- Jennifer (9/5): a lovely time in Luang Prabang - The location is really amazing. Very central, and a beautiful place. It was so lovely to eat outside in front and the food was very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was nice to be able to use the Sofitel pool, and to have a private car ride over there. I had a room on the ground floor (room 1) which had a lovely outside space to sit. The snacks given each night were appreciated. I really enjoyed it a lot. Thank you.

- Tim (10/5): Awesome - Nice Nothing
- John (9/5): - A wonderful hotel filled with charm and elegance - the staff are exceptional and really took care of us. We had an enormous balcony (room 6) above the reception area and loved watching the world go by. Beds were super comfy and all the little extras made it a very memorable stay. We loved this hotel, but…it’s an old building and you’re right on the street, which can get a little noisy
- Mark (5/5): Lovely staff but dont stay in a downstairs room - The staff and breakfast We were in a downstairs room twice and because the building is old with teak floors you can hear absolutely every movement upstairs - we were unlucky to have people who got up in the night and slept really badly for 2 nights - the staff will tell you it is a Heritage Hotel but still you need to be able to sleep well
Also for the money the hotel rooms are very tired with old bathroom fittings (tiny shower head fixed to taps over the bath) - this is our 3rd time in Luang Prabang and this is the worse value for money
- Steve (10/5): Old-world charm and service with new world ammenities. - Loved the location, the old-world decor and ambience and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
- jimmy (7/5): Love the historical buildings and helpful staffs - Location, attentive n helpful staffs, and the heritage hotel
- Thaís (9/5): Excelente - O hotel é um charme! Cheio de detalhes e o café é maravilhoso O chuveiro não é muito funcional!

- Gary (10/5): Wonderful stay in historic hotel - 3 nagas was one of our favourite hotels during a trip to SE Asia. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location for the sights of Luang Prabang and our room was very comfortable. The staff are lovely. We had delicious breakfast and excellent cocktails during our stay. ,
- Augusto (10/5): Excellent stay at a historic property - The staff! The hotel is comfortable, historical, clean, and a heritage property but the real highlight is the staff — genuinely friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. One of the best experiences I’ve had, and I’d definitely come back! It’s a heritage property, so my room didn’t have a TV, which was a good thing for me, but may put off other guests.
- Johnny (8/5): Amazing - We loved our stay at the 3 Nagas Hotel. The property has real character—an authentic heritage building that’s been beautifully maintained, with the perfect balance of old charm and modern comfort. The blackout windows were a surprise highlight—great sleep guaranteed!
The staff were absolutely amazing: warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, even going out of their way to help with our two toddlers. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of thoughtful touches, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the middle of town, easy to explore everything on foot.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants a mix of history, comfort, and excellent hospitality. Pool was a little misleading as it is in a different location where they shuttle you for free to
- Linpita (9/5): -
- Roslyn (10/5): We’ll be back - Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly and attentive. Thank you
- Tim (10/5): Memorable stay made possible by incredible staff and service -
- Khounepraseuth (10/5): - Staying here was magical. It was beyond what we’ve expect both in hotel and service. Every staff members went past and beyond to provide us with a comfortable stay.
The hotel is also located at perfect walking distance from everything. We didn’t have to walk far to experience the magic of Luang Prabang.
I highly recommend this hotel and this city.
Simply magical
- Suresh Menon (10/5): Most memorable stay at 3 Nagas in Luang Prabang - The location was amazing. However the most outstanding feature is the service quality. The staff in the F&B section were amazing and everyone went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. The Assistant Manager of F&B, Tou was tireless in her effort to make us welcome. Everything was perfect so nothing not to like
- panchalee (9/5): -
- Frank (10/5): Very staisfied stay - One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Location was the best, it was right on the the main street of the city. The water drain was a bit slow, it's understandable because the hotel is a historic building.
- Looz (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Markd (9/5): Superb -
- Lipikorn (9/5): Superb -
- Vandana (10/5): We were thrilled that we picked 3 Nagas for our short stay at Luang Prabang. - Superb location. We could walk everywhere. It was very convenient. I will be back to stay here. Can't think of anything.
- Narinderpal (9/5): Superb -
- Rodrigo (10/5): Amazing Experience - Location and extremely friendly staff service Nothing
- Rajalida (9/5): Superb - Great
- James (10/5): - Great location and very upscale. Beautiful hotel and I had this amazing room where I could watch the monks on early AM rounds. Staff was best I have seen at hotels and really loved Luang Prabang. I could have stayed for a month or more, Staff helped with tourism and restaurant excellent as well. Highest Rating
- Yi (9/5): Superb - Everything except the height of the toilet bowl Improvement needed on the toilet bowl. It is too low. See the pic.
- Helen (7/5): Good - Great location and traditional building. It was expensive
- Sean (10/5): - UNESCO renovated and protected building. Very typical and beautiful. On slight issue, which was not an issue, as the building is very old the sound proofing was not of modern standard. Staff excellent and attentive. Location and settling in PB could not be better with the ALMs passing right past every morning at 6am. A Most Stay!
- Colette (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirsty (10/5): - Beautiful historical building in a serene part of old Luang Prabang, yet an easy walk to the buzzy night market. We enjoyed sitting on our private deck in the garden, and delicious breakfasts under the trees. The most comfortable bed of any hotel in Asia.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, absolutely beautiful hotel. Really nice food and staff are all excellent. Special mention to Fan who looked after us at breakfast and dinner. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- Nikoleta (9/5): Superb -
- Kashyap (10/5): Pretty, close and comfortable - A cute little vintage hotel with a cafe with live music right next door, a pretty garden to chill at and a cafe with vegan options.
- Chatsiri (10/5): - The staff team (Ning, Linda, Pookie, Noug, and Thongvan) is very friendly and helpful. They offered to take me and my husband to the next hotel even though they didn’t have too.
- Veronique (9/5): Superb - perfect location for the alms of the monks early morning (around 6 am). you can see them from your room.
nearby the most beautiful temples (walking distance).
with a complementary bicycle a short ride to sofitel for the refreshing swimming pool.
good breakfast à la carte, lots of choice the rooms are very noicy because of the old french building - good to use earplugs
- Valerie (8/5): Excellent service - The hotel staff were very nice, and Linda at the reception was brilliant. The reception, breakfast and the bar areas were really nice. The rooms and bathrooms needs to be refreshed.
- Neviil (9/5): A wonderful stay - The location was excellent and the ambiance was very intimate. Everything was good
- Nilza (10/5): The kindest staff, in a beautiful and confortable hotel - Very beautiful and comfortable hotel, room and bed, best location, near temples, cafes, restaurants, etc. The hotel’s restaurant itself is excellent, and the bar on the other side of the street is charming with the sax live music in the evening. But most special of all, and what made my stay memorable, is the staff, the best, always so kind, smiling, thoughtful, attentive. No words will be enough to thank you, girls, Nouy, Ning, Linda, Mim, Pookie …. Please forgive me if I forgot someone… Thanks for making my stay so special ! Everything was perfect.
- Deborah (10/5): - Gorgeous historic property with deep respect for preservation and heritage. Thank you for saving these unique properties!
- Cynthia (9/5): The staff the staff the staff- so so lovely and very generous breakfasts were prefection! - The staff is outstanding!! The location is central - a little noisy on weekends. For the price point they should further soundproof the rooms and how about a real shower head not this wobbly detached cheap hotel shower head. It is a lovely historical hotel but just a little extra would bring the value up to what you pay.
I own a 160 year old historical hacienda in Mexico and know that these little touches are doable and expected by your guests!
- Shay (8/5): Lovely and relaxing! - Staff were amazing and helped so much with any and all requests. They were attentive, thoughtful and friendly. Couldn't be happier with their service. Some costs did seem unreasonably high. For instance, having 3 t-shirts and one pair of shorts laundered cost $19 USD.
- Shay (10/5): - Staff are fantastic and the availability of the Sofitel facilities is excellent. Thank you!
- Mustafa (9/5): Superb - Staff was great. Especially Nouiy and Bird were very helpful and friendly.
- Chiat (8/5): Old world charm that befits the ambience of Luang Prabang - Lots of old world charm....tasteful set up. The staff were very attentive and courteous, albeit often lost in translation but it is all the more charming. Our 4 day stay had unfortunately been interrupted by a municipal water pipe repair which caused a day of spluttering water and lack of water pressure, as well as a bewildering whistling sound that was quite loud. But the staff attended to the problem very readily and our final day was very restful. The water pipe issue but it was no fault of the hotel, although perhaps a heads-up would have saved us from a lot of guesswork.
- Stella (10/5): Overall a lovely traditional piece of luxury - The location is amazing right in main strip but there again Luang Prabang is tiny so everything is very close. The beds are super super comfy, lovely traditional design, beautiful environment. Super friendly staff. The main thing for me, and maybe its not possible due to the original infrastructure but with a 5* hotel like this i would expect a stand in/walk in shower rather than traditional bath tub with shower over the bath.
- Laura (7/5): Good - Lovely and helpful staff, great location. Rooms are a little tired. More expensive that what you get - we stayed in another hotel in LP after 3 Nagas, which was less than half the price and exceptional. Breakfasts were also not the best that we had in Luang Prabang.
- Amy (9/5): Superb - Historic building. Nice restaurant. Good location. Getting assistance for booking tours and train tickets was comically difficult.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - One of the most enjoyable hotel stays.
From the moment arriving until leaving everything the hotel provided was exceptional. Friendly staff, great service, beautiful rooms… and in my opinion the best location possible. A very short walk from cafes, bistros, restaurants and the Mekong sunset views.
Shuttle service or private service is provided to The Sofitel sister hotel where you can use the facilities, gym and pool or have a lovely spa treatment.
By far one of the best hotel stays experienced. Can’t recommend this place enough, special mention to Bird, Nouy and Linda on the front desk and the very friendly restaurant staff.
As a solo traveller the staff have made this trip comfortable and very enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
- Jayne (8/5): Very good -
- Anussara (10/5): Perfect location, excellent service. I had an easy and confortable stay . . . - We had a lovely stay! Our room was comfy, clean and we had service every day. The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. The breakfast and service was nice and fast. I would highly recommend this hotel. Zero
- Karnika (8/5): Excellent highly recommended for it's staff location - STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL. THEY WERE COURTEOUS POLITE AND GOES OUT OF THE WAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME. SPECIAL MENTION OF MR BIRD WHO WENT OUT OF HIS WAY AND MADE US FEEL AT HOME. THE LOCATION IS SUPERB.
- Bernhard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (9/5): Superb -
- Thi (9/5): Superb -
- Hitomi (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staffs are really friendly and kind. They helped us to book tour and reserve tickets for train.
The room was so clean that we could spend really nice time here.
- Grant (10/5): - Our stay at the 3 Nagas was truly special. The hotel is housed inside three historic French Colonial buildings on the most significant street in the World Heritage area of Luang Prabang. The staff are absolutely incredible. They took great effort to ensure all of our needs were met. 3 Nagas is conveniently located to all of the major Luang Prabang sites.
- Usanee (10/5): -
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the 3 Nagas Hotel Luang Prabang and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that truly set the tone for our stay.
The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff going out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. The historical charm of the hotel is beautifully maintained, giving it a unique and authentic feel that adds to its allure.
Our room was an absolute delight. It was spacious, meticulously clean, and tastefully decorated with a blend of traditional and modern elements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was equipped with all the amenities I could need, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-stocked minibar. The attention to detail, from the fresh welcome drinks and ice cream to the luxurious toiletries, was evident.
The hotel’s location is ideal, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Despite being centrally located, it was remarkably peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
The breakfast served each morning was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious and freshly prepared options. The staff in the dining area were attentive and ensured that every meal was a delightful experience.
One of the standout features of 3 Nagas Hotel is the exceptional.
- Khattirat (9/5): Superb -
- Jesper (10/5): Exceptional - The interior of the rooms is incredible
- Yai (9/5): Superb -
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this hotel was great. Beautiful room with four poster bed and mosquito net. Fabulous helpful staff and good food. I would stay here again for sure!!!
- Kari (8/5): Comfortable, peaceful location in the heart of Luang Prabang. - Building and setting is gorgeous and a perfect location to experience Luang Prabang. It’s close to just about everything and is an easy place to return to midday for a rest and beverage.
Staff was friendly, attentive and happy to help.
Delicious breakfast in a quiet and peaceful location in the front garden. Electricity went out a couple times in our bathroom - a short circuit - and the staff had to fix it a few times. That was inconvenient but not a huge issue.
- Bryan (8/5): - 3 Nagas is perfectly located in a part of Luang Prabang that is very convenient to restaurants. The incredible staff makes every morning’s breakfast a refreshing embrace of the new day.
- Ben (10/5): one of the most beautiful hotels - We love that the hotel is located in the old town and close to all the tourist attractions. We also love the style of the hotel, a traditional room, but yet so comfortable and relaxing, also love the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the city and the slow life of locals. Most of all, we really appreciate that the staff took care us so well from the check-in until we leave, espically Bird, Ning and Nong, just to name a few that we could remember.
- Peera (7/5): Good - Great location for serene atmosphere located around major attractions. Superb breakfast and friendly, attentive staff. We're quite surprise to find out hotel charge extra for tax and fee. It's normally included when book through booking.com so be careful. Check thoroughly. Food and drink were quite pricey in comparison with fancy places around hotel (like within 1-2 min walk). The hotel is in old wooden building, though with good preservation, so it's not sound proof. Especially from rooms upstairs.
- Michele (9/5): Superb - staff was very nice and friendly
- Manu (10/5): - Amazing friendly and helpful staff; wonderful location to walk to all the major sights, shopping and restaurants/bars. Wonderful.
- Alistair (5/5): Ok - Staff are absolutely wonderful a true credit to the hotel. Rooms are tired, no sound proofing, noise from neighbouring rooms and traffic noise is horrendous.
- Janunya (8/5): Very good -
- Manish (7/5): Comfortable stay, excellent staff and the location is excellent i - The location and the staff More vegetarian options on the menu for dining and breakfast
Hotel should provide complimentary water especially in Laos instead of nickel and diming guests for water
- Sawako (10/5): Exceptional - good foods, location, amenities, balcony of our room. above all very nice, kind staffs! Thank you for being flexible and accommodating our needs.Bird, Te, Ning, Nouy, thanks! it was not economic but was worth it.
- Sandeep (9/5): Superb - Nice heritage building, location-location-location, staff was very good Air conditioning would switch off in the middle of the night
- Jie (10/5): Four star recommend - Best location and service, especially reception desk named ning.
there are some restaurant around hotel, little bit noisy till night. None
- Sutthorntip (9/5): A relax get away. Best for couples. People are so kind in this hotel. This is the place to stay in Luangprabang - Love the location and the beyond hospitality they offered The noise. It’s really noisy around there especially the construction going on near by. The room is not sound proof due to the UNESCO heritage site.
- Ricardo estanislao (10/5): - Beautiful place, great location and the staff was excelent !!!
- Papassorn (9/5): Pleasant and satisfying. - The atmosphere and staff.
My stay was most pleasant due to the staff. Perhaps the maintenence of some of the equipments in the room.
- Ajay (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (10/5): - We just stayed at 3 Nagas for 2 nights during our trip to Luang Prabang. We could not have made a better choice. The hotel, its location and its staff are excellent. It is a beautiful historic property located in the best area of Sisavangvong Street. It is just one block away from several “wats” (Buddhist temples) and the monks will pass right by in the morning. The famous night and day markets are also just a few blocks down the street. The property itself is gorgeous and the rooms are beautiful. The food is on the expensive side for Laos, but it is very good. One can choose from more Western or Laotian options. Most amazing is the staff. Everybody will go out of their way to make this the most pleasant experience. Neuy, Te and Ning have were always there to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely stay here again.
- Tena (10/5): The history and location is amazing. The staff was the best and made our experience memorable. - The history, the location, and amazing staff
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful experience at Luang Prabang downtown - Superb location
