- luc (10/5): Hôtel familial très agréable - Très bon hôtel bien situé sur la plage de haad chao phao. Proximité des commerces et des restaurants. Le personnel est adorable, le bungalow pourtant le moins cher est très propre et confortable. Belle plage devant l'hôtel avec des couchers de soleil magnifiques. La piscine est grande et très agréable. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est varié et de bonne qualité et quel bonheur de déjeuner au bord de l'eau. L'hôtel est très bien entretenu avec une végétation magnifique. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant qui nous a paru un peu cher par rapport aux autres dans le secteur. Dernier point positif le transfert gratuit depuis et vers le port le jour d'arrivée et du départ. Bref je recommande vivement ce petit hôtel familial dans un écrin de verdure face à la mer !

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, large pool with beautiful ocean view. Family room consists of two adjoining rooms, which is very practical although rooms are simple. Breakfast is nice, enough choice and everything fresh. It’s a quiet place, no lively restaurant of bar but next door is a great one and more choice is at walking distance.

- Verified traveler (2/5): AVOID. Awful, run down & dishonest people. - AVOID! Is a dump! I arrived and left immediately. Place was empty apart from one other room yet I was given a room way away from anything along long rotten wooden walkways, no railings. It was dangerous and creepy even in daylight. Manager said it was better to book somewhere else rather offer a solution, she said I would get a full refund. It seemed odd at the time but now they are refusing the refund, so a good way to get paid for nothing, or so they think! I shall challenge this with my credit card company. Non provision of services. Dishonesty also! The Manager even said herself she thought it overpriced. Half the price would still be way too much. Place is tatty, looks nothing like the photos, room was beyond basic, whole place is just rotten wood waiting to collapse. Not a good beach, staff not there all the time, was offered an alternative decrepit bungalow way away from anything also, wasn't really a solution. They aren't even cleaned daily for the over inflated rate?! Hotels.com shouldn't do business with these people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - ホテルの目の前がほぼプライベートビーチで、数件のホテルの宿泊客しかいないため、とても静かでのんびりできました。海は砂地の遠浅でシュノーケリングには不向きですが、カヤックを50バーツ/1h で借りられます。 シュノーケリングには徒歩15分ほどのシークレットビーチに行くと魚が結構見られました。 ホテルの設備は古さを感じさせますが、スタッフがみなさんにこやかでフレンドリーです。部屋の掃除が2日に一度とのことで、気にはなりませんでしたが、お水の補充が忘れられていました。言えばもらえたと思います。タオルはバスタオルをいつでも借りられます。 チェックアウトは12時ですが、サムイ行きのフェリーが16時半だと言うと、スタッフの方からチェックアウトを好きなだけ延ばしていいと言ってくれて、とてもありがたかったです。最終日までしっかり海で遊んでシャワーもしてチェックアウトができました。 のんびりしたい方にはぜひおすすめしたいホテルです。
- FRANCOIS (10/5): Très belle surprise - Quelle belle surprise ! Malgré des avis négatifs , je suis allé dans cet établissement . Nous sommes dans le Nord de l ile ; de ce fait , la majorité des hôtels se trouvent dans des environnements " sauvages " , à la Balinaise .... L hotel est réellement bien situé et la photo est vraie, la piscine est en bord de mer . possibilité de louer snookeling et kayak Les bungalows sont très corrects ( clim , réfrigérateur qui fonctionne, propre et bien agencé, et terrasse suffisamment grande pour apéro pour 10 Personnes) La salle de bain est à la Balinaise , avec eau chaude et fonctionnelle Le personnel est réellement très sympa, souriant , curieux ,rigolo, soucieux de votre bien être, disponible et arrangeant . il propose le petit déjeuner et les repas : tout est super bon ! et à des prix normaux Ils sont copains avec l agence de location de scooters à 40 Mètres ( Hut location très bien) et le 7/11 à 70 Mètres. Pour résumer : très belle adresse avec personnel extra ( et ambiance Balinaise ) . Un super coup de cœur !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hautement recommandable. Ce ressort est constitué de bungalows disséminés dans une petite forets. C'est calme et agréable et frais. Le restaurant est au bord de mer avec une grande piscine mais la mer est à nos pieds il suffit de descendre quelques marches pour être dans l'eau. Tout ici est très propre, calme et avec du personnel des plus agréable, serviable et sympathique. Les bungalows sont grands et tout en bois de qualité et il y a de grandes fenêtres. Idée originale, on peut disposer des crèmes laissées par les touristes précédents cela nous a été fort utile puisque la sécurité de l'aéroport nous avait retiré notre crème solaire. Pour profiter de ce paradis, choisissez les sections a ou b, car la section c est trop près de la route.

- Larissa (8/5): Simple on the beach - Really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cove. It’s quite basic and simple but that’s all we needed when we were spending most of our time out and about on the island. The staff are very helpful and accommodating and organized the driver to pick and drop us off many times which saved us a lot of money in more expensive taxi fares. Overall would reccomend!
- Carolin (10/5): Urlaub im Paradies - Eine super schöne gemütliche Anlage. Die einzelnen Zimmer sind schön angelegt und ruhig. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der infinity Pool wird die ganze Zeit von Blättern und dreck befreit. Man hat einen super Blick vom Pool ins Meer.

Great place on the beach to relax or pick up a scooter to explore the island from. You won't regret booking here... we will be back!
- Anika und Anja (8/5): Bungalow mit Dschungelfeeling - Wir haben fünf Tage im Sunset Cove verbracht und konnten dort nach dem Reisen sehr gut entspannen. Die Bungalows liegen in einem kleinen Gartenparadies und sind auf Holzstegen gebaut. Innen ist es sehr geräumig, besonders das Bad, das gemütliche Bett und die Aussendusche haben uns gut gefallen. Die Bungalows könnten eine kleine Renovierung vertragen. Wahnsinnig toll war der große Infinitypool und das leckere Frühstück. Die Besitzer waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab eine Bücherausleihe, DVDs und viele Tipps für Ausflüge.

Minpuntjes: 's avonds is er geen bar, er is weinig keus wat betreft alcoholische dranken. Verschillende onderdelen van het resort zijn aan vervanging toe. Al met al een heerlijk verblijf
- Verified traveler (4/5): überteuert und heruntergekommen - Wir haben uns ein Beach View Bungalow (das teuerste - auch des gesamten Urlaubs) gemietet und mussten leider feststellen, dass die Anlage nicht naturbelassen sondern einfach heruntergekommen war. Die Palme, die sich so wunderbar auf den Fotos zum Wasser hin Strecke, ist tot, komplett angefressen und hat keine Blätter mehr. Im Pool ist so wenig Wasser drin, dass es nicht mal den obersten Rand erreicht, damit er sich selbst reinigen kann - dementsprechend schwimmt ständig Ungeziefer und Blätter im Wasser. Im Raum selbst hingen überall so kleine Würmchen an der Wand und an einem Tag hatten wir einen Haufen auf unserem Bettkissen, welches bei der Rezeption anscheinend nur widerwillig ausgetauscht wurde. Die "tolle Holzwanne" die man auf den Fotos sieht ist ebenfalls komplett alt und lädt definitiv nicht ein, sich da reinzusetzen. Vor allem, da man nie durchgängig heissen Wasser bekommen hat. Und die "Regendusche" haben wir erst überhaupt nicht genutzt, da sie viel zu heruntergekommen war. Schwimmen kann man auch nicht wirklich im Meer, da man erst einmal 300 Meter über seichtes Wasser bis zu einem ansatzweise tiefen Bereich laufen musste.

Staff are very friendly and provided free transfers. Food was cheap and tasty. Only thing to add was the rooms need updating but we spent most of our time by pool!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Rustic resort - This place was heavenly and right on the beach. Friendly staff, clean surrounds beautiful and lush with plants. The pool was overlooking the ocean and all along the short stroll on the beach are a number of delicious food bars to eat at. Also, yoga daily down near the pirate bar.

Die Zimmer sind in kleinen Bungalows die mit mit einem Bad im Freien ausgestattet sind. Die Ausstattung ist nicht mehr die Neuste, aber es ist sauber und die Betten gemütlich. Zu Fuß ist direkt ein Rollerverleih zu erreichen und nach Tong Sala sind es auch nur 15-20 Minuten

The view from the front side is heaven on earth! The safe is very tiny, can not put a laptop, not even an ipad.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - 1. In this hotel they're cleaning the rooms every two days. Not enough! 2. They don't put toilet paper in the room. You need to get it from the lobby. 3. There is no face towels in the room. 4. The Wi-Fi connection is very bad. 5. There is a bug's problem all over the hotel (ant's, fly's, mosquito's) 6. In the room the television is separate from the bed room and there is no air-condition where the television is. 7. The knowledge in English by the hotel stuff is very poor.

- ryan (4/5): No thank you - We arrived at the ferry terminal right as the hotel shuttle was picking up another couple! We informed the driver we too were staying at the sunset cove! The driver made a call back to the resort to confirm! No one answered so I tried show him my confirmation e-mail he did not want to be bothered in fact was extremely rude and told us to take a taxi! So we payed a taxi to take us and arrived at the resort the same time as the other couple only difference was they got a free ride and we payed! When I explained our experience to reception they gave us blank stares followed by an insincere apology! I would not recommend this place to anyone as for the price there are much cleaner more well kept friendlier places on koh phangan! Reason for an extra star is that it was right on the beach and one staff member that worked in the restaurant gave great service with a smile!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Fabulous pool and view - Lovely stay at the Sunset Cove for one night. Staff was lovely, breakfast was also nice. We stayed in the basic room which was clean and comfortable. The best asset of his hotel is the pool and view! Would stay here again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay in Ko Pha Ngan! - Beautiful views, great pool, delicious food and wonderful staff. The only things we didn't like: American breakfast instead of Thai (eggs and pancakes) and the rooms could have been a bit cleaner and cozier. These drawbacks were small in comparison to the positive qualities of this hotel. Definitely recommend to young couples traveling through the islands!
- Stuart (8/5): Fantastic staff & lovely location - room needs TLC - Excellent location, with picturesque cove beach. Very tranquil and relaxing part of the island. Staff at hotel were fantastic, and always ready to help with a massive smile! Lovely pool overlooking the sea. Room was OK given the price paid, but could do with a refurb - AC didn't work too well, and semi-outside bathroom wasn't in the best condition. Better rooms available next to pool for a little bit extra which I would recommend.

- shachar (10/5): Paradise - The hotel is a bit old and the rooms aren't spotless but the overall feeling is perfect. The rooms are engulfed in a lot of green plants and tress and the pool area which is just on the beach makes for both a great place to spend your day an for a breathtaking view. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and even though the hotel is a bit far from everything, you still have plenty of restaurants and activity in the vicinity.
- Paul (8/5): a little out the way but very nice - Staff very friendly, breakfast is good. Rooms are nice, didn't expect an outside shower and toilet but got used to it and was kind of nice. Cleaners only clean every 2 days and not very well. Bed etc was done ok but no new glasses and old rag left on our just cleaned washing. Did not expect so many children either and all the way from Germany!
