The staff was the best part. The young woman who worked at the front desk most of my visit was excellent. She was super pleasant, personable, helpful and kind. Not enough drawers in the room. Actually, no drawers! You need at least one dresser in there. The refrig was under the bathroom sink which was oddly placed. I didn't even see it until the second day! Also being next to a "Gentlemen's Club" was not the greatest.

- mcaenriquez168 (4/5): Aloof at Aloft: Not the Stay I expected. - My stay at Aloft Denver Downtown was from January 27 - 29 was underwhelming and disappointing mainly due to the front desk experience. I could have done better staying at AC Hotel Denver Downtown which is just across the street! What went well: - Mimie at the front desk, she handled my check in, she was efficient, professional and friendly. She offered drink vouchers for each night. - The bartenders - Dustin and the other lady, they were attentive, friendly and represented the brand very well. - The lobby chocolate chip cookies at check-in were a nice touch. Where things fell apart: - Several front desk staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in guests. No greetings. No eye contact. No acknowledgement when people entered/exited the lobby - and I watched this happen repeatedly. - On the first night, I called the front desk, but no one picked up my call - their line kept ringing. I will give them a pass, maybe they were still checking guests. - On checkout morning, a front desk associate (she had long acrylic nails decorated with a bow) made direct eye contact with me, then immediately turned back to her phone instead of helping. Another staff member stepped in. - The overall professionalism and appearance of the front desk team did not reflect the standards I have come to expect from a Marriott property. For context during the same trip, I stayed at AC Hotel Denver Downtown, SpringHill Suites in Fort Collins and Courtyard by Marriott on 16th Street. All three delivered noticeably better hospitality and guest engagement. Even the hotel's follow - up email address me by name rather than Aloft's generic "Dear Guest". Bottom line: Aloft has a great downtown location, but the service culture needs immediate attention. The lack of hospitality at the front desk overshadowed what could have been a much better stay.

Only one of the 3 front desk people hassled me about my service animal. It’s important for staff to know they can’t do such a thing. Just good to keep everyone on the same page.

The hotel staff was wonderful all around, in particular Dennis, Mimi, and I believe his name is David. They went out of their way to make my birthday celebration special by sending us a bottle of wine and giving us drink coupons for their bar. Their breakfast sandwiches are excellent and included for Titanium members. Our room was super quiet towards the courtyard, the AC was amazing, steamer, free coffee and water, and a perfect location. We will stay at the Aloft when we return to Denver in the future. Thank you!!!

The atmosphere was quiet and super chill not something you find around downtown Denver. What really made the experience amazing was there staff Isabella and Dustin are truly wonderful people. They’re not your average bartenders for a hotel bar. I would highly suggest stopping in and saying hi and enjoy one of their amazing drinks.

I have been here four days and he has taken care of me, my friends when they parked cars and met me for dinner…he was SO helpful and kind and explained everything about the valet when I first arrived. He walked me through parking options and was patient and sweet and I felt like he cared about his customers and the company he served. I have loved every interaction over the time here with him.

David the manager helped us with our checking in troubles. The staff is wonderful Daniel the valet answer all my questions with where to park ,and Bernadette helped us with our check in she had the most amazing energy and easy willing to help. Absolutely the best hotel I’ve stayed at.

- 200fideliaf (10/5): Great and friendly service - My daughter and I stayed for the first time in this hotel. We had a family event and the hotel location was perfectly close for us to move easily to and from the location event. First, we were greatly surprised to find a comfortable, nice, and clean room. The room is totally renovated, and the housekeeping did a good job in keeping the room clean. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were of excellent quality. This is important to me since my daughter has sensitive skin. The room has a small refrigerator. The room doesn't have a microwave,but you can use the one in the first floor by the reception room. We stayed in a room facing the street, and I had read reviews complaining about the noise, so I was expecting to have trouble sleeping. We didn't have this problem. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They made us feel appreciated and comfortable. The hotel has two perfectly working elevators. The halls were clean and quiet. Special mention to the housekeeping manager, Maria. She went above and beyond, making sure we had the items needed in our room. She was very friendly and even suggested to us some restaurants and shops nearby the hotel. We definitely will be back to stay here. We absolutely recommend this hotel not only for its cleanliness and friendly service by its personnel, but for the great location in downtown Denver. It was a perfect stay for us.

Was ridiculously hostile and made excuse after excuse instead of just taking care of the issue. Terribly unprofessional. Avoid this place like the plague.

Conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, concert venues, etc. The only item that could have been improved was the cleanliness/smell of our room. When we walked into our room it still had an odor of the previous person or people who stayed there the night before. Would’ve much preferred a clean smell! Did like the cute live plant in the bathroom! Nice touch :)

- lizd540 (8/5): Last stop on a driving trip from NC to CO - This hotel is comfortable and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit of an out of the way location but for the price, it's fine. Valet parking is available, but ee self-parked in a garage across the street. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our rooms faced the street and we were on a lower floor, so it was a bit noisy. The hotel provides ear plugs. My room had a mini-fridge. I would stay here again.

More lighting would be welcome. Room was clean at check-in. Our room was skipped by housekeeping with no reason. Air conditioner in the room is loud. Mattress was comfortable. If we return we would probably stay elsewhere.

- Culture48784450900 (10/5): Amazing staff, you cannot go wrong with choosing Aloft Denver Downtown. - I had a great time at the Aloft in Downtown Denver. The staff from the front desk to the bar, and especially Lauren at the valet service were absolutely top notch! I tend to stay at Marriott properties whenever I travel and the crew here at this Aloft made my stay feel like I was bunking in with family. To the management at this Aloft, you have a fantastic crew, well done. The bed was very comfy, and the walk in shower was very nice. This Aloft is very close, an easy walk to the convention center, which was the reason for my visit. I have a very large truck (F600) and I was concerned about parking it in downtown Denver, so I called the hotel and spoke to the valet manager a week prior to my arrival. He assurred me that they could accomodate my oversize truck and they did! As an example of how accomodating this Aloft crew is, and how much they actually care about their patrons, during my stay one of the valet staff noticed a puddle of fluid under my truck and actually took the time to call me and bring it to my attention. I hadn't noticed because I was working a trade show, and I am so glad they called and let me know about it. They knew that I was driving all the way back to Illinois at the end of my stay and cared enough to call so I could get it taken care of prior to my departure. Turns out it was just a loose fitting on the pto for my crane and was a simple fix. Thanks again to all of the great staff at the Aloft Denver Downtown!
- Marti (10/5): Better than expected - Location and early check in for Marriott Bonvoy members, I was able to enter the room at 11:00am, which was super helpful after a 4 hours early flight. Nice window to the street with the sunrise sun coming through. Nice room. The main entrance is located in the parking area, I guess this is an american thing. It was not that easy to spot from the street.
- Charles (10/5): All around amazing time! - Was amazing! First night here we enjoyed drinks at the bar, played pool, and bought a chess set to play! We stayed down stairs till almost 1am because we had so much fun! Alex was great with conversation and making drinks. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable prices for drinks too! We stayed in for a movie night in our room and had a great time. Bed is so comfortable and clean. TV is great especially to use Netflix easily. Really have absolutely no complaints about our stay. Staff really does an awesome job here!

- Carolyn (9/5): Great hotel - Location was great for us, short walk to Ball Arena Front desk person wasn’t very so welcoming and friendly Bar was a nice amenity Valet parking too expensive, so we parked across the street at a private parking lot, ended up getting a $85 ticket given the 24 hour parking expired at 6am which wasn’t explicitly shown on signs, wish the hotel would have given us a heads up about this.

That is ridiculous they should know how many they have and how many are booking. They gave me a normal room. Tried to contact them 2 times for refund for the difference of the rooms. I still havent heard back.
