• anne (2/5): Only if no choice hotel! - The staff and location are the best things about this hotel. Tv didn’t work, aircon was so notvworning and though the staff tried, not much can be done in such short notice. Should request for room on lower floor so reception is better! Actually booked 2 nights and paid, but lost money as checked out after 1 night as my child really was unhappy. No air con, tv that doesn’t work, very difficult to rest well. Breakfast was not so bad so actually management should spend some money and do some minor renovation. Have. Very good location but we lost money As already paid for room on hotel.com. So disappointing!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Run down hotel, receptionist was dishonest, collected hotel fee twice, didnt want to cause trouble hence just gave them the extra RM20 (for 2 nights). No towels provided, room felt eerily creepy, was unable to sleep well for both nights, kept waking up every hour or so. Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Overall, worst hotel experience ever.

Last day before check out, after I came back from the breakfast at 4th storey, my card totally cannot use at all, I need to waste my time to go all the way to the lobby and ask them what happen.
• 17-13 (2/5): - Photos shown online are outdated. Damage Furnitures , door ,curtain and u can feel the mattress spring when sit or lay down. Dusty room, wet carpet ,omg sucks. Worst its haunted . Was disturbed from 12midnight till 3am plus.

• Verified traveler (4/5): NICE LOCATION BUT TERRIBLE ROOM FACILITIES - The building is skyscraper but the room is horrible, air con not working, toilet was not flush from the previous tenant, toilet seat stained, found lizard poop on the sink counter, no water sprinkler, no toiletries except for toothbrush & 2 tiny bar soap, water from the tap is white in color not normal water color. Water boiler heat rod rusted, therefore the boiled water cannot be consumed. The TV is an ancient tv box type, no remote & transmission sucks. The pillow smell. Overall rating NO GOOD, THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOOD ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS ITS LOCATION. THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD RENOVATE ALL THE ROOM INCLUSIVE OF THE LIFT LOBBY SHOULD THEY WANTED TO STAND OUT SINCE THEIR LOCATION IS GOOD

• SIEW KHIM (2/5): Worst hotel in the world - Room very dirty, bed got a lot of bedbugs. Asked Room very dirty, bed got a lot of bedbugs, catch a few and wanted them to change room, they keep on said ok, but in the end did not change. My family didn’t sleep the whole night and worry that bugs hide inside our luggage, so did not put on the floor. Aircon very noisy. This is the worst hotel I have in my life. Will not come back again. Please don’t book this hotel.
• Verified traveler (2/5): VERY BAD - Bedsheets had stains on it . Carpet was dirty . Windows very dirty(had stains of sweat on it) . Bed was hard as a rock . Not to mention , no wifi in the room while when its the 21st century . TV was very old too , maybe even older than myself .
• Yeo (2/5): - Location was very good, connected over-head bridge from city square but need to walk down the stairs to hotel lobby. -Room very big which allow 2 extra roll-away bed , furniture very torn out. -dirty carpet, -odour smell and stains pillow although pillow case is clean -using ''mattress protecter'' as duvet, - leaking water pipe throughout the stay -roll away bed but only mattress with no bed frame provided so sleeping on floor :( -air-con water leakage @ my parents room in middle of the night -window not sound proof, which can still heard the outside surrounding - breakfast was bad. -totally different from website review. -Internal door lock can be screw out.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - It was overall an okay stay. Mainly stayed there because of its location to the mall nearby. Accommodation wise is just okay. The bed was pretty hard and the sofas were moldy. Might stay again due to location.
• Swamy (2/5): This is the WORST HOTEL in the earth. - Dirty and Worst Hotel in the World where human being and even creature will NOT stay in this HOTEL. Room are very very dirty and fowl smelled. Aircon NOT working. Bed linens were not changed. There is NO Bell Boys to carry your luggage from Reception to Room. Breakfast served in a very unhygienic atomosphere. It would have been better and comfortable, if I stayed in platform rather than staying in that Hotel. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL for even my enemy to stay. Such a WORST HOTEL you cannot see any where in the world. Room rates are also HIGH. Rest are taps and health wash were broken. None of the Hotel staff care for Guest and their comfort.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay. Worst hotel ever. - Worst hotel ever, not even fit to be called a hotel. The first thing we found when we got into our room was a big cockroach on the bathroom floor and there were multiple dead smaller cockroaches scattered around. Very dirty hotel, the toilet seat was stained, toilet paper was damp, sink had specks of dirt, pillow casings and bedsheets were yellowish, carpet was ripped at some parts (and looked dusty). And they forgot to provide us with towels, so we went down to ask. The receptionist wasnt very nice and only gave us one towel when there's three of us. He said will send us two more later but in the end it did not come at all. 3 of us actly had to share one towel cause it was alrdy late. Such bad service.. And hotel staff did not even bother cleaning the room before we came, there were used tissues left on the table.. and to add on, the table was wobbly. Will not ever come back again. Not even fit for one night stay.
• PP (2/5): WORST VALUE - This is the MOST Terrible Hotel Stay experience through HOTEL.COM Overall & ALL aspects of the hotel is HORRIBLE, except the Location is very good I strongly suggest this hotel to be delisted from the website...!!!
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel has very good location 'hard ware', but there are a lot of room for improvements by simple efforts. 1. The lift carpet were dirty- need only 2 minutes to clean it. 2. Reception lobby, lifts, and corridors with no air conditioning, in tropical area is quite uncomfortable. 3. The room was spacious and very good view.
• Nvr Go Back (2/5): Not Recommended - Everything i find abt this hotel is it need a major refurbished. It was the first time i experienced i gotta kicked the door hard in order to close it. There is no remote control to operate d tv n receptions were v bad.Rqst a hair dryer,the staff said only 01 left and muz return after used. Hotel amenities are to d minimum( i.e. No tissues n tooth brush).

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good location but Poor customer service - There was a power interruption during check out and the staff (Amir) ask us to wait until the power is up before we can check out considering we have receipts for the refund and the keys to return he should have done it manually instead plus 2 of them at the reception but only 1 do the work either check in or out.

• Derrick (4/5): Ave. hotel with the saving grace of the nice staff - Firstly, the staff are friendly. BUT Only certain rooms and the reception area have WiFi. During my stay in the hotel, the reception area wifi was down and I have NO Access to my messages and Internet. 2nd day (I stayed 3 nights), my room was not cleaned until near 5pm even though I have told the Reception to send someone to clean up my room after breakfast while I was out. And housekeeping ladies left their things in my room after cleaning up but did not replace my bath towels. The toilet flushing system was not working properly and the entrance door to the room was difficult to close. The saving points are the hotel is link to the Shopping Square (CS) and many road side food stalls around. Oh... . It rained during my stay in the hotel but the road in front of the hotel was flooded, making it impossible to go out.
• HENG YEW (2/5): - Never ever booked this hotel if you want a peaceful night sleep. the vehicles that was stuck in the causeway jam was blasting their honks through out the day and through the whole night. And the hotel charges for extra pillows. t

The room is stinks. The tap water from the tap are small. Definitely will not go back anymore. Very terrible.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Large Room, Low Cost, Lower Your Expectations - If we remember that this is a fairly large room for a fairly low cost, it should have been worth 4 stars. However, the tap was dripping water and the television channels were not tuned properly. To sum it up, this room could be better maintained.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Super convenient - Hotel is very conveniently located right next to the CIQ terminal and City Square mall. There are food stalls open at night just right outside the hotel. A hotel to stay in if you are looking at convenience in terms of location - room was big but bed was hard. Cleanliness 7/10. Breakfast was a good enough spread - eggs, sardine puff, fried rice, penang laksa, cereal, nuggets.

• Kumar (2/5): Shabby hotel in city centre - Shabby hotel rooms with broken faucets in washrooms, mattress as hard as floor, bed type wrongly shown as King size on booking page whereas only allotted a queen size bed. Breakfast was very limited quantity and kitchen staff not able to run buffet properly. No room service available in this hotel. Wifi is only limited to hotel lobby, which is not shown clearly on booking page.
• Aishah (4/5): Hotel part of an old building - We drove so we wanted to take advantage of free parking. The parking lot, oh dear, suffocating. We checked in right at 2pm. However, reception only pulled out one room for us when i already made bookings for 2 rooms. They said I had to wait for 30 minutes for the 2nd room, ended up waiting 1 hour, which they told me to come down to get the key. Would have been better if they sent the key to our room. It was the hotel's fault that we didnt get 2 rooms straightwaway. The first room was bare. It looked clean. But the carpeted floors were stained, They should really update the photos, i didnt realise the room had a tv room. Barely decorated. Bed was hard. Aircon wont start, until the technician came and walked rigt in with his shoes on. He just gave us a new remote. The second room looked a little better. But it had no tv room, just bigger with the tv facing the beds. As the hotel was right across the jb checkpoint, i woke up at 2am, 4am and 6am, due to the trucks blaring their horns. Definitely was not a comfortable nights sleep. my faamily also were woken up a few times. I have a sensitive nose, and easily get allergies, my nose was uncomfortable the moment i stepped into the rooms.

• Sandy LIM (10/5): My 4th stay in JB Central Hotel - As expected, the location is the best and advantage for this selected hotel. Stone distance to City square and security and safety is totally not a problem. Breakfast is considered reasonable good and feel relax during weekend stay and manage to watch two of the good movies and have good lunch & dinner in a good Chinese restaurant in city square. Of course if there is renovation for the hotel trust me this hotel should have done better even though there are many budget hotels around the same area.
