Renata fue una excelente host desde el inicio, al igual que las atenciones por whatsapp fueron inmediatas y cálidas. Les recomienda desayunar en el restaurante con el que cuentan, excelente sabor!

Les lits super confortables et énormes ! L'endoit est au sommet d'ue colline au calme. Probablement un des meilleurs endroits ou l'on a séjournée en Basse Callifornie.
- gerardo (6/5): - Pictures on the website are misleading , to get to the beach is a half hour walk , to get to the hotel is all dirt roads, they should tell you this,if you don't have a car, you have to walk about an hour to get to town, we sleep in twin beds really!! And when you leave the hotel they turn off your AC , when you come back it takes about 45 min to cool the room. They also turn off all lights on the outside of the hotel.
- Patricia (5/5): Nice views but not a great area. Pool needs cleaning and maintenance. - The ocean views are beautiful, it is quite a distance away. The grounds are lush and there are a lot of hummingbirds. Private parking and a gated entrance was nice. Very nice owner and staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is NOT in walking distance to the beach. The drive is rough coming in and going out and the drive to the beach is very rough. We rented a 2 bedroom house which wasn't what we expected, top floor bedroom/bathroom with separate entrance, main floor bedroom/bathroom with separate entrance and bottom floor open kitchen (shared). It was OK, just not what we were expecting. The pool was not clean, we didn't try the hot tub after the pool - algae growing on the pool tiles, owner's dogs in the pool, tiles need some maintenance. It's really dark at night and we needed our phone flashlights to walk the steps - Outside lighting should be provided.

Aus hygienischen Gründen (Krankheiten) könnte man einen entsprechenden Spray (Ride) zur Verfügung stellen.

From the photos you see it appeared to be on the water but it was a disjointed property with a 20 min walk to the beach. It didn’t feel cohesive by any manner. So much so that I ate the second night - it was Easter and there were no refunds - and I booked a beautiful accommodation in town - the Hacienda. Also not on the water.but the grounds and location more than made up for it.

We chose a room with a balcony instead of a ground level room so we coukd leave the doors open at night to get fresh air and listen to ocean sounds; but there were no screens on the doors to keep out bugs. Window did have a screen but opened up above where the dogs slept below, and they could be a little noisy…but we love dogs so it was OK.

We very much enjoyed the cooking class and the private chef’s dinner while there. You can easily walk to the beach from the property if you don’t mind a little hill. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view of the Pacific. We were fortunate to see quite a bit of whale activity while relaxing in the pool area. One last bonus was the interactions with the resident pets. They were sweet and delightful.
- Mary (10/5): Beautiful place for nature lovers - Los Colibris is a beautiful place and everything worked seamlessly. My little villa on the hillside had everything I wanted: DRINKABLE water (fantastic!), beach towels and umbrella, a beautiful view of the Pacific (migrating whales included), an incredibly comfortable bed, hot shower, a nice little kitchen (with even an ice tray in the freezer - yay), coffee and an easy-to-use coffee maker, and the most lovely patio visited by hummingbirds, orioles and finches. I spent my late afternoons whale-watching from the hot tub. The pool was beautiful too, but too cold for me in January. The hot tub was primo. Everything was spotlessly clean. I was traveling alone and felt safe there. They said the local beach was a 20-minute walk, but it would have been a hike for me to get back up the hill, so I drove. I think a car is really necessary there because the place is also about an eight-minute drive to the center of town. Plus, I drove to the next beach south, Los Cerritos, which was a better beach because you can swim and there are facilities there. The Todos Santos beach is beautiful but there are no bathrooms. At Los Cerritos I got a beach chair and umbrella, from which I watched several whales breach. Magical. I appreciated that the Los Colibris owners seem to be involved in environmental efforts around Todos Santos, as opposed to just wanting to squeeze the most money possible from their property. But that is just an impression.

There is a small fridge and a microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The water is safe to drink. The neighborhood seemed a little questionable. There are dogs everywhere and there is no way to tell if they are friendly. (the dogs that live at the property are friendly). It is a bit of a walk through the neighborhood to the beach. I was only there for 2 nights so did not try it. The bed was hard, so we didn't sleep well.

The pool was delightful because it was very hot out. We did not pay for the breakfast, so I cannot speak to that. The room could have used a few more outlets (most were behind the beds). Our coffee maker didn't work. The location is good in terms of views, but it's a little bit out of town and a 25-minute walk to the non-swimming beach. We did not do the walk (too hot), so I cannot say more about whether or not it is worth it.

Beautiful lush gardens and a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Plenty of space in the casita for the family to spread out and get comfortable. Lovely breakfasts on the terrace. Property can be challenging to get around if you have any kind of balance or mobility issues. Multiple stairs everywhere because the property is built into a hillside. The beach below is not safe for swimming and is only accessible via a steep, rocky trail. The hotel is not really close to downtown Todos Santos. You must drive through a dusty, unpaved neighborhood to get there.

I particularly like all the sustainability measures that the property is taking, and the owners are leaders in the local zero waste movement. I love staying at Los Colibris!

- Lars (9/5): Lovely get-away - We received a very friendly welcome by the manager/host - and some of the resident dogs. Between our friends and ourselves we rented two casitas and a house. All were very comfortable, clean, unique and picturesque. The friendly service continued through breakfast and help with taxis and suggestions. The water in entire property is filtered, so tap water is good to drink. Weather was nice (May), and it cooled down nicely at night, but the air conditioning also worked very well. We had the window open at night, though, and heard only the ocean. Access to the hotel is via multiple unmarked and uneven dirt roads in sometimes dilapidated state. There are no signs and no lights, and it is very dusty. We were glad we had an SUV. The ocean is not for swimming.

A car is needed 1 - We liked that the property was quiet and had an amazing view, it was about a 12 minute drive from the centre on a dirt bumpy road. The room was lovely, but the disabled access ramp not ideal for a one year old. We loved the layout and privacy of our stay. However, something simple that could improve the experience would be the ability to buy drinks there. Ie, soft drinks and beer. The breakfast was very expensive for what it was and to be honest not that great.

- Jackie (6/5): lovely hillside gem if you want to get away - It's a beautiful little resort,,The decoration of the unit was lovely and the view and patio outside the unit was beautiful, They do offer breakfast, but we didn't try it. our unit (Babisuri West) was build into a hillside with a north-facing wall as the only light. the ocean is not swimmable on this beach and getting to it was a challenging walk or a drive. We had no way to keep ice in our tiny refrigerator and there is no ice machine on the property so you have to buy a bag of ice a day in town and just let it melt. Not a safe road to walk at night and even driving was dicey (dirt roads one lane wide in many places).

- Olivia (10/5): A beautiful stay steeped in nature ran by eco conscious animal lovers - We absolutely adored our time at Los Colibris. From the moment we arrived and had a wonderful private dinner on the balcony prepared by the most kind and attentive chef we knew we were onto a winner. The compassion and care that Sergio, Bryan and the whole team have for animals and nature was very aligned to our own values. They made special vegan dishes for my husband, had proper recycling facilities, and impressive reading materials surrounding their efforts in conservation and supporting the community. This, paired with the many incredibly friendly dogs and cats on site who we fell in love with, especially Suri, plus the incredible views where we saw so many whales playing and manta rays dancing, made this the unexpected hidden gem and highlight of our honeymoon. We didn’t have a car and so we often walked to and from town (an easy, if dusty, 30 mins) and got taxis in the evening which were fairly reasonable. It was hard to drag ourselves away from the views from the terrace over the lagoon and to the ocean, but the town of todos santos is wonderful, friendly and beautiful. Los Colibris also is Ia slightly rocky but straight forward ten mins to the beach to get closer to the marine life action, and not long to walk to a nearby beach club if that’s your thing. Sorry for the very long review but we just really thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we were sad to leave. All the staff were so friendly and lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. This is a must stay for any nature lovers who care about the environment. N/A

A ten minute walk put you on the beautiful beach below. Parking was a challenge every time we moved our car to go into town. For the price we paid I felt breakfast should’ve been included especially since there aren’t any alternate options close by. The owner, tho helpful, could’ve been more hospitable… I understand he’s been doing this for over 20 years but he needs to remember it’s a first and a dream for most of us.

The views of the ocean were astonishing. Especially at sunset. Breakfast was perfectly cooked to order. And sitting on my balcony with a good book was fantastic. What I didn’t like was that it was really remote from town and on bumpy dirt roads to get there and back, by rental car or calling a taxi. Also, once you were there, you really needed your own supplies of food, drinks, and snacks. Even ice. No food or drink served after 10am.

If traveling with a group, I probably would also coordinate a dinner there too to take advantage of sunset view from pool. Cannot walk to Todos town easily. Cabs are $200MX each way, cash, and have to be called so plan accordingly or rent a car and it’s about 15 mins drive. Walking beach access is rocky so water shoes with rubber soles very useful. Beach Club & San Cristobel hotel are a bit of a walk on beach but recommended for lunch/early dinner if you are without car or don’t want to deal with the dusty roads. Similar pricing to the better places in town and they have better food.

- Miranda (5/5): More adventure than we were prepared for - Unbeatable views and lush green environment. The property is located at the top of a hill with an amazing view of the beach. ocean, and mountains. The pool looks out towards the beach, has lovely lounge chairs and beautiful greenery all around. The staff & owners are really warm and friendly. This is the perfect hotel for young couples looking for a romantic get away or for families with older children who want to cook all of their own meals. Getting to/from- The property is up a rough dirt road a fair distance from any shops or restaurants and parking is a dedicated space off a fairly narrow drive bordered by a rock wall. The road had us wishing we'd rented a Jeep and the parking made us glad we didn't as we already had to execute a multi-point turn to get in and out. Wildlife- The property is home to several packs of dogs who are mostly lovely during the day (there is one that will aggressively scratch at your legs if you are eating outside), but bark and fight during the night. Several nights the fighting got a bit intense and was scary for our young kids. We also woke up to a scorpion in our bathroom. Room set up- We rented a 2 bedroom casita as our kids are 3&9 yrs old not realizing that the bedrooms would not in any way be connected. They were in the same building, but had separate entrances to the outside and were not connected. The patio off of the lower room had a long drop and no railing, so we slept with one parent in each room with 1 kid. Food availability- the onsite cafe serves breakfast from 8-10, but the one day we tried them they were completely out of eggs by 8:30 and had little else on their menu. There isn't much else nearby, so the week was a lot of driving loading the kids in and out of the car.

- Jan (9/5): Beautiful retreat. - We traveled with our sons and thought we'd be together with two bedrooms in one place with a kitchen. It turned out to be two separate bedrooms on top of each other with a separate kitchen. It worked out well, just not what we expected. The staff was wonderful and the views spectacular with lots of birds. We loved the dogs and cats on the property. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the pool was wonderful. The beds were comfortable as well, but my favorite thing besides the view was the landscaping. Beautiful pathways and flowers everywhere. Someone planned this property so well. I can't think of anything!

- Harsha (9/5): Incredible place and owners and a great place to unwind and soak in some local culture. - Los Casitas is a beautiful property perched up on a hill in Todos Santos. We had a lovely casita facing the ocean with outdoor seating. They have a lovely pool to relax and watch the sunset. They have a lovely dining area where you can get breakfast. You need to notify them in advance if you would like other meals prepared. They offer cooking classes too. We went on a historical downtown tour with the owner Sergio and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend it! Bryan who is Sergio's wife, is so helpful, whether it be scheduling some trips or meals outside of breakfast. The sunsets from your room or the pool are gorgeous! We would be back every evening to just watch the sunsets. The beach is a 20 min walk from the property. Its beautiful beach with hardly anyone there so you can take a walk or just chill on the beach and read. The Casita comes with a beach umbrella and chair for your use. It feels like a home away from home...and I will definitely be back. Great place to unwind and soak in some local culture The roads leading up to the hotel are dirt roads and also due to the construction quite rocky...we had a sedan car and it worked out fine. But if you plan to drive to other locations, would recommend getting an SUV car so its more pleasurable. The high ways are beautiful, its just once you get into town its dirt road roads....this is the beauty of Baja California ...just wish i had done a little more research so we were more prepared.

The owners live on the property and it shows how much they care about the place and their guests. They were extremely welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Everyone was nice and accommodating. The views from the room and the property are sensational and the room itself was wonderful and cozy, clean and spacious. We wished we could've stayed longer. The beach below was full of whales and calves, you can walk to it through a wonderful palm plantation. The pool and hot tub were also wonderful. Note that there are not many food/restaurant options around the property. You'll have to drive into Todos to walk around the town and grab a bite to eat if you don't want to have another meal on the property. Also FYI that it's a dirt road most of the way (but that's Todos in general). Lots of pets on the property, and we loved it, but we saw some guests who were not comfortable so just wanted to point that out.
