Guest Reviews
- Patricia (8/5): - Location We had trouble with the wi-fi but they got it fixed. And the room was very dark. We needed lights on.
- Abrams (4/5): Not worth it. - Sleeping. Everything else
- John (10/5): - Ease of access and was left alone Noisy guests lol
- Krista (7/5): - It was quiet at night. You couldn't hear any traffic. The room was pretty outdated. It was functional.
- Douglas (9/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Very large room, quiet, safe, close to downtown, plenty of parking, nice staff. Well worth the stay! - The two queen bed room we had was very large. There was plenty of room to spread out. There was a separate sink just outside of the bathroom and a large area to hang clothes. The bathroom was clean but needed just a little TLC (caulk missing from around tub spout). The beds were comfortable and the heater worked great. We had neighbors but couldn't hear them at all. The hotel is set back from the road so there was no road noise. The parking lot is huge. We felt very safe there. The room was a little outdated and dark (dark paint, older curtains) and the door locks weren't the best but those things would not stop us from recommending the hotel to others.
- William (10/5): We’ve stayed here multiple times over the last 20 years and it’s always been a great place to stay. - Location, staff, value, cleanliness Nothing
- Deck (10/5): - Clean, quiet, friendly attentive staff. Good value for the price.
- M (7/5): Happy time - Size of the room cleanest plus parking Breakfast
- Pamela (9/5): Pleasant - Convenient Nothing fancy but comfortable
- Pierre (8/5): - Nice big room, good bed That can be very noisy with the roads next to the motel
- Bruce (8/5): Wouldn't stay there again because of no elevator (maybe if we were guaranteed a first-floor room). - Everything seemed fine room-wise once we got there (after a lot of physical excretion). One thing they need is an elevator. They put us on the 2nd floor (we did request a first-floor room, but they were all occupied). We are older and had to haul suitcases up the stairway. Not an easy task! Would not stay there again because of that. From my observation they could add an elevator block at each end of the building. Sorry for the bad backs. Also, the TV media was very difficult to access and stay on.
- Roberto (8/5): -
- Kyle (3/5): Maintenance should upkeep better. It’s surprising this place won’t do weekly rates that are cheaper thank booking.com - Cheaper than other hotels. But you’ll see why First room card didn’t work. Had to get my belongings and move to another room. The room I went to I went to shower and the head broke… dude I called was apologetic but beat feet while I was getting dressed and getting my belongings together and was moved to another room. Finally one that met some lower quality standards with basic needs
- Claunts (10/5): It was amazing - It was nice to have stores around in walking distance
- Moore (2/5): Frustrated - Convenient The smell when I walked into my room, it must have been a smoking room
- Brown (2/5): Uncomfortable, low quality, gross - Only thing that had been cleaned were sheets. Stains of something on desk, lipstick on a lamp, an old wristband in the shower, and what actually looked to be a huge blood stain on the floor and curtain. TV didn’t work nor did the phone connected to the room. Did not have any interest in eating the breakfast: it looked stale and gross.
- Eric (8/5): -
- Hernán (8/5): - La cama y la ducha El desayuno
- Andrew (5/5): Outside of a bug being in my bed, I had a relatively nice stay. - I liked that there was breakfast.
I liked how big the parking lot was.
I liked the location of the hotel.
after and incident occurred I was kindly moved to a new room. I found bugs in my beds. after notifying the front desk, I was made aware that they were not in fact "bed bugs" but a different type of bug that was in my bed. I was told not to worry about said bug and that it would be okay, which to me seemed to downplay the fact that there was bugs in my bed. I was a little sketched out the rest of the time worried about more bugs. nonetheless the person at the desk was nice and kindly moved me to a new room.
- Sears (6/5): Have motel 6 expectations and be pleasantly surprised by the great staff and location. - Quiet. Good location. Plenty of parking. The area is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s run down and needs some upgrades. Plumbing works, but not great in the room I was in. The room was cleaned but not deeply, so things like someone else’s long hair on the bathroom floor, wonky lamp sort of vibe. It’s hard to run a hotel anymore, so don’t expect a comfort inn or better, more like a motel 6 (room wise).
- Ruth (6/5): Alright - It was comfortable It has ants, not that welcoming. Needs to be updated.
- Shurtleff (7/5): Very good - The nature The rowdy people
- Simmons (10/5): Great value in McMinnville - Convenient location, clean, breakfast, ease of handling reservation
- Kretha (4/5): - Our room was very spacious, and a good location. It’s very outdated, things were broken in our room. I found a used tampon shoved between our towels so had to get new ones.
- Buckner (5/5): -
- Lyla (10/5): - Nice rooms
- Terri (1/5): - Central location Room was cold and dirty.hair in sink and on pillows from previous guests i assume. Got sent to a already reserved room twice. Breakfast was a joke.
- Carlson (7/5): - Price
- Nicole (7/5): Friendly staff, clean, breakfast offerings. - We have stayed there once before, so it was familiar. Able to walk to some places. Beds are comfortable. They now have breakfast offerings which was nice—two cereals, bread, bagels, mini muffins, fruit cups, cottage cheese, juice, milk, coffee. Glad the rooms have microwaves and fridges. Friendly staff. It’s hard to spend that much money to just sleep since we spend most of our time elsewhere. Also, I felt a little uneasy that out of 50+ rooms, there were only 5-6 cars in the parking lot when we were there. Made me wonder why more people don’t stay there. The shower curtain was put on backwards and was too short to prevent water getting on the floor, so a big distraction when showering (to constant try to paste the sides of the curtain to the wall). No soap available at one of the two sinks. The room was a little beat up.
- Buckner (5/5): - The location was good and the room was big enough for the family Well the chair that was in the room was broken
There were ants in the room and the toilet handle was broken. And the sheets were on the bed inside out
- Chuck (8/5): -
- Deborah (6/5): - One of our rooms had an ant invasion and we woke up to ants everywhere. The ants got in everything we had. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and kind. We told them about the ants and they said they would take care of them. We were only there the one night so we didn’t see if they followed through on it.
- Richard (4/5): Meh - Friendly helpful staff. Door lock hardly worked; green light didn't come on; weak battery made unlocking virtually impossible; it was not fixed during the three days we were there. The shower head needs to be replaced; it mostly only worked as a single stream. There were no coffee cups available in the breakfast bar first morning there. The food offerings were altogether below standard for any motel that offers a breakfast: no fruit, no protein, little variety baked goods. Lack of thermostat meant getting up in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature on the heater a few times.
- Robin (6/5): Could use a refresh - The staff A little run down
- Neena (4/5): - The blanket on the bed was so thin
- Zander (10/5): -
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Naveen (8/5): -
- Nneka (9/5): Very good, bring your own blanket - Everything else was wonderful. The staff were all amazing, the location worked well for me, it was very quiet which I appreciated very much. The fan in the bathroom also didn't work (room 101 or 102). Bed sheets are a little thin for winter.
- Jason (10/5): -
- Kaylah (1/5): -
- Andra (10/5): Always a great stay - Clean, close to amenities, friendly staff N/A
- Cody (6/5): -
- Patrick (6/5): -
- Edward (8/5): -
- Mize (7/5): All in all I got a comfortable room with Internet access and a hot shower. I'm happy. - I'm not a needy person and I have done a lot of traveling in the past. The breakfast was nice and I enjoyed passing over the small talk. The juice machine was empty so there was no orange juice for breakfast.
- Tony (2/5): Stay cut short due to ants in the room. UGH! - Price and convenience. There were ants throughout the room, including in the sink and in the shower.
- joseph (10/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): I shall hope to stay there in the future. - Management has made serious efforts to provide an experience that exceeded my expectations. There isn't a deposit of $300 required any longer. The check-in clerk was very good. The maid was very good. The singular positives were: 3 different containers for the body wash, shampoo, conditioner. They were in place logically in that order. Unfortunately, many places put the conditioner first and then shampoo 3rd. That makes no sense to me. The towels here were equal to the nicest and Best Western's I've stayed in. The size of the TV was more than I expected. The telephone work. Not every hotel has ones that work. Adequate lamps. Each of them had at least a plug for electricity on the lamp. It is in a very convenient location between downtown mcminnville and the more built up area where the Walmart and Safeway are at. It's also very convenient to a number of restaurants and other shopping that is along that part of the main road in mcminnville. I would have liked having a plug for the bathtub. The TV, every time you turned it off, could not hold the information, in setup, it was HDMI3.
- Stacey A (6/5): Wont be back - Near linfield University The sheets had a bug yellow sticky stain when i turned down the covers to get in bed
- Lyndall (6/5): Satisfactory - Room was clean Room needed the following:
Working coffee pot
Soap in the shower
Instructions for working the TV
A more comfortable chair
- Zussette (8/5): -
- Steven (6/5): - Booking. Com charged 191.47, McMinnville inn charged 177.29 ? Could've booked on line for $94.00 .WTF you call this a service? I want a refund.
- Dylan (9/5): Great location. Plenty of parking. Awesome staff. Unlimited ice. The night manager Tessa is the best - There was no breakfast. That's the only think keeping it from being 5 stars. If they had or offered hot breakfast it would be the best.
- oneal (8/5): No comments - N/A A location on the property for an ice machine ,and candy machines.
- Marsha (4/5): Very nice staff. - Your price was the lowest in the area, The location was close for the event we were attending. Our room was on the ground floor and that was important as my friend with me has knee issues and wouldn't have been able to go up & down the stairs. The minute I opened the room door, I could smell stale cigarette. The room was dark colors and I think you need to at least shampoo the carpets and & clean the drapes. Or replaced, cigarette smoke stays in carpet & curtains for a long time. I almost went back to office to request a different room. We opened the window for air circulation. However, I don't know if I would come stay there again. I think your motel needs some modern upgrades. The toilet was TO low, replace with normal size toilets.
- Bianka (9/5): -
- JOHN (3/5): -
- Jonathan (7/5): - The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of room in the room. No soap or dispenser for soap in the shower, but you could see where the should have been one.
Coffee maker was in operable, wrong carafe.
- Inge (8/5): -
- Jacqueline (5/5): - Location Floor was not vacuumed. Shower curtain needs to be longer.
- Mary (10/5): Location is perfect to get to know the town and have access to needed services - This is an old hotel that has been well maintained.
I moved here from the east coast, my home purchase went sideways when the inspection canceled the contract, so the Inn is my temporary home. The staff is great.
- Deanna (7/5): Location was good, front desk staff was very friendly, would have been nice to have more coffee. - It was convenient to where I needed to go No breakfast and only enough coffee to make in room for one cup
- Renee (10/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): On the whole, I enjoyed my stay, but the room could use a freshening. - The staff was great. I called for assistance and the gentleman who answered talked me through my need very quickly and professionally. The location was exactly what I needed. I loved that there was a good restaurant within walking distance. The accommodations were good. I requested a ground floor room and was given one. (My hip was sooo thankful!) Seriously though, the gentleman who was at the front desk when I checked in and again when I checked out, had fantastic customer service and was very personable. He was a great face for your hotel. The room smelled really musty. The bed was a bit hard for me. The shower head is too short and when I used the phone to call the front desk, the cord fell out of the headset. I had to hold it in while using it.
- Wren (10/5): -
- Ariana (10/5): - Big rooms No doggie bags in the dispenser
- Caudill (8/5): - Refrigerator was very loud, temperature control broken, couldn't turn it off.
- Figueroa (10/5): -
- Omar (9/5): -
- Holly (5/5): - Decent size room. Front dest lady was nice. Bed was hard. Room was not clean mainly floors. Sticky carpets. Limited breakfast items to choose from.
- Ramirez (10/5): We recommend McMinnville inn anytime and day - The entire staff is absolutely amazing and are like family N/A
- Laurie (7/5): A decent place to stay on our way to the coast. - We simply needed a place to spend the night on our travels to the coast. It served that purpose and was priced reasonably for the area. It was fairly quiet even though along a busy road. Nothing that I recall.
- June (10/5): it was great, not too many movie choices and breakfast not great. but overall it was perfect! - clean easy to find i liked all of it
- joeltalbertuphol2024 (2/5): Poor - I had a very poor quality experience staying at The McMinnville Inn. The room had been smoked in and a strong cigarette smoke odor was evident. Also the heater was broken and making loud awful noises all night long. In addition to that the soap dispenser was broken in the shower and every time with use it would break off and fall in the shower. I asked the customer service rep to get me a partial refund but none was given. This is a very low quality hotel and I would never recommend it to anyone.
- Gene (7/5): Average - Basic Variety
- April (5/5): Room was clean and quiet. Great price. Would stay again. - Easy parking, dental location Room phone didn’t work, and tv didn’t work
- donna (7/5): -
- William (10/5): - Clean ,that's more important Nothing
- Robert (7/5): Good for location and price - Location is great right on Hwy 99 W The carpet is very worn down, room needs renovation specially painted.
- William (10/5): - Now and clean Nothing to say
- Jennie (10/5): -
- Chris (5/5): -
- Bob (10/5): -
- TexanOregonian (8/5): Functional but not pretty - You will be happy with your stay if you know what to expect. It’s in a nice location if you want to get around McMinnville easily. It’s pretty affordable. It is also extremely no frills. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water, so that was fine. There are restaurants at several price levels nearby, as well as multiple grocery stores, and it’s right on the main road through town, and the parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The one staffer I talked with was pleasant and businesslike and sensible. But the TV in the room didn’t work, they had an ice bucket but no ice machine on the entire property, and there was a minor ant infestation. But those are specifics, which aren’t really the point. The room itself looks bare, bleak, desolate, tawdry, you’ll know what I mean when you see it. If you saw a room like that in a movie, the director would be telling you that the occupant was alone and abandoned and sad. As a functional place to get a night’s sleep and a morning shower, it will serve you perfectly well and not break the bank, but if it’s important to you to stay somewhere nice, then spend a little more money and stay elsewhere. I was happy with it, but no one with eyes would call it nice.
- Kati (9/5): Pooch and I will rebook if we are in the area again - A wonderful young lady checked us in. We had a dog and the place was very well set up for him. We were in town to eat at Okta (very nice, skip the wine pairing). If we come back, we will stay here again.
- Thomas (7/5): -

- Tammy (6/5): - It was fine for one night, clean, comfortable bed, nice person at check in
