Julia (10/5): Nice re-do of an older motel - Nice re-do of an older motel. Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Simple breakfast also included. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the size of the bath towels.

From the outside it looks like an old fashioned roadside motel but they’ve done a beautiful renovation / upgrade and the rooms are spacious and modern with nice touches like healthy snacks , a good coffee machine, noise machine , super comfy bed. Bathtub is always a nice plus. Second surprise is that breakfast is all homemade and delicious. I mentioned on the phone that a family member has a dairy allergy, and there were 2 dairy free homemade baked goods which tasted great. We will bring our dog next time for sure. The location is beautiful. Also the owners are friendly and kind, they’ve created a wonderful spot.

Denise (10/5): - Berkshire Valley Inn was such a unique and comfortable place to stay. Best: the care taken to provide comfort (wonderful beds!). Sofa in living area had a chaise on one end so me, hub, and pup all watched TV in true 'lounge-like-you're at home' style'. They made sure I had Gluten free options included in their free breakfast...muffins....quiche....yougurt etc. Effortless check in, super dog friendly! My pup had his own bed, bowls, and treats AND dog park!! I could go on....best also- within 30-40 min of all Berkshire attractions! We exhausted ourselves and still didnt see everything! MassMOCA, Norman Rockwell museum, Mt Greylock (drive to gorgeous summit and tower!), sculpture park, West Stockbridge....whew! Great trip! Awesome hosts! Dont pass this by and think its your average motel. View, class, comfort, care.......And clean pool. Thank you so much BVI!
Tammie (10/5): Family fun - I stayed with my daughter and 2 grandchildren. The room was clean and adorable. They have several otems in the room that you can purchase if needed. We did have 2 of the waters. The pool was very clean and had several floats you can use. The breakfast was also good. Choices of fruit, yogurt, scones, pastry, breakfast sandwich and fritotta and they warmed it up. They had coffee and juice also. Separate area for your fur babies. I would recommend this place. It was very welcoming.

Suzy (10/5): Home away from home - Comfortable, friendly, cozy, thoughtfully designed and well-run. The owner has done an amazing job of renovating this classic motel. We stayed in a 3-bedroom family unit that was perfect. Everyone got a bed, we had a kitchen and two bathrooms. This is incredibly rare for this price. The breakfast was tasty. The pool is recently renovated and sparkling. The owner knowledgable about the area and made spot-on recommendations for hiking, running, food, everything. Felt like a home away from home. Kate (10/5): - The Berkshire Valley Inn is lovely! Pamela has taken a roadside motel from another era and brought it into the 21st century. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated with everything we needed— comfortable beds, a mini fridge/freezer, and a great shower, with snacks and drinks available for purchase. The daily continental breakfast was delicious and included a variety of options (breakfast sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, fruit). Pamela’s love for the property and warm hospitality shine through! This is a gem in the Berkshires.

Although I wish they had blackout curtains, my sleep mask effectively solved the issue of incoming light.

Check in was super easy and they communicated very well everything we needed to know. Very charming hotel and clean. Would highly recommend. The area is also super beautiful and we suggest Tunnel City Coffee if you're looking for a local coffee spot
Shannon (10/5): - Stayed here for the Yoga Festival and it couldn't have been better. Pamela called the day of arrival to make sure everything was still all set and to give us info on how to check in. The whole stay was amazing, from the fresh hanging flowers outside each door to energy shots in the morning, to the delivery of a fire stick to try and help us watch the Celtics finals. I am looking forward to heading back to the Berkshires and will definitely be staying here. Thank you Pamela!

rachel (10/5): - Berkshire valley inn is special for many reasons. They have reconfigured some of the classic hotel rooms into 3 or 4 bedroom suites with a kitchen. They have built a dog run on the hill behind the hotel. They serve delicious gluten free (!) muffins and frittata as well as gluten-full items. They have decorated in a cute and modern style that is unpretentious and comfortable. And the proprietor is lovely, she even called me when she found something we left behind. I hope to visit again in warmer weather when the pool is full and the sky is clear. It’s such a beautiful area.

You can hear your neighbors talking in their rooms and their TVs which is a bit annoying. Despite the negatives, We would return.

Shannon (8/5): - This inn was a great option for our one night stay in the area as a family of five. We were in a one bedroom suite and the space worked out perfectly. It was clean and well stocked with what we needed. Pamela, the owner, checked in with us before our arrival to provide check-in info and see if there was anything extra she could provide in the room to make our stay more comfortable (extra towels, blankets, etc). She was very nice to work with and it's apparent that she cares about her guests. It's an older inn, but she's working to make updates throughout so I know it will continue getting even better. We would definitely stay again if in the area!
Paul (10/5): - Perfect place to stay if you are going to be around Williamstown or North Adams. Very easy to get to. Very clean and the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Breakfast could have been a bit more substantial. I would have liked to speak with the owner to hand over the key when we were leaving but could not find anyone around. I hope by leaving the key in the door, that was OK. Everyone was very friendly. A great but short stay and if in the area again, would definitely see this place as an option.

Peter and Cindy (10/5): - The room was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was brought to our room - how nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Very dog friendly. Thank you for being there in the place we needed to stay to visit our friend.
Ed (10/5): - Our third and longest visit here. Easy to explore in all directions for food, access to the outdoors, and cultural resources. We’ll be back.

Verified traveler (8/5): Little gem of a place outside a college town - We loved the Berkshire Valley in and have been there several times when we go to Williamstown— it’s clean, cute, comfortable, friendly and quiet. It’s also wonderful value— not too expensive and everything we need. They do offer a simple breakfast which is also a plus— I just wish they’d extend breakfast time a little past 9:30 am— esp on the weekends— which they don’t. But other than that it’s great.

David (2/5): The place used to be nice- stay away now - The host is totally inflexible. We have been staying at this property for years- the new management - Pamela- is very difficult to deal with. We stayed twice in a week. The first stay, we asked if we could stay in the room a bit past 11. She told us there would be $50 charge ( in itself, exorbitant). We declined. We returned for the weekend. On Sunday I called the host at about 11:15 to let her know we’d be checking out. The call went to voicemail. About 15 minutes later she called back letting us know that she was charging us $50. At that point I asked her nicely please not to charge us. She refused stating that we had to pay. I did get angry at this point and hung up the phone. My wife tried to reason with her- Pamela came to the room and flatly refused our request not to charge the $50. And she decided that she would charge us an additional $20 a night because my son is 13. Not only for the weekend- but retroactively for our prior stay! We’re really sad about this turn of events. We loved staying here- but Pamela , the owner made it clear we’re no longer welcome. Sad for all the other guests that n ed to endure sure harsh treatment.

Paula (10/5): - Perfect for what we needed. Staff was super helpful and friendly . The place was clean and well cared for. The only issue was that the walls are a bit thin and the family next door was quite loud- we were still able to sleep and would go there again.

Kim (10/5): - I have stayed here for years. The new owner, Pamela, is amazing. I called for help during a snowstorm, she was very responsive and helpful. When we checked in, late at night, she left a nice note on the door. The room was wonderfully clean and warm. Great customer service.
