Included a great hot breakfast in the price which was a nice addition. Couch was worn and stained but everything else was fresh and clean.

- Di (3/5): Beautiful outlook but not value for money - The location was gorgeous looking out over Lake Jindabyne. The bed was comfortable and the room a reasonable size although the bunk beds did take up a lot of usable space. The room rate included breakfast which certainly wasn't a reason to stay it was average at best. The food in the hotel at night was really tasty. It was incredibly busy and the staff were really under pressure. Surprisingly it was not too noisy in our room which was right near the outside area of the bar. The property was really old and it showed. Apart from the bathroom which appears to have been recently renovated the room was very tired. I don't understand the concept of having a handbasin the main room and not the bathroom. There were no bedside tables which was annoying as there really was no room for them. If this wasn't in Lake Jindabyne we would not have paid the money we had to for this type of accommodation.

You can hear almost everything what people in next room are talking as well as anyone talking outside. it was so hard to sleep due to people next door watching TV until late. Breakfast was also below expectation, not many choices.

I complained to the office only to be told by the staff member that the room next to me was a 'Dog Friendly' room. Be warned check that you are not located near of dog friendly room. No assigned parking spaces, which was annoying, as I came late from work each night and would find my parking spot taken by someone else.

Modest breakfast included Renovations underway meant we couldn’t enjoy the bar balcony / lake view, a big part of the stay. I specifically booked a lakeside room to enjoy an uninterrupted view of the lake. The venue upgraded us without consultation or choice at check-in. I am sure they meant well, and the room itself was beautiful and had an expansive lake view. But it looked over the carpark and other rooms. There were people going in and out at all hours which was very disappointing. Also, the loft bedroom format meant my husband had to go up and down the stairs during the night several times to use the loo. He has a bad knee so that was annoying. Grateful for the upgrade but they should have checked with me first.

The bathrooms were clean and modern. The room was large. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We couldn’t caste to the tv and Kayo wasn’t an option on it so couldn’t watch the F1 or the AFL. Front door was bowed and rotten at the lock, but did lock ok. Cold air came in under the door.

The bathroom was weirdly split between toilet and shower on either side of the door. The internet only key access was a bit nerve wracking as it took a while to unlock.
