• Nazanin (3/5): Disappointed + exhausted from endless construction noise - It was close to San Marco I paid €850/night during Biennale for a room facing a construction site, noise all day starting at 7am. Has been going for 2yrs and likely another 2 yrs! Before my arrival, I did ask about noise, they said «nice quiet room. » Also I had a room with « canal view» but that really means « view of huge wall with construction scaffolding and if u bend over window, you can get a glimpse of tiny Canal. » honestly, I feel robbed!

Loved the sitting area in the suite where we could watch the gondolas arrive and depart even though it was a little noisy at times. We had asked for single beds before we arrived and this had been arranged on our arrival. The welcome was warm and the staff were very friendly. Excellent communication. One minor issue, the tv was in a fixed position so we couldn’t see it from the beds and we couldn’t get it to work anyway, maybe would have been better placed in the sitting area of the suite.

The location was excellent, in a quiet area yet still very close to all the main attractions, which made getting around the city very easy. All the hotel facilities were great, the room was very clean and comfortable, and everything was well organized. What made our stay even more special was the receptionist, who was extremely positive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She also suggested beautiful places to visit and even gave us a mini guide that helped us enjoy the city to the fullest. Overall, a 10/10 experience – we would definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation.

La suite était spacieuse, les lits confortables, le service de chambre aux petits soins, tout s'est très bien passé ! Voir passer les gondoles en bas de chez nous était très agréable. Dommage qu'on ait eu affaire à des voisins au-dessus plutôt bruyants et sans gènes tard dans la nuit, en marchant fortement sur le sol ! Le respect d'autrui disparaît malheureusement... Je suis sûr que ces personnes n'auraient pas non plus apprécié cela ! Quelques dérangements au passage de bateaux à moteur en pleine nuit mais rien de plus.

• katamanda (8/5): Worth a visit - The hotel is in a fantastic spot. 4 minute walk from the water bus to and from the airport. Blue line is the one to use. Also close to St Marks square and loads of expensive designer shops. The bed and pillows are exceptionally comfy and had an excellent sleep. We were back in the room by 9.30pm after walking all day and there were 2 downsides. That been that there was only a coffee maker and the water didn’t get particularly hot for a tea and the tv didn’t have many English channels and was a fair way from the bed when you need to rest your feet and legs😜. The bath is good for a soak again for legs and feet! If you ask reception for ideas on where to eat they will advise. They told us a lovely restaurant which was lovely. Think it was Aninemo or something like that! Worth a visit.

They had a little coffee machine in the room and a small refrigerator which was nice. I was a little confused about check in. It’s not a typical hotel. You need to ring the bell and staff time is limited. I checked in quite late and felt lucky someone was there to let me in. The shower wasn’t great, but it’s an old building so not unexpected.

Our room had a small balcony overlooking canal and a gondola hub, which was a treat to observe from above. You can hear noise from people in unit above walking around (no voices though).

La pressione dell'acqua delle docce è un pò troppo bassa. Nel Water non era presente la fascetta di sigillo della pulizia.

• Jorge (3/5): Defrauded expectation - I liked the location, the room temperature (in January), the mattress and pillows, and the overall room cleanliness. Even before we arrived, the owner asked us to pay the city's tourist tax, which, if we had accepted, would have given them access to our bank card number. This practice is discouraged by Booking.com for security reasons. We ended up paying this tax in cash upon arrival. The key to access the building and the room is provided by email and works via an electronic link. Once again, the owner has acess to private information to which they should not have access. Finally, the room that was made available to us did not match the photographs on the website. It was too small, on the top floor, and was clearly an exploitation of the roof space, with multiple ceiling levels, as it can be seen from the attached photos. As soon as you opened the door, you almost fell onto the bed. And the windows were very small. The room does not match the "glamour" of the photos of the apartments on the lower floors. The price paid (€350 per night) was too high for the space provided.

• LAURA (10/5): consigliatissimo una bella Corte dietro Piazza San Marco - tutto perfetto a 4 passi da piazza san Marco staff gentilissimo camere confortevoli e calde consigliatissimo per ogni tipo di vacanza niente tutto perfetto
• Mary Jane (7/5): - Location is really good and the staff are all AMAZING! Old rooms, carpet and sofa in the non existent lobby. Very unpleasant “lobby”. I hope they refurbish/renovate since hotel has good potential.
• Inma (10/5): - Hotel espectacular. Muy cómodo, instalaciones súper limpias y bonitas . El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte. Ubicación inmejorable, al lado de San Marco. Repetiría seguro. Me gustó todo
