The extended room was still plenty of room for me and my family for the weekend. 5 stars. Can’t wait to stay there again!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Rude staff - The hotel itself was clean & comfortable but staff was incredibly rude. They literally made rules up, going against what was posted in the pool area, and then continued to contradict what they were saying at the time of saying it. They limit the amount of people in the pool due to covid, which is great, but they don’t set time limits, so if you don't get there at the right time, you may not use the pool at all. They count infants in the number of people allowed in the pool area, & they continuously give nasty looks when walking by or dealing with guests. The heat in the room didn’t work, it only blew cold air all night. We just booked a one night stay with our kids to escape the chaos of the world right now & to bring them some normalcy which ended up just being a joke & more chaos than had we just stayed home. We were at their sister hotel last month with zero issues. We will NOT be back to this hotel, ever again!

We signed up for the pool, we were very thankful for the kitchen (with stovetop, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, dishes, pots and pans, utensils) especially important during COVID, and were able to enjoy the sites around. There was a bagged bagel breakfast each morning and the staff was very accomodating for new towels, toilet paper, etc. Our only complaint is that the walls and floors are very thin, so you could hear people stomp around as hard as possible which gives you quite a fright at night.

When we arrived to our room there was a strong smell of marijuana. We stayed two night and could smell it several times throughout the stay. Underneath the couch that pulled out into a bed you could tell it hadn’t been vacuumed. There was Dirt, wrappers, and food all over the floor under it. The lights that hang over the table were covered in cob webs. We have never been ones to complain but it was a very disappointing stay for us especially where COVID-19 is a big deal right now you would expect it to be spotless and clean. I did take photos of this on my phone.

Our suite seemed recently renovated and it was nice we had the option to cook in. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating w/ Free great breakfast.

The suite doors could have used better door closers though as we can hear doors slamming out in the hallway. The bed was softer than what we used to; otherwise, our one-night stay was ok. The breakfast area where the food was served was quite small - could be quite crowded if everyone showed up for breakfast at the same time. The food selection was minimally sufficient. 6/10

I then proceed to come back and ask for garbage bags since that was done either and more coffee since that wasn't done also. We laugh about saying I should have come downstairs with a list!! But young lady at the desk very helpful and professional and very poligetic. Other than that all was good , room , breakfast and parking. Will come again,

- James (4/5): Was given a room with urine in the heater - I hate to give such a poor rating for just one issue but its a pretty bad one. They gave me a room that they had to have known had urine in the AC/heater unit. They kept turning the AC on and set it down to 70 and that would keep the smell from being too noticeable. Luckily I only needed to stay in the room during the day once. Because when I turned on the heater on my last morning of the stay, the smell was very evident. It's not pleasant to wake up tired and cold, turn on the heater and take a face full of air that smells like a used portable toilet. It's also not pleasant to then realize you've been staying in that room for a week, paying for it out of your own pocket and all they can offer is a simple "sorry, I hope you'll still stay with us again." No guest should be treated that way. I've stayed in hotels all over the world during my 10+ years of business travel and never had this happen to me before. I've heard of it happening in cheap, run-down motels but the reason I paid for a suite in a hotel like this is to ensure I would have a professionally run experience without issues you'd find in an old, run-down motel. Completely unacceptable. I will not stay in one of these hotels again, not for business, not for personal stays.
- Sam (10/5): Close to everything in Bangor, great staff! - We stayed for 13 nights and the entire stay was nearly perfect! Superbly clean rooms, nice saline pool (was very clean most days, a few made our eyes red), and super friendly staff. There are three washers and three driers, coin-op, in the hotel. The hotel is located right off of highway 95, so if you leave your room window open it can be a little noisy. (A comfort to this city girl!) The continental breakfast includes fixings for hot sausage/egg/cheese muffin sandwiches as well as traditional cereal, muffins, toast, etc. Great place to stay!

The front desk staff was universally incredible - amazing customer service. Breakfast was good. What's to complain about?

- Thomas (10/5): - We came up for a eekend of hockey . Loved that there was a pool the kids had a ball. Only downfall was the size of our room. Thought we had a suite with a separate living room with pull out couch. The pull out was in the same room which when it was pulled out for the bed you couldn't get out of our bed on one side which didn't work for us
- Shannon (10/5): Comfortable & Clean Hotel - Lacks Shuttle Service - We booked three hotel rooms with four people per room so we could attend a concert at Cross Insurance Center! The hotel and rooms were amazing and the stay was wonderful! The one downfall is this hotel did not have a shuttle service which would have topped off a great experience to bring us from the concert back to the hotel would have been really helpful!
- Caroline (6/5): Good location, SMALL rooms....not a SUITE - We chose this hotel/location as we were visiting family in Orono. Thought a suite would be a nice way to go, but the rooms were VERY small and cramped. Yes - amenities in the room were adequate (fridge, microwave, sink, dw) but the sitting area and bathroom was tight quarters. Hotel staff was excellent. Continental breakfast in lobby was excellent.

- Samantha (6/5): Not kid friendly - We were having construction work done to our home and decided that a hotel stay would make things easier for our family of 5. With multiple bedrooms and a kitchen area along with an indoor pool, we thought this would be a good fit. Our first morning at breakfast, it became clear that this hotel was geared more to the business professional needing a prolong stay and not geared to families. And during our stay, we did not see one other family there that had children in our family's age group (ages 5 to 10 or younger). On the third night of our stay, approx 9:30 pm, we had a visit from one of the hotel's staff saying that they had received a complaint of noise, specifically thumping, coming from our room. Our youngest child does not do well with new environments and had been up and down out of bed multiple times, so that was the only thing we could attribute the complaint to. With this added stress, we decided to cut our stay short and move back into our house, construction and all. We also booked our room for a family of five and was only left enough towels for 3 people. We had to ask for more towels on a daily basis. If you are a family with young children, our advice would be to look elsewhere, however, for the business professional, would be a great place to stay.
- Leeanne (6/5): Rooms small and cramped. - As a family of 6 we stay in Many 2 bedroom suites when we travel. This one was small and cramped and only had one bathroom which was extremely disappointing. I obviously did a poor job of researching it and just assumed it would have two bathrooms. Would not stay again at the current price point. 6 people for 1 bathroom is ridiculous for a travelling family.

- Verified traveler (10/5): In town for a sporting event - This is a pretty new, modern hotel. The rooms have a full kitchen in them, big fridge, stove top, micro and dishwasher, as well as tons of cupboards. It was cool, but kind of a weird design. The rest of the room was just a normal hotel room, not a suite with separate rooms, which would have made more sense with the kitchen. The beds were super comfy, nice bathroom. Our friends stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites, which really was like a little apartment. Next time, we'll grab one of those. Beautiful! Decent pool, no hot tub. Definitely a good place to stay over all.
