- Memory Maker (9/5): Lovely pool overlooking the city - Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The staff were very attentive. Great pool overlooking the city. Spacious suite with washing machine. We booked for 4 adults in a double suite and it only had 3 beds. I informed them and they wanted to charge us for an extra bed. After 4 phone calls they agreed that I shouldn’t have to pay.

I went to the pool & gym, & both were amazing. This is certainly one of the best pools in the city. I look forward to to coming back an staying longer next time. Staff were super helpful also. I have no complaints about this property.

I am at the hotel for the fourth time just because of the service and the hills, much better quality than other hotels The pool and facilities are well maintained and the service at the bar is fast The hotel does not boast a name or a leading chain, but it provides service and treatment that has no competitors
- Seth (5/5): This place overall was ok, but I think you can get better bang for buck elsewhere. - The room size in the business suites is great, location is good. The food at the flame restaurant was great, just extortionate prices though. Recommend going and sitting on the rooftop bar at night time for a great view of the city at night. You can also smoke up there. I felt the price you pay for a room even on the 6th floor wasn’t worth the money considering the view is literally facing a shopping mall and a few apartments blocks. For $1,700 AUD you should have a view of the city skyline. When asked about it they said there was no business suites facing the city view. The breakfast was a let down, the food was just no where near up to standard at the breakfast bars, the only thing I really enjoyed there was the coffee in the morning. Room was outdated and needs a renovation just in comparison to other hotels I’ve stayed at across the world for similar rates.

We truly appreciated the early check-in, which is rare and something that will definitely make us come back. Staff at reception polite and friendly Leona & Danie on check out beautiful girls . Restaurant manager Roy and Dieter our server were both , along with the staff attentive and fabulous. The variety and quality of food served for breakfast was delicious and definitely worth including in the booking . The bar staff on the rooftop Melve & Sean made us feel extremely welcome and serve the best cocktails we just adored them both along with the other chap that was there . Our first visit to Manila and what beautiful people along with the food and culture we will definitely return . Do make sure you are there in Makati on a Sunday with the street blocked off to enjoy fitness and exercise from 5am-10am the perfect way to ride or walk to enjoy the area 🇵🇭❤️🇵🇭 No negative comments

Had a bad experience with the Flame restaurant on the roof top. Ordered lobster rice and part of the lobster was under cooked, they sent it back to the kitchen and torched it so it was not eatable tough and burnt. Staff was great.. Internet service constantly dropped on our TVs and devices. Engineer came 2 times during our stay fixed the issue then it happened again.

Staff were all kind and were always ready to help. They also upgraded us and prepared a little birthday present in the room - which was very sweet. Food was generally ok and reasonably priced. The malls are at least about a ten-minute walk away. Bed could have been firmer for my bad back. Breakfast buffet had a nice diverse selection but needed more signage and the staples could be improved—bacon could have been tastier, eggs richer, yogurt could have been freely served instead of in big pre-packaged portions.

They quoted me 18,000 PHP to Angeles City while I paid only 3,500 PHP with a premium private car. They take advantage of the fact that Grab doesn’t easily go outside Manila. When I asked why the price was so much higher, they just told me to take a bus. This is over 5× the normal price and very unfair to guests.

It was already my second time at the hotel, and without a doubt, it once again exceeded expectations—especially since it was my family’s first time experiencing Makati. From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Ms. Leona from the Front Office and Mr. Marlon from Housekeeping for making our suites feel extra special. Not only were the rooms ready even before our check-in time, but they also thoughtfully arranged for our suites to be adjacent, just as I had requested during booking since we were traveling with kids. That level of attention to detail truly made a difference. Housekeeping went above and beyond by preparing a beautiful birthday setup for my mom—a creatively arranged “cake” made of towels and a “Happy Birthday” banner on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made the celebration even more meaningful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Rein from the concierge, and a courteous bellman (whose name I unfortunately wasn’t able to get) assisted us with all our luggage up to our suites. The check-in experience felt seamless and genuinely welcoming. We also appreciate Mr. Alexander for promptly attending to our concerns and requests during the evening. Breakfast at Tapenade was amazing as always. Having stayed in various hotels for both leisure and work, what really stood out to me was the inclusion of Filipino taho—a delightful and nostalgic touch. The food selection was superb, with something for everyone, and even the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Special recognition goes to Mr. Roy for his top-notch hospitality. He made the effort to go around each table, personally checking if guests needed anything else to enhance their breakfast experience. That level of attentiveness is truly commendable. I would also like to highlight Mr. Mark and Mr. Renze—these two are absolute standouts. Always smiling and approachable, they made it so easy to ask for assistance. Their willingness to serve, excellent communication skills, and genuine warmth are exactly what great hospitality should look like. It’s no surprise that Tapenade is considered one of the best. The pool area is another highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere with a stunning view of the Makati skyline and Urdaneta Village. As a small suggestion, it would be even better if cold facial towels or drinking water could be offered to guests during the day to keep everyone refreshed. Overall, this stay was nothing short of exceptional. Discovery Primea continues to impress with its outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and attention to guest comfort. I and my family will definitely be coming back to our home in Makati.

The quality remains exactly as I remember from years ago, very consistent. The location is excellent, very well situated, with Ayala Triangle and Salcedo Market just a short walk away. We booked a suite for a small gathering with friends, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The team was generous with complimentary touches that made the celebration even more special. Service was outstanding, not just during our stay but even after. I accidentally left a few items in the room, and they kept everything safely despite my late pickup. Truly appreciated. Special thanks to their Front Office Manager, Nikko Ravancho, for making sure we were well taken care of throughout. The property itself is very well maintained, and you can feel that it’s professionally run. Definitely a place I’ll continue to choose every time I’m in Makati.

Having traveled to over 60 countries, I’ve experienced many luxury properties, but this stay set a new benchmark. The serviced residences were beautifully designed, comfortable, and fully supported by outstanding hospitality. What truly sets this property apart is its people. From Amyr and Elli, who made our arrival unforgettable, to Ezra, Leona, Gela, AD, Danie, Eunice, and Tim at the front office, every interaction was seamless and elevated. The concierge team, Dev, Jun, and John, were exceptional, and the bell, security, and support teams consistently delivered warm, professional service. Breakfast at Tapenade was a daily highlight thanks to Roy and the entire restaurant team, Charmaine, Dale, Pam, Renze, Diether, Jeffrey, Fernel, Mark, Anthony, Jonel, Nickel, Ashley, and Angelo, who provided consistently outstanding service. Chef Luis and his kitchen team were equally impressive. A special thank you as well to the front office management and sales team for accommodating a very late check out on my final day, which made my 11pm departure seamless. From housekeeping to the pool, gym, and rooftop teams, the level of care and attention to detail across all departments was remarkable. The location and amenities are world class, but it’s the people who truly make Discovery Primea special. For two months, this was not just a hotel, it was home. I look forward to returning.
