- Hice (8/5): We loved it. Great atmosphere at the Courie Inn. - This place defines Scotland. While we had to cling lots of stairs to our room once we got there we loved it. Lynn is very hospitable as were all the staff. The food in the little cafe was very good. Best sticky toffee pudding in Scotland. No soaps for the shower.

It was an absolute delight and, without doubt, our favourite stop along the route. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. I would definitely book to stay again.

Mooie, ruime kamers. Heel lekker eten in het restaurant en erg kwaliteitsvol ontbijt. Hele mooie omgeving - ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen in de natuur.

- Ellen (8/5): Lovely stay at the Courrie Inn - This was our second time at the Courrie Inn. This independent hotel's atmosphere is cosy and the food is lovely with a great breakfast the next day. They're also very dog friendly which is nice. The hotel is quite an older building and therefore, it is noisy. There was a party and due to noise from other guests, we didn't have a great night's sleep. If you come here, bring earplugs.

- Carola (9/5): Gemütliche Unterkunft + gutes Essen in kleinem, abseits gelegenen Ort in wunderschöner Landschaft - Sehr gemütlich mit kleinem Restaurant dabei. Unser 4 Bett Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte ein schönes Bad und eine tolle Aussicht in die Highlands. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Der Ort liegt etwas abseits am River Dochart mit seinen wunschschönen Wasserfällen. Man kann dort schön spazieren gehen, auch in der Nähe am Loch Tay. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt.

Lovely bar area and dining area. Staff incredibly nice ! Food really nice too. I liked everything ! Maybe another vegetarian option for dinner would be great 😉.

- Steven (8/5): A treat night for a 50th - Superior room with sofa for hanging out in. Nice breakfast. Hot chocolate and Tunnocks teacakes in room. Nice bar downstairs. Expensive for what was received. Water fault - flush and shower pressure. TV had no reception across all channels including radio. Breakfast nice but not very generous in portion size. Host could have been more outgoing. Could hear noise from bar in room.

My only criticism would be the bread, I prefer white but there was no choice. Everything was perfect, my only negative would be that there was no white bread. It's a lovely friendly place with excellent staff.

- Ester (6/5): Lo mejor la cena en su bistro - Decoración, limpieza y comida en el bistro es maravillosa. Habitación familiar con vistas a la calle y solo una planta de escaleras. No poder encender la calefacción a tu necesidad. La tienen programada y por ejemplo si llegas a las 4pm y quieres estar en la habitación hasta las 6pm a descansar, no hay calefacción. Lo cual hace la estancia incómoda. Los colchones individuales se clavan bastante los muelles. Quizá en un niño no, pero sí en adultos. Alguna sábana tenía manchas rojas, extraño porque todo estaba muy limpio.

- Laurenne (7/5): Hôtel sympathique à Killin - Joli hôtel avec un agréable restaurant au rez-de-chaussée Le restaurant a été très bruyant le 1er soir de notre séjour (jusqu'à minuit), et il n'y a pas de porte de séparation entre le restaurant et la cage d'escalier, et donc les chambres. Le 2ème soir a été bien plus calme, donc j'imagine que ce n'est pas toujours comme ça.

On the top of the very friendly welcome, the food is way above average and the pub so good looking! We had an excellent stay. Besides, the surroundings are GREAT to visit!

- Alice (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Killin! - Perfect location in killin. Very homey feeling. Felt very welcome. We had de smallest room but it was really cute. Coffee station and water bottles as well as a little treat when we arrived. Breakfast cooked after ordering the night before. Great place for hikes around Killin. We ate at the restaurant and had the best meal during our trip (and we have eaten in quite fancy restaurants during our trip). The lamb is a must as well as salmon pate. Everything was good. The only thing I could mention is that the pillows were a little bit on the hard side and it was quite hot but it had been warm during the day and the room is on top floor. When renovating in future I would suggest more electrical sockets in the room as well as a new tap where you can mix hot and cold water and not two separate ones.
