• Piotr (10/5): Nice hotel with history - Great location, a very nice building and the decoration of the room has a unique touch to it. The doors and windows are a bit old and it's difficult to find the entrance but overally it's not something that would stop me from staying again.

• Peter (10/5): Home away from home. - We loved this hotel. Very clean and secure. The decor is very traditional hacienda with numerous seating areas both inside and outside. The restaurant serves traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many of the guests are regulars, saying, it’s like a home away from home. The staff are very helpful. Close to Reforma and restaurants.

• Helen (7/5): This is an old style clean budget hotel in a good location. - Good breakfast at a competitive price. Old style family run hotel with a nice courtyard. Expect old infrastructure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great to see all the sites of central Mexico City. Easy to travel from here by public transit, or walk if you like to walk. The room at the street side can get noisy until about 10:30 or 11 on a weekend night due to the restaurants nearby. Also the plumbing tends to stink even with drain covers. The old wood floor creaks a lot, which is disturbing to downstairs occupied rooms.

• Edward (9/5): An excellent place to stay to discover Mexico City for the first time. - Excellent location, very central (next to the Angel of Independence), 30 mins walk to historic centre and 20 to Roma Norte. Peaceful but close to everything. Welcoming and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast.

• William (9/5): Great location; quaint hotel. - The place is charming and you cannot do better for location. There are decent restaurants and cafes right out the door and the neighborhood is tree-lined and nice to walk in. As for the hotel rooms, don't be cheap. My room was way better than my friends' rooms, large and sunny, because I paid a little more.
• Negar (8/5): Garden room in neighbourhood was paradise - It was locked in so you knew that no one from outside would be able to enter the garden. The garden was beautiful and set of rooms and balconies were unique. The coffee in restaurant was excellent. Some of the rooms were outdated. We had two and one was much more renovated than the other. One didn’t have hooks in bathroom and the safe didn’t work. Also, the restaurant didn’t open until 7:30 and no where to get coffee until then.

Could have been cleaner, and bathroom smelled of pipes as well as latch on the shower was broken. Front door had nails sticking out and my husband actually tore his jumper, then we told the reception to fix this.
• Robbert (10/5): Heerlijk rustig hotel op menselijke maat - Een rustplaats in alle hectiek, met uitstekende ligging tov de verschillende andere interessante wijken. Zonder overdreven luxe, maar alles werkt goed en de mensen zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Niets, na een paar dagen wel eens een ander ontbijtplaatsje opgezocht.
• JIANING (8/5): - La ubicación es perfecta La habitacion que da a la calle puede ser un poco ruidosa, aunque se puede solicitar un cambio al hacer el registro de entrada. Las calefacción tiende a secar el aire, pero proporciona un calor excelente.

• Virginie (5/5): Bien mais au mois de janvier insistez pour avoir du chauffage. - Le personnel est très gentil et serviable, j'ai aimé cet hôtel intimiste. Le petit déjeuné était très bien. Enfin, l'emplacement était parfait et sure. Chambre très propre. En fait, nous avons eu très froid. La chambre du re de chaussée est humide, peu ventilée et sombre et n'avait aucun chauffage. J'avais choisit cet hôtel car il était mentionné qu'il y avait du chauffage. Je regrette de ne pas avoir demandé de changer de chambre mais nous sommes arrivés très tard et je n'avais pas imaginer que ça serait si difficile. Il semble que les chambres à l'étage possèdent vraiment un radiateur, alors soyez vigilants ! Comme ils sont gentils ne faites pas l'erreur de ne pas réclamer comme moi.

• Erika (10/5): I stay there every time I go to Mexico City. - Friendly and professional staff. Feels like living in a real mexican home, with family. Breakfast was quick, wide selection. The staff are really accommodating. For sure I will stay there again. Hot water, environmentally-friendly hotel (awareness-raising signs on using water wisely, 100% smoe-free, etc.) My stay was too short.

The hotel's owner has a great knowledge of all of the pleasures of Mexico City and often joins the diners for conversation over breakfast in the main dining room.

• Jeremy (9/5): Great location and a pleasant overall experience - A great location, and room was very comfortable, although a little small. Breakfast was fine, cooked to order. The manager was very kind and helpful, taking the time to sit with us at breakfast to advise on anything we wanted to know. Would have liked more comfortable chairs to sit in outside, and coffee making facilities in the room would have made it top notch.

Close to the bars and restaurants of the Zona Rosa and just a short hop on the metro into the centre of town. Ask for a room away from the road if arriving after a long flight on a Saturday night ;-) Staff were super accommodating and friendly.

Pequenos detalles como: el wifi puede ser débil, no proporcionan toallas para manos, la calefacción no es suficiente y las habitaciones pueden ser frías. Por último, un cepillo para limpiar el excusado podría ser buena idea.

• David (8/5): Buena opción céntrica. - La ubicación, el personal, la limpieza, la comida del restaurante, el restaurante mismo que te hace sentir como dentro de una casa, y la linda decoración mexicana. La calefacción en las habitaciones no es suficiente, y durante el invierno puede ser frío (como fue durante mi estancia). El wifi es débil en diferentes habitaciones. Algunos detalles pequeños como el no poner toalla de mano en el baño (solo proporcionan toallas grandes). Es también necesario un pequeño cepillo limpiador para la taza del baño.

• Sagi (8/5): Great place to stay for its price. - Room was pretty big and cozy, location is amazing and close to Paseo de Reforma and park. Laundry is very cheap and affordable. Staff is responsive and polite. Overall it's very nice place to stay in Mexico. Floors are noisy, every step has a squeaky sound. All facilities are old, but vintage. No coffee machines in rooms.

• David (8/5): Buena opción en el centro de la ciudad. - Me he quedado varias veces en este sitio. La ubicación es perfecta. Me gusta el estilo mexicano de la arquitectura del hotel aun cuando se encuentra en medio de la zona más moderna. El precio es razonable comparado a otros hoteles en la zona. Tienen un restaurante lindo dentro de las instalaciones donde te sientes como en casa comiendo en mesas grandes compartidas. Las ventanas no son resistentes contra el ruido y se escucha casi todo desde la calle, como gritos, autos con motor grande pasando por la calle (hay restaurantes al cruzar la calle y ese ruido llega hasta la habitación). El control de la televisión no servía. El piso de la habitación emitía ruido al caminar, lo cual me hacía sentirme muy cuidadoso para no molestar a los huéspedes debajo de mi. El wifi es lento cuando te alejas de la entrada del hotel. Mi habitación estaba en la parte trasera del hotel y en el segundo piso y el wifi era muy lento y desconectaba constantemente.

Die Anlage ist auch toll Die Bäder sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leider war es auch laut, da die Fenster keinen Lärmschutz bieten. Wer empfindlich ist braucht gute Oropax.
