Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Although only 15 minutes by bus to Sorrento , Italian buses always run late, nothing to fo with accommodation but needs to be noted, be patient, its worth it xx

- Bernhard (8/5): Ruhige Oase im Touristenrummel der Umgebung - + sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Schwestern + das Hotel ist eine stille und ruhige Oase, es verbreitet mit seiner religiösen Einrichtung (Heiligenstatuen, Bilder des Papstes, Leitsprüchen usw.) und dem nahegelegenen Zitronenhain meditatives Flair - das Hotel liegt fernab vom Trubel der Stadt Sorrent, es ist freilich dadurch relativ abgelegen + das Hotel ist recht preisgünstig, wenn man den Hotelpreis mit den durchwegs hohen Preisen in Sorrent oder Capri vergleicht + gutes Frühstück + wir hatten kein Problem mit dem Parken unseres Autos - das Hotelgebäude und die Hotelzimmer (Betten, Tische usw.) sind in die Jahre gekommen - die Stadtbusse halten vor allem abends nicht immer den Fahrplan ein, eine Fahrt nach Sorrent scheint dann manchmal einem Glücksfall zu gleichen - die Fahrt mit dem eigenen Auto ist wenig empfehlenswert, weil die Parkmöglichkeiten in Sorrent sehr beschränkt und teuer sind - Englisch und Italienisch sind im Hotel möglich, Französisch, Deutsch usw. werden nicht gesprochen - fürs Abendessen gibt's unserer Erfahrung nach bloss ein einziges Restaurant im benachbarten Ort, zu Fuss ist es recht weit dorthin

- Gail (10/5): Great location with wonderful views. - Beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. The sisters were welcoming. Breakfast there were eggs from their hens, juice from their fruit trees and homemade goodies. The room was very clean and comfortable. We could get to town via a small local bus for one and a half euro. Everything was great.

- Konni (10/5): Ein Traum oberhalb von Sorrent - Die Lage hoch über Sorrent in einem Zitrusgarten mit einem traumhaften Blick von der Gemeinschaftsterrasse über den Golf von Neapel und Sonnenuntergang hinter Capri ist einfach traumhaft! Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und liebevoll angerichtet, jeden Morgen war ein anderer Kuchen dabei. Die Nonnen, die das Objekt betreiben, sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Kommunikation bei der Anreise per WhatsApp ganz problemlos. Und wir fanden es persönlich sehr angenehm, dass es keinen Fernseher auf dem Zimmer gab. Große Empfehlung! Die Erreichbarkeit mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr war etwas schwierig, da die Busse oft Verspätung hatten oder ganz ausfielen. Zum Glück gibt es 2 Gesellschaften, die die Strecke bedienen.

Petit déjeuner avec fruits du jardin et autres, croissant, pain de mie, thé, café, bref très correct. Vue magnifique de la terrasse commune. Parking gratuit (c'est rare par là)...NB: une voiture est très utile vue l'emplacement un peu excentrepar rapport à Sorrente. Pas de tevision, mais est-ce vraiment un problème ?

- Krause (7/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Schwestern hilfsbereit und liebenswert. Der Blick vom Gemeinschaftsbalkon ist sensationell. Das Frühstück werden Toast und Kuchen leider keine Brötchen, Tomaten, Gurke oder Paprika angeboten. Die Unterkunft liegt 15 Busminuten von Sorrent entfernt. Jede Stunde fährt ein Bus. Die Einzelfahrt kostet 1,30 Euro. Zum Oasi gelangt man über eine steil ansteigende Strasse in ca. 100 m.
- Maria-Gabriella (10/5): Magnifique séjour en famille ! - Le premier contact par mail était déjà très gentil et serviable. Mais sur place l’accueil était en plus extrêmement chaleureux et bienveillant. Ensuite nous avons découvert la vue à couper le souffle : vue sur le golfe de Naples, Sorrente et le Vésuve. Et la mer scintillante. Les chambres sont très confortables et le petit-déjeuner maison excellent. Que demander de plus ? À recommander sans hésiter ! Le seul bémol c’est la circulation dans Sorrente et dans la région environnantes général mais cela ce n’est pas lié au logement. La circulation dans Sorrente et vers Amalfi etc. Mais c’est lié au succès de la région, qui est magnifique.

- Fabricio (10/5): O nome diz tudo: Oásis Senhora da Paz - A casa fica situada a 10 minutos de scooter de Soretano, é geridas por duas freiras extremamente simpáticas e prestativas. O quarto é muito confortável, bem limpo e silencioso. A casa tem um terraço maravilhoso com vista para Sorrento e um pôr do sol fantástico. Acabamos por jantar no terraço nas duas noites que ficamos na casa. Recomendo. Nada a apontar.

- Rachel (10/5): Sweet little spot in Sorrento - What a great little treat in Sorrento! The views were stunning and the nuns were very sweet and helpful. It's up in the hills but there are buses that run past several times a day so it wasn't hard to get around.

- Rachel (9/5): Beautiful unique accommodation with stunning unmissable views over Sorrento and Vesuvius - The location was quiet and peaceful with an incredible balcony view of Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento. On a clear day, we could see the crater at the top of Vesuvius. Lovely to sit on the terrace at night under the starry sky. The staff were lovely and friendly, made us feel very welcome. One particularly great restaurant nearby called Trattoria de Luciano. The room was big and bright, window view was beautiful and aircon worked great. Cakes at breakfast were delicious and staff will also make you some eggs. The amazing view from the terrace alone is worth the stay. The area is very quaint and local so would recommend you hire a car or have some transport to get around. There is a bus into Sorrento or a 30 minute walk via a cobbled stepped path down the hillside. However if you walk you might want to get a taxi back up. The wall between our room and the next room was quite thin so it was possible to hear them watching television or moving around at night time.
- Qian (1/5): very bad, this is the first time I escaped from a hotel. - Location: the hotel is in the deep mountain, and you have to drive there via some difficult mountain road. and 6 Km drive to Sorrento town center. Facilities: you cannot image the room doors are glasses which can be visible from outside, OMG, actually I booked for four nights, when I lived there two nights, I have to leave because I am so scared of there I took photos from room door to see outside and from outside to see room inside. it is very clear to see from the room glasses door. Glasses room door and location and everything I took photos from room door to see outside and from outside to see room inside.

You need to get a bus or taxi from Sorrento shopping area, bus or train stations. It cost 45 euro to get to the accommodation by taxi from the bus station. No shops to buy food close by.

- Howie120 (10/5): Superb holiday retreat as a centre for discovering Sorrento and the Amalfi coast - Out of town location on the mountain side with spectacular views. Easily accessed by bus (choice of 2) from Sorrento Station. If you miss it there's a nice 30 minute walk up (tough) to Priora or down (preferable and slightly quicker) to Sorrento. The sisters were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was more than adequate with a choice of eggs and homemade cakes etc to start your day. Our room was huge, very clean and comfortable - we slept really well. The common areas and garden were beautiful and peaceful, ideal for relaxation.

- Anna (3/5): Not comfortable and very noisy - The location is great, we have stayed in this area before so knew it was outside Sorrento and a good walk into and out of town. The room was very austere, it’s like it has been furnished by someone who has no concept of comfort. The room was adjoining 2 others and there is no sound proofing. The guy one side snored all night and the woman on the other side started talking and singing at 7am on a Sunday. We were booked for 2 nights and only stayed 1 as it was just not a comfortable place to stay
- Demeter (9/5): Perfect panorama with the best orange juice right from the gardens - This my 3rd stay at Oasi Marde della Pace, and I am really glad to had the same warm hospitality of the Sisters that I met during my first visit there. We choosed this place for the uniqe location in the upper area of Sorrento and the unique gardens around the guesthouse. Also, I would like to highlight the nice breakfast and the freshly pressed orange and citrus juice, which were produced from the daily harvested fruits right from the Sorrento hillsides. Although it was early spring, our room on the top floor lacked central heating, and the air conditioning unit did not affect the temperature since it did not have a heating function. As a result, we had to rely on the extra blankets for warmth during our stay. Additionally, I have noticed that this charming yet rurally modest and humble guesthouse has significantly increased its prices over the past three years. My feedback is based on three stays in the same type of room during the early or late season.

Bedroom was large with high ceiling and two big windows. The breakfasts were excellent, with much produce from the large gardens. And the Sisters and staff were lovely and welcoming. It really was an outstanding experience staying there. No negatives.

The access road is narrow, but if you're driving, you’re probably used to it. The breakfast was modest, even by Italian standards. The room was very clean, modern, and nice. I definitely recommend going to Trattoria da Luciano for dinner. An excellent place.

- Erika (6/5): Wonderful accommodation with a BAD manager HEAD NUN! - Great location, breathtaking view , quiet , peaceful. Nice chapel . The younger ,thin NUN was very kind and helpful!! The boss, main NUN was very agressive. Her behavior was hurtful!!! She smiles but NOT sincerely. Her attitude was very unpleasant.
- Julie (7/5): Pleasant stay, lovely staff - Secure on site parking, quiet location, the Sisters who ran the property were lovely and very helpful. The road leading into the property was very very narrow and extremely steep, very hazardous to drive up. The bathroom smelt very strongly of drains which was not very pleasant but this could have been due to the time of year. The most annoying thing was that there was a motion detector on the ceiling in the room which caught every movement and flashed blue every time I moved which for me was very irritating as I am a restless sleeper and it kept me awake most of the night.

- Brigitte (9/5): Superb - Staying in a working convent was a beautiful experience. The nuns were amazing, helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. The view was outstanding! It all added to the experience of staying there.
- Gillian (10/5): 'Peaceful Oasis' is so true - The view, but especially Sorella Anna and Sorella Fanny. Always cheerful, they were fabulous and helped us with pretty well everything. Wonderful people ❤️ We had to leave!!
- Emma (9/5): Recommended - Big room. Nice B&B. Beautiful view from terrace. Breakfast was ok. Aircon good. Working with codes instead of keys, which is nice. Enough room for parking. Steep uphill for a few meters, but doable. Not a lot of noise at all, so that was great. Pillows hard. Room doesn't get fully dark as there are only shutters no dark curtains. Bathroom light went automatically on with the fan which was annoying in the night. Breakfast was a bit simple. Location is 20 minute downhill from centre. 30 minutes uphill (quite steep ajd dark).

- Joseph (10/5): Tranquil getaway from the city center - The breakfast was great. The hotel staff were the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered in Italy. They never hesitated to help. The room was massive and had a very effective AC unit installed. While it didn’t bother us too much because we’re young, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re older or physically challenged. After 7pm there are no busses to the accommodation and you must walk around 45 minutes uphill from the city center.

Always someone on hand if we needed help or advise and it was very relaxed but left to come and go as we pleased with no interference ! Very clean Well we got exactly what was advertised so cannot fault it......

The room was spotless and it was filled with technology to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There was also access to a bit terrace where to dry your clothes Accessing the location was not super easy
- Jun (10/5): Very kind & helpful person in charge - Very helpful person in charge, we were being ignored by few of the bus drivers when traveling to Sorrento train station, very lucky that we able to get help by the hostel person in charge, thanks in million. Apart of this, the place has a very nice garden that plant with flowers and lime, and also the animal farm. Recommended to everyone.
- Valdas (7/5): Authentic Italian holiday experience - The location is a bit away from Sorrento but gives spectacular views, this was a cherry on top of this stay as we were able to see sunsets, dawns and have a glass of wine while discussing about our trip. As you stay with the nuns, they are incredibly warm and kind and helped us with whatever we needed. Also you feel more like a local rather than a tourist while staying here as there is a huge spacious garden, some goats and home birds, so if you are looking for a authentic experience - definitely recommend. Breakfast options can be slightly improved ie more vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, a few more ham/meat options.

- Sandra (8/5): Good enough for your stay and a great place to relax! - The view is astounding! From the terrace, you can see the bay, the sunset, the Vulcan and Pompeii. The room is spacious and the nuns are very accommodating. We had a tour booked and they anticipated the breakfast time for an earlier hour, so that we could eat. The property is away from the Sorrento train station. So, if you don’t have a car and need to rely on public transportation, be aware that the buses are not reliable and they might not stop for you if the bus is already full. There is no handicap access to the place.
