- Avril (10/5): Lovely stay, close to town. Perfect for our adventurous weekend away! - The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed. The outdoor/indoor spa bath for 2 was fantastic. It was very local and easy to find. The parking was great, however when it's busy, it's easy to get blocked in. Not anything to do with the owners but more the disrespect of other guests. My advice is, if you have to leave early park where you won't get blocked in. Also if you just need a room without the spa, I'd suggest to stay upstairs. We had a very noisy person who was up all night and made a lot of noise.

- Paschalis (8/5): Pleasant stay - Room was clean and roomy, the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Public transport frequency is so bad that we had to walk most of the time to reach anything and it was quite a distance.

- Michele (9/5): - Recently updated rooms that are very spacious indeed, bathroom especially. Loved the separate sitting area from the bed with dining table and private kitchen. We even did laundry in the onsite facilities. Everything we needed for a stop on our North Island roadtrip. Location to all our intended sights within Rotorua were minutes from the hotel.

Easy onsite parking , just up the road from most of the volcanic attractions . Close to main shopping and also a quiet location as rooms not on main road . Although the concierge had recently replaced the cooktop, the touch controls were temperamental . When he looked at it it worked perfectly , it worked most of the time for us , but we just bought some microwave oven containers from Kmart and used the microwave instead . Not really the owners fault , just typical of modern technology -unreliable . We are elderly and had upstairs room , we should have asked for ground floor room .

- Jennifer (9/5): Very comfortable and clean and good value. - Rooms had been refurbished and were spotless. Very large rooms with a large comfortable bed. It had a kitchenette which was very well set up to self cater. Laundry facilities available to use were helpful as we were travelling each day. We had an upstairs room which could be hard for older guests as the outside stairs were steep and slippery when wet. There are also ground floor rooms.

The staff member that we interacted with was exceedingly good and responsive to our requests, I don’t know his name but he was the one who put out a cone to warmness of not falling down the stairs.. We only watched the news on TV, however the TV remote was difficult to use because most of the instructions have been rubbed off, and the TV had been change to German presumably by former guests and consequently was a little hard to navigate. The chairs in the room were really quite rickety and not keeping with the quality of the rest of the motel.

- Aversano (8/5): Nel complesso il nostro soggiorno è stato molto gradevole, riprenoterei in questa struttura. - La posizione del Motel era eccezionale per tutte le attrazioni di Rotorua, con il parcheggio garantito era semplice spostarsi con la macchina, l'appartamento aveva un bagno molto spazioso (doccia fantastica) e pulito. La cucina moderna e comoda negli spazi. Doterei la cucina di una pentola un po' più grande per cucinare e qualche stoviglia in più. I fornelli elettrici non funzionavano benissimo (raggiungere e mantenere il bollore dell'acqua per cucinare la pasta era complicato).

Whakarewarewa is close by, not far from a supermarket and the shopping area snd Eat Street minutes away by car. Decor in room rather soulless. Benchtop cooking elements are Induction - unsafe for use by people who have a pacemaker. This needs to be advertised on the Booking.com website for this property. TV kept cutting out.

- L1lmiss (7/5): meh - there was a good range of cutleries and cooking utensils available, the carpet was fluffy, the location optimal, and the staff helpful and friendly. it said it was newly renovated units and although our unit seemed like it was refreshed, the furnitures and appliances used were subpar - 2 of the dining chairs had broken legs (but we didn't really need to use the dining area much as we were mostly out so at least there weren't any accidents. the microwave clearly needs a change, it had quite a rusty and worn out interior but still functioning. the shower door was not positioned well, it's in the way of the bathroom/toilet door, it would've made more sense having it face the toilet. The parking situation was a bit of a peeve. Although there are enough parking available but just be mindful it's kind of like a free for all with other units. But most of all, although relatively tidy, it didn't feel clean. There was still old food crumbs stuck on one of the plates, we found popcorn upon arrival under the bed which could've been easily vacuumed, and the spa pool when used had quite a few gunk debris floating when we tried to fill / uncover the drain. It felt kinda disgusting to use tbh, especially thinking of the other parts we found weren't cleaned appropriately. The stay overall (for one night) was okay. Probably wouldn't necessarily choose it again as an option though with how it is atm. I'm not too fussy with amenities but cleanliness is a must 😊

- Hawes (10/5): Comfortable, Family- Friendly Stay with an Amazing Spa !!! - Our stay at Ashleigh Court Motel was absolutely amazing. The kids loved the spa and wanted to use it every day 😀 The beds were very comfortable, and having a separate bedroom for the kids plus a sofa bed made the space perfect for our family. The kitchen was well equipped for light cooking, which was really convenient. After busy days exploring Rotorua, the spa was an absolute bonus. We’ll definitely be coming back!

- Sue (8/5): Very good stay, had a great time revisiting places and finding some new places to go. - Very quiet location and very easy assess to our vehicle. The kitchen facilities and heating were very good. The settee was very uncomfortable, (we realise it was a bed settee) but it was too low and hard. The TV remote control didn't always work properly even though it had new batteries. Would have been better if the voice command had worked, we did set it to that option without success. We didn't use the second bedroom but would have preferred it but it didn't have a TV. The shower head in the bathroom could not be adjusted which was inconvenient for a short person like me. There was mold around the outside bottom rim of the shower unit and part of the sealer strip along the bottom of the door was missing which resulted in the water leaking onto the bathroom floor. The glass top on the coffee table needs to be secured better as it moved every time it was touched. Even though we had, on one occasion , left the sign for our room NOT to be serviced someone had been in to leave more towels. The outside of the owners accommodation needs cleaning and their curtains need to be tidied up, it doesn't give a good impression. Looks shabby.

- Volker (6/5): - Die Zimmer sind aufgrund der Bauart sehr hellhörig. Wenn Gäste um 5.00 Uhr abreisen, ist es mit der Nachtruhe vorbei. Zwischen 5.00 Uhr und 8.00 Uhr sind Gäste abgereist und mit dem Schlafen war es vorbei. Des Weiteren wurden die Autos mit laufendem Motor beladen und somit gab es weitere Lärmstörungen. Die Hellhörigkeit lässt leider das Gesamtergebnis nach unten rutschen.

- Kate Kylie (10/5): Good value for money - Very clean. Spacious bathroom. It was a hot today and the staff turned on the AC prior to us coming in so it was already cool inside when we checked in! Overall good
