- Charlotte (10/5): A really lovely place - Every detail was very thoughtful. Lots of lovely food for breakfast. Great location, perfect cosy spot for a weekend. Nothing could have been better.
- Yi (9/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): Don't hesitate, you'll not find anything as good. - Our Hosts were exceptional. Delightful people, generous and kind. The breakfast basket was huge, enough for lunches as well! The room was serviced perfectly and the bottle of wine, given as a gift, was really appreciated. Nothing! It was the best B&B we've ever stayed at.
- Penny (10/5): A wonderful stay thanks to the most thoughtful hosts , George &See! - The beautiful gardens , the generous breakfast offerings, the immaculately clean and beautifully
Presented ‘Maid’s Room ‘& the Spa bath ! Nothing !
- Deb (9/5): A relaxing and private hideaway for a weekend break in nature. - I loved the quirky converted stable with the mezzanine bedroom.
The location was private and peaceful, the included breakfast was an excellent touch. Struggled with some of the kitchen and household equipment, (heater, coffee machine, and sticky pan) but this did not impact our stay one bit.
- Julie (9/5): - A lovely cosy hideaway in the Blue Mountains. Easy access to bush walks and lookouts over the valleys.
Access to public transport and close to attractions in Katoomba and other sites in the Blue Mountains region. Not a lot of restuarant options in the area, need to drive further afield to find a range of dining out options.
- Kylie (10/5): A wonderful day in a beautiful location. We will be back. - The location was perfect for hiking the beautiful blue mountain trails in the area. The host was wonderful and friendly and very accommodating. There was a beautiful array of breakfast items in the cottage for us which was fabulous. The bed was super comfy.
- Freeman (8/5): -
- Marilyn (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go there again - The host was super pleasant and helpful and cleaned and set up the log fire each day.
Breakfast was excellent as was the provision of an airfryer The kitchen space was very limited and heat lamps in the bathroom would have been good
- DUNCAN (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Blackheath is a great location to stay and secrets hideaway is highly recommended for any hikers or even for a relaxing - Very friendly owner, nice and quiet location close to some great hiking spots.
- Andrea (10/5): - Perfect location, amazing room, the nature was beautiful and their garden was gorgeous. The room was very cozy with a DVD and nice movies, the bed was super comfy, breakfast was delicious and we were very happy and the bathroom and the bathtub were super nice. One of the coziest/ charming places I have ever stayed.
- Colin (9/5): Wonderful - The owners were great. They were very helpful. Nothing was a problem.. The place was spotless with attention to detail. Loved the breakfast. It was for me very relaxing place. Quiet and peaceful at night. Good for a single traveller. It had all the I needed. Very Happy. No.
- Steve (9/5): Definitely recommended as a base to explore the Blue Mountains. - Our hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful, including checking an issue regarding parking in the local town for us. They also recommended several walks in the area, including one to Wall's Cave, which we followed in the cool morning before breakfast. The garden of the property is very large, filled with interesting plants and features, and a good place for bird-watching. The kitchen area could be improved by the addition of a few more sockets, or failing that a multi-way extension lead.
- Stephanie (10/5): Amazing! - Amazing space and such a cosy accommodation . The host was so nice and friendly Nothing
Was will man mehr ....
- Donna (9/5): Enjoyed our stay very much. Very peaceful and well equipped. - Lovely grounds surrounding the property. Very cosy place. Benches were very low. Not good if you’re a tall person.
- Jeronimo (10/5): - We spent three unforgettable nights at Secrets Hideaway in Blackheath, and everything was perfect from start to finish.
Our private cabin was spotless and inviting, with a jacuzzi large enough for three and a bed so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Every detail was cared for with such thoughtfulness, from the fresh linens to the little touches that made it feel like home. We even had complimentary bicycles to explore the beautiful surroundings and a delicious breakfast provided each morning.
Evenings by the fire stove were pure magic: a glass of wine in hand, the soft crackle of wood, and the stillness of the mountains. The hosts were warm, genuine, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Their love for the place shines through, especially in the stunning garden they nurture with such care.
Just five minutes by car from the train station, it’s close to everything yet wonderfully peaceful.
For its comfort, charm, and value, Secrets Hideaway is a true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return. Nothing. It was perfect

The kitchen had everything you needed including an electricc frying pan, cooking oil, paper towel, napkins etc
The spa bath was lovely complete with bubble bath, robes, slippers. We loved the fireplace as well. The cottage is close to Evans lookout and a short drive to Blackheath. The hosts are absolutely wonderful, See showed me around on arrival. The suite was immaculate, clean and tidy, and with plenty of comforts that made the entire stay that much more enjoyable! I was treated to breakfast supplies including fresh bread, in a wonderfully thought out kitchenette with pretty much any implement you could want (including multiple ways to make coffee).
The entire place was so comfy and cozy, this would be a perfect couples getaway spot - particularly in the winter time with the roaring fireplace (with plenty of additional firewood) and serene atmosphere.
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional - The unit was exceptionally clean, great surroundings and See was so friendly
- Farah (10/5): Amazing private cabin with great hospitality - The owner was in touch with me ahead of the stay to check on the dietary requirement, bread preference etc. The fact that its very personalized touch is amazing.
Its private yet safe as youre in the big compound together with the owner makes it less scary in a way, not too secluded for safety reasons. I stayed at Chauffer cabin (there are 3 types to choose from).
The bed warmer works wonder, along with the woodfire in the bedroom really makes the cottage feeling enhanced. The bedroom is separated from the dining/cooking area and you can isolate that by closing the room door.
I actually am planning to come back and will be staying at the same cabin again. nothing really, i regret not staying longer!

Everything that the beautiful Blue Mountains has to offer was right at your finger tips. Thank you See for being such a gracious and lovely host. I'm a huge fan of king size beds with plenty of room to kick out your feet. However you can't have it all, and the size of the fabulous spa bath made up for it!

- Clair (10/5): Highly Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - See was a lovely host and gave us some good recommendations for places to dine. The property is in a quiet location and a short distance into town.
Visiting in the middle of winter, it was fantastic to have the fireplace. See restocked the firewood and set the fireplace ready to use daily.
We were given a daily breakfast basket with a good assortment of options (cereal, homemade bread, bacon, sausage, eggs, and mushrooms for a traditional English breakfast). Nothing we didn't like. Would highly recommend.

Just a short drive away from Evan's Lookout and a short walk away from nearby bushwalking tracks, this is really a nice spot.
The breakfast provisions were honestly very generous and more than we could've asked for, the lovely hosts even catered for my dietary requirements so that was a bonus.
The spa bath was too good haha, really relaxing.
The fireplace was perfect for our time there as it's getting colder and set the mood for cosiness, plus there was always enough firewood and kindling and whatnot.
The hospitality of the hosts is impressive in that their welcome and goodbye was felt through notes of thanks for our time there. Nothing we can think of that could be better.

- Yolanda (9/5): Perfect place for a quiet relaxing get away. - Great location with pretty garden and the loft room really cozy. Loved the fireplace but it needs some maintenance like rubber seals etc to control the flames.
- Ann (10/5): Blissful and cosy. - The grounds of the property was beautiful and very peaceful. The cottage we stayed in was cosy and very comfortable and the wood fire was the perfect touch for this time of the year. The breakfast supplied was generous and hearty and there was absolutely nothing we could have wanted for.
The hosts, See & George were lovely & welcoming and if Secrets is available when we next plan to visit the BM, then that would be our choice of accommodation.
- Jenny (10/5): A very relaxing stay with lots of yummy food provided, even home made bread (with choice). - The provision of so much wonderful food was a delight and above and beyond. It was replenished frequently. We were made to feel very much at home and often used the outdoors communal seating to relax and read. The spa bath was divine. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable break. It was a little snug in the bedroom as the space was quite small. A bit difficult to get around the bed.

- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Lovely host looked after us very well Couldn't really watch TV from bed in this loft room
- Deanne (10/5): Fabulous Easter weekend away. - The atmosphere of the property was old world charm. All of the little touches like the Easter chocolate and hot cross buns were lovely. The breakfast hamper had so much food and freshly made bread.. The fire was set for us and our every wish was catered for. The only thing was that the bed was a little hard for our liking. But that's just a personal preference.
- Carol (10/5): Perfect hideaway - Fantastic accommodation and Facilities. Excellent host. Highly recommended Nothing
- Kelsie (10/5): A cozy retreat, for a weekend escape - The Accommodation ticked all the boxes for our weekend getaway. Beautifully presented and had everything you needed.
The service was fantastic and the information we received before hand was comprehensive, so if you never been to the area before you would know what to look for.
The Breakfast supplies and cooking facilities where super convenient and fresh.
Highly recommend this property for a weekend escape.
