• Sandra (5/5): - Stable internet. Good food. Quiet location. Outside area/ garden is kept clean. Restaurant with shadow and ocean view. Staff/Management or owners were unfriendly from the very first moment. Room was very old and broken in many areas see pictures. The room gets very hot after 10 am. You can not stay inside. There is no curtain, so you wake up with sunlight. Very very basic room: 1 bed, 1 fan, cold water, toilet, 1 sink. No moskito net, but everyday moskitos. No free drinking water, no soap or shampoo, no scooter helmet to borrow, no shelf to put anything. No table in room or on balcony. I did not feel welcomed. Every day I bought lunch, water, and coffee/coke and paid. Last day they said I did not pay my lunch. So make sure to ask for your receipt every time. If you need to sit at a table in the evening, the lights are turned off at 9pm. So you cannot use the table any longer. I cannot recommend. I give 5 stars because the location is directly at the beach.

• Lisa-Maria (9/5): Wir fanden es sehr gemütlich und ich könnte mir auch vorstellen länger dort zu bleiben. Wer also ein Häuschen am Strand - Es ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Das Personal ist super lieb und sehr hilfsbereit. Ich hatte gedacht, dass etwas mehr Strand an der Anlage ist aber dafür kann das Resort nichts :)

• Jacob (10/5): Njut av din vistelse - Den låg så nära stranden och promenad avstånd till centrum så man fick det bästa av två världar. Trycket i duschen var lite för mjuk men den gjorde jobbet

• Dominique (10/5): - Très bel endroit au calme, de jour comme de nuit . Jardin parfaitement entretenu. Le cadre est idyllique avec en prime le lever de soleil. Très bon accueil par le propriétaire. Un seul regret, n'y être resté que deux nuits. Un petit frigo dans la chambre aurait été le bienvenu.

• Dean (10/5): Highly reccomend! - Always a great stay! Every time I come to Koh Phangan it’s the only place I will stay. Rooms are really comfortable and management are really friendly and remember who you are if you stayed with them previously. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing place, then book here for sure!

• Tugberk (1/5): The worst place i stayed in my life - There is nothing we like about the place From the moment we checked in the place until leaving we had awful experiences. First of all, this place is not the one of but the top worst place we stayed. The check-in process was handled by someone named Patrick, whom I believe to be the business owner. His attitude was very indifferent and rude. I would like to give further info for the travellers; there is no shampoo even hand soap in the room, no safe case, the resort are you stay is dirty. There some trash bags and the keep them in the middle of the area and it looks so disturbing. What they call a reception and restaurant is just a tent. And there are bugs and flies everywhere. And can't even pay for your stay with a credit card. Cash only! The toilet and shower smells bad plus all sounds come inside. There are holes in the toilette. The smell has permeated the entire room. The facility has no social amenities whatsoever. They usually have visitors who come to use drugs and joints on a daily basis. This is not a resort, just a scam. This place should be banned by booking.com Finally, the owner or the manager of the hotel is so rude. You hardly ask a question and get answer. When we wanted to show our unhappiness about our stay, he just said ‘bye bye’ i never ever seen such a rude behaviour in my stays not in Tailand but all around the word

• Suzanne (5/5): - Mooi plekje direct aan de zee op een handige locatie dichtbij eettentjes. Mogelijkheid om bij Sea Gate Beach te eten en het resort was groen. Al eerder genoemd: stinkend water uit de kraan, oude huisjes en vlekken in het beddengoed. Ach, daar was de prijs ook naar. Prijs-kwaliteit klopte dus. Wat me vooral heeft verbaasd zijn de 'rookvrije' huisjes. Ik geloof dat ik tussen 2 vaste bewoners in het laagseizoen zat die achter elkaar sigaretten opstaken. De ene bewoner was s nachts op en stoorde mij in de nacht met sigarettendamp. In de ochtend startte de andere buur met zijn jointjes. Bah.....

• Jorge (9/5): Cozy, well located and very affordable! - I really liked the location and how it is close to the beach. The room was comfy enough for one person, and it had a nice little terrace you could relax in front of the bedroom. Nothing that I can think of.
• Medhmed (3/5): Décevant - Proximité avec le port (15min à pied), 5-7min à pied de la rue principale où se trouvent les resto, magasins et food court. Les 2 femmes membres du personnel super sympa, plage en face (mais énormément de pierre et pas de transat pour s’y installer) je met quand même des photos parce que dans l’ensemble l’endroit a un charme mais je n’ai pas aimé mon séjour Omniprésence d’insectes et bestioles!! je cohabitais avec lézards et fourmis ( fourmis en trop grand nombre), la porte ne touche pas le sol donc les bêtes peuvent se faufiler à l’intérieur (cafards), c’était très stressant! Une seule serviette (assez courte) à disposition, pas de couverture mais un drap ( assez petit drap une seule place) fourni, pas de savon, pas de papier toilettes, l’eau des toilettes/ douche/ lavabo à une odeur nauséabonde je me lavais le visage avec de l’eau en bouteille tellement c’était insupportable. L’hôtel ne répond pas aux messages direct sur booking et ne répond pas au numéro de téléphone fourni sur booking non plus, personne à la réception le soir donc si on a une urgence on ne peut disposer d’aucune aide ou information

I unknowingly booked the week of the full moon party, which increased the price for 7 nights to 7500 baht. I feel ripped off because I did not go to the full moon party, and the place was vacant anyway. Recommend for 1 night maybe passing through. Dont stay here on full moon party.
• Alessandra (1/5): AWFUL - This was one of the worst travel experiences we have ever had, mainly because of the hosts. The man was shockingly rude and downright unpleasant. We arrived very late at night due to a delayed ferry and, after running out of cash, we politely asked if we could pay half of the total (all the cash we had) and leave a card as a guarantee (already provided on Booking), clearly stating we would pay the remaining half the next morning after withdrawing money. Instead of showing the slightest understanding, they rudely refused and gave us an ultimatum: withdraw the full amount within 10 minutes or we wouldn’t get the room and they would close the reception. When we finally paid and entered the room, we found it had not even been cleaned before our arrival — completely unacceptable for any paying guest. As many other guests have already complained, the water smells awful and stagnant. There are drainage canals right next to the property, and it’s obvious they have no proper filtration system. To make things even worse, during our entire 6-night stay, no one came to clean the room, change the sheets, or even empty the trash bin. Not once. This place is a complete rip-off — outrageously overpriced for the terrible service and disrespectful treatment. Avoid it at all costs. There are far better, cleaner, and friendlier options just a few steps away on the same street.

• Ellie (3/5): Poor - Good location It wasn’t clean. The water smelled like sewage, owners were unconcerned by this. The owners were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The bungalow has a fan but no AC so it can be very hot and because it’s not much bigger than the size of the bed it feels claustrophobic. No shelves, wardrobe, mini fridge, AC, shampoo or body wash. No hand soap or toilet paper. Very poor amenities.

We have traveled all thailand before and never met such unfriendly people. Probably they have had a lot of problems with all the tourism here.

The quality/price is pretty good considering the season and the full moon party The water stinks and feels like copper, which smells bad and doesn’t allow you to clean clothes because they keep the smell. The owner of the place was really rude from the beginning, the guy was nice but she was just disrespectful and not great vibes.

In the end he let me in, but the cabin was moldy, the shower smelled of terrible sewage. Everything is shaky. The rooms are small and it feels like a prison with the windows.

The owner was really friendly to us and we liked that the food court and the pier was in walkable distance. The water had a really bad smell and you just didn’t feel clean after showering what was something we didn’t quite like. Also there were a few bugs and the mattress was just really hard.

The common areas were very nicely done up, with hammocks, swings etc overlooking a nice view. Water quality from the bathroom tap can be improved, had a slight smell at times

(You could shut wooden windows, but then your even hotter) so everyone can see in you (no privacy). They use well water. It stinks like a sewer. No toilet paper or soap provided. How are you meant to wash your hands after sewer water bide to wash your butt. They wouldn't even keep a drink for me in their fridge. Worst place I've stayed in years. Can't recommend.

The location was very close to the pier (we booked it because we had to catch the boat the next morning) but very quiet at night. The restaurant serves some authentic Thai food. Great value for money. It is not easy to find, so we had to use Google Maps.

• David (9/5): Location, staff, and great food! - The location on a road close to the city of THONG SALA was surprisingly quiet! The staff are amazing and they went out of their way to be helpful. I say this about all places in Thailand, but I believe they should have centralized water to refill water bottles. That would be one of the only things I would recommend.

Attention ne surtout pas y aller ! 1- The shower smells like sewage, and we had to go back and shower in the old establishment because our bodies smelled of poo after the shower. we had to machine wash all our clothes afterwards because they all smelled of poo, it's disgraceful! 2- We asked the staff for help and they said "I don't care". « Put a comment on booking and we'll see » 2- No wifi 3- No sheets were washed! Everything sm il elled terrible, there were menstrual stains everywhere, it was filthy! Instead, go to the neighboring "island bungalow", same location and incredible accommodation!
