• Darryl (7/5): We didnt spend much time at the hotel apart from sleeping but overall for what we required it was ex - The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. There was loads of parking and when we came back late at night the security was there to let us in. The wifi was excellent and the aircon worked nicely. Value for money for sure. There are sone maintenance issues that could be repaired such as the basin damming, the soap dispensers, 1 broken 1 empty, We didnt experience the pool or breakfast so no comment on that. The bed was very uncomfortable but that may just be a preference.

• Pius (1/5): Terrible, I would not recommend to anyone. - This was not a great experience as a result I checked out early and found another place. Between 2am and 3am, on my first night the door to my room was opened by someone while I was in bed. I called reception to notify them of this incident - no outcome came of it. The noise levels were unbearable, I could not sleep until past 4am because people were very chatty and loud by the pool area and corridors and the sound travels very loudly. I could barely find parking upon arrival at around 8PM, I managed to squeeze in by the entrance gate.
• Sifiso Mbele (5/5): Our Expectations Were Not Met At All! - A fully functioning Wifi was the only thing good about this place! The TV had no internet access (i.e not a "smart" modern tv) hence there's barely anything to watch. The place felt off, quiet and boring even though it was "sold out" for this weekend. Food was costly as well, having to pay for breakfast too. The safe was malfunctioning. The fridge is the smallest I've ever seen - barely more than 3 items fit inside. Personally did not like the old Apollo theme - did not fit my style - as well as an outdated, out-of-touch key-door system as I am used to having modern keycards to unlock the door (I was assuming this fits the whole old Apollo theme which I was personally not a fan of). Moreover, we reveived only 1 key even though I booked for 2 guests. The location was not the best. Not the best hotel I have been to, me and my partner were not a fan at all. Not returning here any time soon!

From the very first moment you stop at the gate the friendliest service and greetings from the staff to the comfortable room and mesmerizing view of the city skylines.. everything is just perfect. We can recommend a stay at Appolo any time you visit Randburg area. Nothing not to like. Safe parking and a quiet neighborhood . Close to nearby Cresta where we attend a show at The Cirk. All was perfect.

Check-in was smooth, and any questions we had were handled with care and patience. Our room was spotless and comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning view overlooking Sandton City — especially magical at night with all the lights. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a memorable city view.
