• Panatda (3/5): Bien situé mais vous pouvez mal dormir à cause du bruit - Parking disponible même si peu de place, possibilité de se garer dans les rues à côté Bien situé, pas loin de la plage et restaurant Nous devions avoir une chambre qui n’était pas situé sur la rue, et au moment de prendre les clefs (car il n’y a pas d’accueil, on vous envoie les consignes et à vous de vous débrouiller) il n’ y’avait pas les clefs de ma chambre… Après avoir réussi à joindre Cathy elle finit par nous dire qu’un autre couple a peut être pris notre chambre donc que nous devons prendre leur chambre…. On se retrouve au final avec une chambre situé sur la rue. Je pense que le couple en question a intentionnellement échangé de chambre car ça ne leur plaisait pas. Et résultat nous avons assez mal dormi car il y avait beaucoup de bruit des voitures, les lumières… et aucune action de la part de Cathy qui aurait pu intervenir et faire quelque chose… Literie bof, très mou et pas confortable

• Diana (10/5): - This is a cute lil boutique style place to stay. Location is on orange, near the bay(walkable). We used our e-bikes to get around the island and were able to go everywhere without using our vehicle. (Including beach) Perfect place to stay abd have a lil $ left to have some fun! Brigantine has the best taco Tuesday with swordfish tacos!!! And Poehes has a great happy hour overlooking the bay at San Diego. Enjoy😎
• Anita (10/5): So close to the beach! - So close to the beach and amazing restaurants and shops. Property is super clean and service was fantastic. Finding parking was a bit of an issue but well worth it.

• Brandon (10/5): Cozy, affordable, treated like family. - Fred and the staff are amazing. We stay at least twice a year for a week or so each time. Everytime we come we are treated like family. Fred was so kind to check in with us before we arrived and ensure we were all taken care of upon arrival. Additionally, we were able to receive an Amazon delivery for our 2 month old's formula. El Rancho is very small and cozy, you become a local everytime you stay there. While the hotel does not have the bells and whistles of the larger chains, it is affordable, safe, and close to everything. We always feel like we are staying at our own apartment right on Coronado Island. We always love our vacations to Coronado and only stay at El Rancho. Thank you Fred, Kathy, and everyone that works so hard to make us feel special.

• Kevin (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay and the place was clean. I liked the fact that there was a microwave and a fridge as well as a Keurig in the room and a bottle filler right outside. Check in was easy and the place was very nice overall. There are a couple of things to note for future travelers. 1. Our room was very small. With 2 queen beds and a room under 200sf, it is not ideal for 4 people. It was my fault for not looking at that detail. But definitely check the room SF to make sure it works for your party size. If there were only 2 of us, it would've been just fine! 2. There are lights right outside every window and there are no curtains, just shutters. That meant at 4am, it looked like it was 7am outside. If you like it dark when you sleep, you'd better bring window coverings because lots of light comes in! I would stay there again in a larger room, with some sleep masks for the family!

• Agnes (8/5): It was a convenient location. Room was basic w 2 full beds, mini microwave and mini fridge. - No staff whatsoever but Fred was the person I dealt with through text. He responds right away. The room itself was cozy but plain, nothing extravagant. The location is great, a mile or so from the beach, 3-4 blocks from the local shops, groceries, cafés. There is no stove, just a mini fridge that froze everything and a mini microwave. The convenience was the front desk door was unlocked and we were able to get necessities as we ran out ( trash bags, coffee pods, new towels and cups). It’s a little overpriced but the location kind of makes up for it.
• Ashley (4/5): This place has potential but we wouldn’t stay again especially at the price we paid. - The setup was cute and convenient and it has potential, but it needs updating for the price they charge and our room was not properly cleaned. The fan was caked in dust and so were the ceiling beams and blinds. There was visible stains on the dresser that could’ve been easily wiped off, the towel rack on the bathroom door was hanging by its screws, the shower glass had soap scum on it, shower bottom had a huge crack going down the middle, etc.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and Small Motel, 10 Rooms - Price and cleanliness excellent; no human service but very efficient check in, if you had directions and explanations on i phone or text. Code to open lobby door, and key very visable, so easy to locate room, as only 10. Charming motel with outside seating but no amenities inside. Check out easy, but again, no human contact. One overnight was adequate for convenience and price.

Room was clean and comfortable. Self check in and check out was smooth. I presume there are staff someehere but I never met any!
