I was woken up at 7:30 by my building shaking from them jackhammering concrete attached to the building I was staying in. I woke up to what I thought might be an earthquake it was so bad. I hate that I spent good money to stay in a construction zone especially not knowing what I was getting into before my stay. I feel they should have notified people and rooms should have been significantly cheaper than they were.

Leland (10/5): - I like how we had a very spacious room and we were back in the corner and close to the door to get in real quick. It just seemed like we could hear everything from the hallway and from outside. We were next to a busy street, and cars were traveling by a lot and very loud as well.

Q1435SBandreaf (6/5): Go for the pillows and pool, not the breakfast - Front desk staff was absolutely great - both the evening and day shifts. Hotel rooms are nicely updated - suites are large and great setup. Water pressure in shower was good. Pillows were awesome. Sofa bed mattress is thin. Sound carries a lot, but we used a white noise app on our phone that helped. Pool and hot tub were extremely nice, very clean - lots of lounge chairs (with cushions). Fifteen minutes before checkout, we did have an odd experience where someone came to our door, claimed housekeeping - but they had no cleaning supplies with them and when questioned, stammered that they were making sure we were leaving. Breakfast staff was the most unpleasant I've ever had across multiple hotel chains. With 30 minutes still left (breakfast was only 6-9 am, not later on weekends/holidays like other hotels do), we were told that they were almost closing and wouldn't refresh items like the pancake batter. They were actively cleaning up and oblivious to being in the way of guests still trying to eat. At exactly 9 am, they shut off part of the lights. Another guest's children made a bit of a mess and it was clear the staff was upset (while the guest was still there).

It is dog friendly, clean, and the rooms have a good fan, microwave and mini fridge. The lounge was a great place to hang out in the evening. Friendly staff. Negatives include no hot water in the morning at 8am. The pool area was overwhelmed with children until closing, and the Sunday breakfast was meh hot choices with limited hours closing 9am.

Nick and Misty (7/5): Love the space, needs comfort improvement. - It was a good sized place, and the room was large, which is what we really wanted. The shower was large, and we liked the extra space we got. It's hard to go to a hotel room most times because most of the time it is too small and uncomfortable to sit and watch TV. This room allowed us to spread out and didn't make us feel like we were trying to sit on top of one another. The couch made it easy to watch TV. We really enjoyed the space that was available. The best were super uncomfortable. It's hard enough to sleep away from your house anyways, but when the beds feel like you are sleeping on the floor, it's difficult to enjoy your stay. We had our two kids with us and our eldest son said that he could feel the springs in the pull out couch in his back. That means that these mattresses are way too old and need to be replaced. All of us ended up waking up each morning with an aching back, and that is not what you want or need when you are staying away from home. When you stay at a hotel you want to feel like you are in a home away from home, not wishing you were back home.

cynthiadF8585DG (8/5): Nice Place in a Beautiful Setting - Room 102 is an ADA room with roll-in shower. It is very large and comfortable, with sofa, easy chair, and desk with chair. We stayed here twice within two weeks and the only comment on the room is that the windows needed a good wash. I did a load of laundry, and while the price on the machines was reasonable, the machines themselves were old and needed replacing. The washer I used was very unlevel and out of balance.There should be more ice and vending machines for such a spread out property. The sidewalks are in various stages of crumbling and broken concrete. The areas around the ADA parking spots were especially treacherous. There is a new hostelry being constructed next door, and the BW will lose business to them if they don't do some needed repairs in the laundry and sidewalks.

Verified traveler (6/5): Probably wouldn't stay again - Room was not impressive, bathroom super small. Not real clean. No daily housekeeping unless you schedule it. Breakfast was just ok. Pool smelled clean qnd didn't have overly chlorine smell. But when the kids walked around it you could see a film of algae on the bottom of the pool.

The air conditioning unit in our room sounded like a 747 and would kick on every couple of minutes and run for a few more minutes before shutting off. This went on throughout the night. We could’ve turned it off, but then our room would’ve become very warm and stuffy. There may be something wrong with the thermostat. We had to call the front desk to come and get it to turn on for us before going to bed. Queen size bed was small and the comforter and sheets didn’t feel like they were made for the bed. The comforter kept falling off the bed. The mattress was older and not very comfortable. It felt like there were actual bedsprings poking into our back and hips. It’s obvious that the hotel is making gradual improvements to their property. The young lady who greeted us at check in was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, super helpful, and very kind. She made us feel welcome. She needs to be given a raise.

Michael (8/5): - Ultimately great for a night or two. Unfinished and what looks abandoned Hotel next door very unsightly. Inconvenient stairs and hill but Friendly staff.

Kathy (8/5): It served its purpose - Location, friendly and welcoming front desk staff.comfortable and clean. Is in need of some maintenance and updating. Showing its age. Ice machine not working in our area.
JoAnn (8/5): - I'm a 76 year old woman, and I had to carry my suitcases up and down stairs. No elevator. I requested a first floor room but was told none were available. The room and bed were very comfortable. Nice bar with good food. Good breakfast.

Charles (10/5): - The hotel was showing a little age. The railing for the interior stairs seemed loose. Overall a nice place. The beds weee comfortable. The staff friendly. Parking lot is large enough to handle trailers. There is an Applebees restaurant within a few minutes walk.
Carissa (2/5): The absolute worst - Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in 15 years. The beds were like laying on bare springs and the fold out couch even worse- the mattress on it was 2 inches thick. My son opted to sleep on the floor- but it was wet from the fridge that was leaking. After that, he decided to sleep on our boat because it was more comfortable. The only source of AC was a fan that was incredibly loud. We had the choice of a loud fan that sounded like there was paper in it or, laying awake because it was 80 degrees and stuffy with it off. Needless to say, no one slept and we checked out early.
Victoria (6/5): Wasn’t a bad stay,but housekeeping needs do better - Housekeeping needs to do a better job of actually cleaning these rooms! Crap on the light switch and bathroom door,hair in the bathtub and on the floor still, toliet paper on the floor,etc. bathroom was gross didn’t look like was cleaned well at all. Check in was really good, front desk staff was super sweet and helpful. Breakfast was good and staff were super nice and helpful. Check out was pretty easy as well. Very close if you want to walk to the gas station for something to drink or a late night snack.
David (6/5): - The A/C constantly turned off and on with a loud clicking noise that woke me up all night. The fridge froze all of my food and drinks and I had to throw it all away.

Christine (9/5): Superb - Fantastic room, almost like a mini apartment. Sofa bed was in a separate "nook" and allowed my teenager some privacy. Shower was amazing, the shower head was very high which fit my 6'8" son perfectly. The provided toiletries were high quality. Breakfast was great, lots of options for everyone including a yogurt dispenser machine! Definitely worth the stay! The shower curtain was too short for the tub, so some water got on the floor and the bathroom door didn't lock. Both were very minor inconveniences.
larryk862 (10/5): An almost perfect experience - Everything was perfect including the nice young woman who greeted us at the front desk when we checked in. Her name is Chance. The room was spotless. The ONLY thing that was distasteful and disturbing was the religious propaganda that was on display at the front desk. A religious group was staying at the hotel and apparently they require the hotel to display their propaganda while they are staying there. It creates a creepy vibe. A hotel should be free of religion and politics.
Douglas (8/5): - Perfect for family of 5 with dogs. Pool room had a weird smell. Overall for the price not a bad hotel.
Amber (6/5): - The room was not vacuumed and the toilet does not get properly clean. It’s really gross inside and the beds are very hard. Not soft at all.

K1419SFpaulam (10/5): Great place to stay - Easy to get to. Very clean .Room was a good size and the bed and pillows comfortable. The pool was a n8ce size. Breakfast was good and hot which had a variety of items, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, breads, cereal, yogurt with toppings and coffee and juice.
Christopher (10/5): - For the price and location, this is an excellent value. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfy and the room was clean.
