Thanks Lyn & peter. There was nothing I didnt like, the place was perfect.

Beautiful rural setting, with lovely gardens & views, Undercover parking, fireplace, spa & massive room. Air conditioning, sunny verandah to sit on. Hosts offered to light fire before you arrive, which was lovely & appreciated. Wi fi & mobile reception dropping out multiple times/hour. TV remote very difficult to use without instructions

- Rosalie (9/5): The stay was luxurious, comfortable, scenic, relaxing and enjoyable. - The room and view were amazing. Gorgeous decor, lovely ambience, we loved the breakfast. No running water in kitchenette, or rubbish bin. This means you must go into the bathroom.

We would stay here again.

- Kathleen (9/5): Step into Luxurious Old World Style. - Beautiful expansive country setting, spacious lavish old world rooms with spa baths, aircon and private garden courtyard outlook. Greetings from very friendly dog and, the friend caretaking for the hosts. She made a lovely breakfast for me in the breakfast room also. Would really have loved to have had dinner available at the lodge and the option to eat breakfast in my room or courtyard, but in saying that there are places available.
Didn't have time to savour the experience unfortunately. Looking forward to coming back when I have more time to use all the facilities, take a tour, and really enjoy the experience.

- Kay (10/5): Perfect getaway to rest and recharge. - The location was perfect for a peaceful get away with only country sounds to enjoy. The breakfast was delicious with many options to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Peter and Lyn have thought of everything to ensure the stay is luxurious. Not applicable
- John (7/5): Enjoyable but the property is showing it’s age in some areas. - Nice rural setting The entrance from New England highway was very dangerous at night. The speed limit at the entrance to the premises was 110 kph and many semi trailers were literally meters from our rear and it was near impossible to recognise any entry to the property. Strongly suggest bright lights be installed at the driveway where to highlight the driveway. There is no street (highway) lighting whatsoever and it is a very intimidating experience.
- Bonita (9/5): -

We were greeted with a warm welcoming smile from Lyn and shown our luxury accommodation. The room was very spacious and had all the luxurious facilities, plus a private garden through French doors was a delight. Breakfast was served by Peter and was excellent with a large selection of condiments for you cereal and toast, such goodies as blueberries, strawberries yogurt and avocado and a great selection of jams. - Dizzy (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable rooms and surrounds, and nice and quiet for a great night sleep! - The property and room were just beautiful. Can watch TV from the spa bath! It was more like a self contained apartment. Everything we needed was there, and we slept very well. Beautifully appointed, and lots of horses and kangaroos around the property. Breakfast was continental, and was enough for our needs. Many choices of home made preserves, breads, and cereals.
Gail was very friendly and accomodating, and any requests were fulfilled. Wifi hardly reached the back rooms, meaning netflix streaming buffered a lot... we gave up in the end and used our own data via mobile connection - this is the only thing we recommend that they address, for future guests. Microwave oven wa not standard, but Gail found one for us, to fulfil our requests - would be great if this was standard too, but it didnt affect our stay.
- Jillian (9/5): Superb - Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and had free reign outside. The accommodation was excellent, very large and very comfortable. Little extras were appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, a range of fruits, cereals and yoghurt. Very friendly and helpful host Nothing
- Yiqiao (9/5): Superb - Super clean, quiet, beautiful landscaping, stunning view and nice atmosphere. Entrance is located on the side of the national highway. Be careful if you arrive when the traffic is busy.
- Cecileh (8/5): Big rooms - Big room for 3 people. If the mattresses were thicker and softer I would have given it a higher rating.
- Kristia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siebert (10/5): Exceptional - The place was absolutely immaculate and I could not fault this place. The lovely lady who welcomed us on arrival. Very quiet peaceful location. Was amazing!

The day of our arrival we had a family issue and Lyn was obliging in helping us. The idea of each room having its own private garden which was lovely. Nothing

- Louise (10/5): We will be back. - Strathearn is the Premier B&B in the Upper Hunter Valley, Quality Accomodation, Decor ,Atmosphere , Willy Wagtails, Finches in the Gardens , great outlook, great location .The host and staff are top of the tree. N/A
- Derek (10/5): Excellent service and accommodation - Superb facilities with every detail thought about. I travel all over the world and this is among the best. Last night I thought the only thing missing was a small decanter of sherry. This morning I saw that it was on the mantelpiece in an antique decanter. A perfect example of their attention to detail and guest comfort. Nothing. All was excellent.
- Clare (8/5): We had a beautiful rest in our very big room and enjoyed a swim in the pool too xx - I liked that each very generous room had a semi-private garden (the nice little dog of the house came round for a a look in!) It’s not a dislike thing, absolutely fair and we knew in advance, but the very nice owners don’t do dinners or cooked breakfasts any more, so reading past reviews is misleading. You can get deliveries from Scone I believe - we had a dinner we brought with us xx
- Sofia (8/5): Peaceful B&B lovely large personal space - Lovely building and gardens
The weather didn’t do me any favours!
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): - Gorgeous views and quiet location. Great facilities
- Adele (10/5): Wonderful weekend in a luxury accommodation in a quiet relaxing beautiful place in the Upper Hunter Valley! - This place has been such a beautiful and luxury escape for us from Sydney. The decor the amenities the position and the cleanliness and the amazing food at breakfast!

- Rene (10/5): - The Lodge is beautiful, set in a majestic Australian landscape, rolling green hills, beautiful gardens, tree lined backdrop, livestock and native animals. The area was still and quiet the whole night and morning.
A fabulous place to rest on a long journey.

- Donnie (7/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable. Wonderful getaway! - The property was beautiful, the room was very spacious and comfortable and the hosts were welcoming and accomodating. Couldn’t fault them at all. The water pressure in our room was very poor meaning the shower was almost unusable. The coffee plunger in our room had not been cleaned out.
- Tomasi (9/5): Superb - Every thing Nil
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy house, with specious rooms, very friendly Lyn and Peter! We loved fireplace and jacuzzi)
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (8/5): Very good - The view was amazing. The pull out bed
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Superb Accommodation - Everything-beautiful big room tastefully decorated with wonderful open fire. Breakfast was superb with locally made jams and great atmosphere looking out to surrounding fields with horses and kangaroos. Only one slight disadvantage was the strength /width of the shower head - it wasn’t generous enough and I was a little cold while showering. However I would definitely stay at the property again . I loved it!
- Lee (9/5): Cosey, comfortable and quiet. - The fire, the views, the garden, the staff, the breakfast.
- Kristy (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional - Amazingly beautiful accommodation. Incredibly helpful and friendly hosts
