• Joseph (9/5): A great place to stay. - The mud hut rooms provided a quiet space that, together with an excellent air con, ensured we had a very relaxing three night stay. All the facilities worked well and the location of the property is excellent. It is a little pricey considering the rooms don’t get serviced daily and the manager only attends for a couple of hours a day.
• carmel (8/5): Comfortable stay - Good sized room and bathroom. Good location near main strip. Lovely friendly staff. Cars parked off street. Had to keep curtains closed because sun hit windows. Also no netting or see through blinds so opening the blind exposed the room. Parking could be a little tight if large vehicles in front of units at angle to ours.

• Desire (1/5): - Nothing We missed our booking due to very late communication from the Mud hut hotel about our late eta. We booked around 4:45 pm for the same night and indicated our late arrival time right away. According to their information, their reception closed at 5 pm. A good four hours later, we received a confirmation on our late arrival time with after-hours check-in details. It was almost 9 p.m. here and pitch dark. We still had to drive for a while in the pitch black, with all the inherent dangers here of hitting animals etc, and just before they emailed us, we decided not to risk driving and then arriving at their doorstep without a place to stay. You really don't want to be left without a place to stay in that part of Australia; it's too dangerous. I tried calling the number listed here on booking, but it wasn't in service. Despite us missing the booking due to their late communication, they simply debited the amount and now refuse to refund it. No goodwill, nothing!! If this is how you want to earn your money, I think you're doing something wrong!!

• Brandi Ann (7/5): other than the shower and poor service my reception it was okay. wish we had a better shower. - The room was very nice and very comfortable beds. The lady i spoken with over the phone was a great help. Throughout the four nights stay we had no one come to offer room service. No one to come clean through rooms or offer more teas and sugar. Also the shower pressure of the room with very bad couldn’t really shower which was annoying. On the second day i went to the office to speak with a Male worker of Indian descent. i asked him about the rather pressure and if was normal he replied he would check the other rooms. He didn’t come back to me with a resolution and didn’t even follow up on my request. I was waiting for him to contact or seek us to inform us there was no way of changing rooms or discussing the issue future he just left us to it and that is the reasoning of the poor rates is. No body taking my situation seriously.

• Riessen (8/5): It was a very good stay and we always enjoy staying at this motel - The motel was very nice. We always stay at this motel whenever we stop at Coober Pedy on our way to Adelaide. It is close to the fuel station and walking distance to restaurants. the fold out sofa bed was not very comfortable and the parking doesn't allow everyone to park in front of their room.

Front staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating for us and our two dogs - even when we had to book an extra night as the car wasn't ready, they made sure we were okay and taken care of throughout our stay. Rooms were tidy and comfortable. Very thankful to the staff at the Mud Hut Hotel.
