The staff I thank because i was that tired from my trip, She took me to my room,gave me bottles of water to which I was grateful for,told me where everything thing was. Then I went off to sleep exhursted from my trip. They were even concerned if I was ok and how did I slept. Im wanting to go back to this place I Had every thing that I needed for my stay. kitchen,laundry, study room and a tv room so you can go and relax.its not high end class Motel but! Very clean& the Staff make it nice for you by they way they welcome you to the motel.They are all very kind & Sociable Staff some thing rare to find in these place’s. Congratulations to all the staff.It was hard getting in here to stay as it’s on demand.But I’m very glad I found this place online, for my stay as the room was reasonably quiet for my needs.Im looking forward to go and stay there again soon. - M (4/5): - The room wasn’t cleaned and no storage for my bags. Very bad wifi signal in my room and I told them but they didn’t care, just said No it’s working. It was some kind of beetles in the room as well and bed sheet, pillows wasn’t changed.

The only downside is my room had constant cigarette smoke sipping in from the corridors at night, probably because it was near the common outdoor area where you could smoke. I had to block the space under the door with some materials to get some descent sleep.

Room wasn't the cleanest but I was allowed to check in earlier than usual so it could be that the preparations were rushed; it wasn't a deal breaker anyway and the room was adequate for a rest post after a day out. Overall, the place provided a comfortable stay.
- Sistermay (8/5): Good Budget Accommodation - Pro - spacious room, clean, fridge, good wifi, close to buses and about 20 minutes walk to train. Lots of restaurants and Westfield Shopping Centre Burwood close by. Cons - rather stuffy room, noise, only 1 power point in room, no replacement toiletries except first day when check in. No clothes hangers. We picked this hostel because it suits my budget and I only need a clean and safe place to sleep. The size of the room is spacious and the large desk is a nice touch. We stayed on ground level and our window is next to the swimming pool and the outdoor BBQ area so we never lift our curtain or tried to open our window. When people gathered there for party at night you can expect some noise but their smokes do get into the room so if you are allergic to cigarette smoke be aware. We have an ensuite room and the bathroom is small but adequate. Would recommend them to put a shelf in bathroom for personal toiletries etc. No clothes hangers and cups either. Bring your own toiletries as they only give you one set upon check in no matter how many nights you stay unless you don't mind asking for more each night. Communal kitchen is large and functional so you can cook your meals if you want to save money. Bus stops are only 1 or 2 min walk so talk the bus to the Shopping Centre and the train station as walking is quite far (takes 20 mins) and not recommended in hot weather. Heaps of restaurants to suit different budgets once you get to the Burwood station precinct.
- TEK (8/5): Great Student Accommodation - Was good in general. Loud argument Saturday in stairway near our room, but it quietened down after awhile. Quick check in and free parking in car park adjacent to premises.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Still great value - Over the years I have stayed the only disappointing factors is a lack of on going basic maintaince eg a large number of showers have broken heads and only hot or cold running water. Lots of concrete cancer showing in walls. Pool is no longer the sparkling pool it used to be. I was really put off this time by the harsh manner of who seemed to be the regular duty manager. One night he was repeatedly yelling foul language at a female customer. Get the fxxx etc, if he had problems I sure he didn't need to yell this type of language waking guests in adjoining rooms. I think it was the same guest he was dining with earlier so maybe Management needs to set boundaries more clearly between staff & guests.
- Pauline (8/5): Inexpensive good value accommodation - Arrived late at night but a member of staff was on call and arrived within seconds to let us into our room. Some remedial painting work going on but the staff left a complimentary mini hamper in our room to apologise for the inconvenience which was a very nice touch. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable and the accommodation was within 10 minutes walk of a good range of shops and restaurants. The train station was about 15 minutes walk with an extremely good and cheap service into Sydney and the surrounding areas with the use of an Opal card available at many shops in the area. We thoroughy enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

- MICHELLE (10/5): Clean and friendly accommodation - The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Being student accommodation, I was expecting it to be loud Friday and Saturday night but was pleasantly surprised. Overall I would stay again the only problem is that with all the good reviews, when I need to stay they are booked out!!!!!

Quiet suburban location, 15 min walk to Burwood shopping centre and Strathfield train station. It's student accommodation, so expect a little noise from the hallway but it wasn't too bad for me.

It is quite far away from train station if you carry heavy luggage and please note the accommodation is situated a bit up a gentle slope. Our most upset experience could be the conflict with students living there. The wall is quite thin. One night, next door student came to complain our noise. We then lower our voice to talk but very soon, she knocked our door again. She was very impolite and complained she could still hear us talking. We did not expect to live in this student accommodation without talking or we needed to whisper! It was not our fault to make the wall so thin!
- Andrew A (8/5): Better Value you will not find - Closer to a 3star hotel than a hostel. Great location less than ten minutes from train station and easy access to the city. You will not find better value in Sydney. Extremely helpful staff who enabled a very late checkout with no fuss.

- shoma (6/5): Cheap and nice hotel - 値段相応かなと思います。でも、スタッフや住んでる人はとても親切な人が多かったです。良い点は、ショッピングモールが近い、駅まで歩いて15分弱、近くに公園がある、各部屋に冷蔵庫がある(2人で1台)、十分な収納スペースがある、トイレとシャワーも十分な数ある。悪い点は、部屋の空気の流れが悪く、匂いや熱がこもりがちなとこ、ベッドの数に対して部屋が狭い、キッチンの作業スペースが狭い。そんなとこかと、思います。次ジドニーに来たらまた利用しようかなと思います。

He had laundry hang in common area for drying, cat food box n dirty dishes which was never cleaned. On complaint nothing happened. He n his friends were very noisy sometimes in the middle of night. I got sick during my stay. Also ppl smoked outside room so had to close window n it got very hot in room. The positive aspects are kitchen, wifi, location n laundry facilities

There is also a supermarket that is very close, less than a ten minute walk. We spent most of our trip away from the hotel and it's location made it a great place to easily leave and arrive as we pleased. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful from taxi's' to ordering in a meal or giving directions to go out.Helped us with buses and trains to get where we wanted to go. - Christopher (10/5): Cheap Clean accessible accomodation - Needed urgently cheaper accommodation while relative was ill. Booked not knowingwhat to expected shared facilities in a student dorm? Easily located with ample off street parking secured and unsecured. 24hr check n pleasant staff. Shared room but other person hardly there and very pleasant when in room. Very impressed with secure storgae and allocated space in room. Room had A/C TV Fridge etc. The commnial kitchen was kept clean and always sufficient equipment available. Excellent commonroom and large cable TV. ample tables to eat at and again kept clean. also a clean swimming pool small but adequate for a summer dip. Shops nearby ie walking distance and also take away shops. One street off Paramatta Road so if needed public transport handy. Quiet street location so overall excellent value for money
- Pat (4/5): Not as good as i thought - Room was nice but staff who greeted us were unorganised and took us on an unecessary tour. I found a cockroach in the bathroom.

- Anna (6/5): Good for students who are single. - We stayed here for 2 weeks. We liked the place but sometimes it gets too crowded with noisy residents especially on weekends. Instead of enjoying the cool winds we ended up closing our windows all the time to minimize the noise and for the cigarette smoke to not enter our room. But if you dont have problems with second hand smoke, this place is really good.
- Marc (8/5): A few points off being the perfect hostel - Good: Impeccably clean and modern, this hostel is very different from most. Rooms have fridges and TV and are at most 4 share (unlike 8 in some places and as many as 32!). The staff are by and large very good. Very friendly, almost part of the group without blurring the lines. Overall you stay here if you want that feeling of comfort and being settled. I ended up here 4 months due to comparing it in my own mind to other hostels I've stayed in, and none can even compare to the general feeling of privacy/comfort/home you'll get here. Bad: Directly following the above, the lack of socializing can be frustrating at times but that's a result of what the hostel has tried to create with a "quiet" atmosphere (after all they're largely targeting students). It's not completely terrible though and if you want to make friends, you can with a bit of effort. The location for me was very frustrating, you'll need to walk 12-15 mins to Burwood Station to get a 15-25 min train to Central/etc, as opposed to simply walking out of your hostel and being in the city, but it's a compromise I was willing to make. The STAFF: well, mostly they're good hence why I listed it as a plus before, but 1 or 2 leave something to be desired. They do their jobs, but not with any hint of a smile or warmth to the guests, so much so that I (and many others) would purposely wait hours and even days to speak to the different receptionists for assistance.

- Paul (4/5): close to burwood station but too noisy - Great location, Excellent staff, free wifi, very clean and spacious room. But it is too noisy at night even at 2 am in the morning from Korean students. There's no curtain on the window in the bath room. The room has only basic facilities. Overall, it is only for students, not for travelers
- Shea Yuen (10/5): great place to stay - It was a fantastic stay, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The place was also kept clean. The only slight issue was that the door creaks and will slam if one does not close it properly, so if other guests in other rooms are not considerate, it does disturb one's sleep
- Michael (8/5): Good hostel, far from city center. - Not a bad hostel, but it's far from the city center. If you're carrying a big bag it is a hassle getting here, an extra 30 minutes by public transportation from the city center. Otherwise it's not a bad place, it could be super clean like the pictures but my roommate had been living there for a while and it wasn't that clean. Only stayed here for a night but staff was nice and helpful, there is a small pool and a large recreational area. Pretty nice. Since I just stayed for a night it was difficult carrying a heavy bag and trying to see all the city sights without making it back to the room.
