- Tiago (10/5): - Otima localizacao, otimo jantar, cafe ok. Quartos pequenos. Otima de hotel em val thorens, bom custo beneficio. Na frente do clubmed, ski in ski out.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - **Disgustingly foul smell dirty rooms. ** Food terrible and everything cold. ** Travelodge sized rooms. **Rude staff and manager nowhere to be seen (hiding). ** Heater in the room did not work. ** Extensive mould in the bathroom. ** Dirty towels on the floor were hung up wet and dirty by service with no way to dry them at least. ** Manager was never available to discuss issues. ** I had to move hotels after 2 days. **I became ill with Norovirus and was violetly sick the day after I left.

- Jean (2/5): - Excellent location. Ski in and out. Literally next door to gondola. Everything is downhill after that. The rooms are tiny and dated. Service is poor and rigid. Food is cafeteria standard.

Aucune isolation phonique (on entends les gens parler dans le couloir ou l'ascenseur) Personnel lent et incompétent. Chambre petite et ancienne. Bref pour 200 euro ce 4 étoiles, passez votre chemin.
- Jason (8/5): Average but good - The location is good and you can ski in and out and they provide you with a locker. Loved the skiing in val thorens! When we first arrived they forgot to clean the room we were to be in and we got moved to a different room. The new room was bigger and better. I must say the basic room looks very small. The beds in the rooms are very tiny and half of my husbands leg was over the bed. Overall a good vibe and meets needs but nothing exceptional. Very very French hotel which is good to experience but hard when communicating. All announcements and entertainment is only in French thus not inclusive of English speakers. We could not take part in any of the events and quiz nights. Mostly French guests so probably makes sense. Ideal for a family with kids. Lots and lots of kid activities and kids run the show. If you are looking for a romantic getaway as a couple this is not the place😂 Drinks at the bar are not cheap but in line with the town. Food was good, lots of options and very nice. We had half board and was more than enough. Staff friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine but cost 10 euros for wash and dry and then clothes don't come out dry(had to dry x3) No kettle in room and can only have coffee in morning buffet which was not great. This would be a good hotel for 3 stars but not a 4 star hotel. Has a very hostel vibe.

Seul petit bémol nous étions 2 et nous avions une chambre avec porte communiquant fermée destinée en principes aux famillles et donc pb d insonorisation ..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación para salir esquiando desde la puerta, jacuzzi y hammam muy agradables para después de un día de ski. Muy buen servicio de alquiler de skies en tienda ubicada en el mismo y un muy comprometido y profesional servicio de animación. Buffet variado pero de calidad media y servicio de limpieza decepcionante, en 5 días de alojamiento no hicieron la limpieza de los baños dos días seguidos, cuando eramos 3 personas alojadas en la misma habitación, la cual por cierto era bastante pequeña para 3 huéspedes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Never seen such a bad and inefficient reception! - On the positive, the hotel is located in a very nice place. However, there are so many things wrong with this hotel that I would recommend to find another place. The reception staff (except one person), are the most inefficient that we had ever seen! Check in at 6PM but even then the room was ready at 7PM. Checkout at 9AM! Rooms were very small, and we knew about it, but never seen such small beds ever. Spa staff was very friendly, but you can ONLY use the spa only once during one week of stay after 5PM and twice during the day time!! Hotel is meant for families, and that was also know, but forget about going the hotel bars or other places as kids run around even during the nights etc...

Timings of breakfast and dinner are also bad breakfast needs to finish at least half an hour later (we were rudely turned away a mere 1 minute after breakfast finished, even though many people were still in there) and dinner needs to start an hour earlier. However, the staff were (generally) extremely nice and made a great deal of effort, particularly the receptionists and bar staff. The room was nice, however it should've been cleaned more often. The location of the hotel is perfect truly is a ski-out hotel and the ski facilities are perfect with the lockers and on site shop working very well.

- Ugur (2/5): Does not deserve a third chance - This was our second visit to this hotel. We expected to see some improvements since our last stay. Well guess what all remained the same or even worse. The reception is the most problematic area. Ask any question or help, be sure not to get anything in return. Instead you will get some excuses why they do not give any service. We were asked an extra payment because Of my request of an early checking. But there was a problem. This early checking was a wish that I put in hotels.com page, meanwhile due to our late flight and transfer we were at the hotel at 22:00pm! Restaurant was an old fashioned, outdated since our last visit. We were surprised to find it in its worst shape. Hygiene and sanitation is not the first two words to define this area. Needs a proper dishwasher. The meals were tasting all the same. Most of them tasteless. Rooms were old and windows broken. As a result rooms were cold. Towels and other textiles in the room were always dirty. Do not be upset if you discover a shoe print on your blanket. Roommates were choking the room doors with the help of old towels!?? Which in return will show up as your new clean towel :) WiFi services were never the strongest in this MMV. This year they claimed that this had been renewed. As a result, there was still no WiFi during the half of the visit.

- Darren (8/5): Lovely hotel with true ski in - ski out - We stayed here for a long weekend break at the start of the Season. Val Thorens is great at this time of year, as it will always have snow, even if the rest of the 3 valleys has none. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is directly at the top of the Cairn bubble and you can literally ski in and ski out from the top of the stairs from the ski room. The food is a buffet, but very good considering this and the value for money is exceptional when you consider it is full board. It is our second stay here and we will undoubtedly be booking again for next year.

Le personnel de la salle de restauration était très agréable et souriant, la restauration proposait un choix important et bon. Le moins : parking payant et loin !

- Thomas (6/5): Ucharmerende hoteloplevelse - OK hotel med stor restaurant/morgenmads område og en stor bar. Værelset vi havde var et 3 personers og meget småt, sengene fyldte 75% af gulvarealet. Typisk Val thorens hotel uden nogen luksus eller hygge, ren opbevaring af mennesker. Men hvad det er jo skiløbet der betyder noget. Hotellet var rent og maden ren kantinemad men ok.

- oleg (10/5): good value for money - The food is very diverse and good quality. The rooms are small and practical. The Spa should be ordered in advance and cannot be accessed every day, this is uncomfortable. The hotel is fully SKI IN/OUT. The location is great and near to the skiing area.
- Ergin (6/5): Basic hotel ibn good location - The hotel is in a good location. Spa facilities not bad, but you need to book your slot asap since they only allow 10-12 people at a time, which is hugely insufficient compared to hotel size. Rooms are quite small and not all the renovation finished, so we stayed in old style room but they gave us all inclusive access to bar for drinks which was good. They need some more hangers on the walls so ski gear can be hanged to dry! Also, their ski room lockers is too small for 2 board and boots, so we had to take our boots up. It would be great if they put some kind of boot hangers on top of heaters so boots can be dried over the night rather then trying to balance them on the heater by supporting with chairs, and heater is too small you can only dry 1 pair at a time. Food is average, plenty though. The scrambled egg in the morning was always cold, even though last day being the one of the first persons in the restaurant for breakfast. This hotel preferred by mostly French people so the everything is in French!! But staff is as helpful as they can be permitting their English.
