- briana (3/5): - Convenient place to stay. No maintenance entire stay, so no water and or heat wasnt working well.
- Amy (1/5): Don't do it.... It will be the worst experience ever!!!!! - Nothing..... Well they could have been open for one. They were closed I booked this room and never got to stay. Nobody there. It was the worst experience ever.!!!!!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone ever.
- Phil (9/5): -
- Stephanie (5/5): You get what you pay for cheap stay close to almost everything but definitely wouldn’t stay again - Location was right on the main highway so everything was easy to get to even some walking Second night there seen bugs in the bathroom and kitchen area thankfully i was leaving in the morning , living room tv didnt work place definitely needs some updating
- johnson (1/5): I never stayed anywhere and still have not received a refund. Kind of ruined my familys Christmas - The person working scammed my family out of 185.00. Saying apartments were available then trying to put us in a small hotel room after i paid. Then would not refund of give her name. Very very upset and disappointed The staff scams people then puts them in hotel rooms instead of telling you there are no apartments available
- Currier (1/5): The place was shut down when I arrived. - When I arrived the front office was closed and the entire facility appeared to be closed for the season. There was a number posted on the office door to call and the person did kindly help me book another hotel room. The facility was very run down and almost looked derelict. I appreciated the staff being reachable by phone and helping me figure out a different place to stay without extra charges. It was weird to pull up and see it all shut down for the season. Booking.com ought to vet these places better.
- Maggie (1/5): -
- Lester (1/5): - Nothing No one was there and went to another place
- Marlene (2/5): - no avail staff at office
- John (4/5): - Convenient location and fair rates. Staff member BRIAN that worked out of the staybridge hotel is an exceptional staff member. Very helpful and all round great guy. Fold out bed was broken. Worn out and super uncomfortable. Floors were stick and dirty room stunk. Had to go get air fresheners for the rooms
- Mildred (1/5): - Nothing, was canceled on the day of my reservation without notice. The hotel had an issued and couldn’t provide the hotel any longer.
- Helen (1/5): Disaster, this does not meet definition of hotel. - The location. Communicated through Booking app during the day to change arrival time and for clarification on instructions for accessing key as there no room number in the confirmation. Received okay on arrival time and no response on key. Went from beach to "hotel" there are about 10 rooms, and 6-7 with lockboxes. Tried phone number provided for assistance, and mailbox was full. Tried the code on every room and no luck. Put messages in app and continued to call number for 30+ minutes. Got a call back from another phone number and was told housekeeper had not shown up, so a refund would be issued and there was no room available. Had been in parking lot for an hour at that point, getting dark, in our bathing suits, with our dog, and four hours from home so told guy that was not an option, we would take a dirty room. After some debate, he said he would call back, when he did said "Julie" would be there in 20-30 minutes. A nice young woman arrived 30 minutes later, got us in a room that was prepared with made bed and clean towels. While waiting, one couple arrived was on an app trying to book a room as site said one room left; another couple arrived and had a reservation and was calling the unanswered/mailbox full number. I shared what was happening with us. Later that night a third party showed up, same issue, knocking on all doors, We gave them the number of guy who sent Julie, he wasn't answering. A guy emerges from a room without a lockbox (assume people live there) with a set of keys, offers to open a room, but wasn't sure if vacant. Those people just left, not comfortable with the scene.
- dylan (1/5): We didn’t stay because the cleaners never showed and the workers did not tell us until we got there to check in. After c - Literally nothing The place is more than ran down. The screens on the windows are all ripped up, cleaners don’t show up and customer service or communication is too much to ask for.
- Patrick (1/5): - The location was misleading and it was old trailer. It smelled of mold and smoke. Everything
- Anne (3/5): Good location only perk - Location was great. Unit had no silverware (advertised fully stocked kitchen), no garbage cans or bags, bed was hard, sofa extremely uncomfortable to the point that I sat in a camping chair all week. Stuff under the bed on the floor and wadded into the curtain. Check in took almost 30 minutes of waiting for a response due to having to call/text a number. Kid showed up on a bike and gave us the key. Very poor English so some difficulty with communication.
- Ian (4/5): - The room smelled nasty. Some of the furniture was broken and unusable. We got Expedia to cancel and get a room elsewhere. Still waiting for our refund.
- JON TIMOTHY (1/5): WE DIDT STAY WE ASK FOR A REFUND THROW YOUR BOOKING .COM - NOTHING I WOULD NOT LEAVE A STRAY CAT STAY THERE ! ITS A TOTAL DUMP !!!THATS WHY I ASKED FOR E LESSA REFUND !!!! YOU SHOLD NOT ALLOW THATE ON YOUR PLACES TO STAY TAKE IT OFF YOUR WEB SITE NOW!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE ITS CONDEM NO ONE WAS THERE AT THE OFFICE IT WAS THE WRONG NUMBER TO CALL WE SET THERE FOR OVER AND HOUR SO WE LEFT WENT DOWN THE STREET AND FOUND A GREAT PLACE FOR THE SAME AMOUNT !!!IT LOOKED LIKE I WAS IN THE GETTO HOME LESS
- kathleen (2/5): Don’t reserve!! I took some photos. - it was closed, « temporarily ». i asked Hotels.com to return my $178.82, which they agreed to do, after confirming that the place was closed. I am not blaming Hotels.com-they obviously didn’t know.
i saw online that they are still « renting » rooms for this weekend at $383. Air conditioner falling out, mats ripped, curtains hanging, closed up.
- Rodney (1/5): A garbage can would have been better! - Nothing! Everything! As soon as I walked in the smell of urine surrounded the whole unit. The sofa was sunken in and filthy. The beds were small, dirty and outdated! The sink was filled with dirty dishes! Lastly the flies were plentiful!
- Chad (7/5): -
- Brian (1/5): - Location, because it was close to my family. I didn't like anything, it was dirty, no wifi, no kitchen supplies as in utensils or dishes, the curtains had stains on them and the rods were broken, the blinds had inches of dust and were broken, the sleeper couch was broken when you pulled it out, the couch was all stained, almost all the lights were burnt out, and the reason we packed up and left was because at 2 am there were cockroaches all over the bathroom and bedroom. This place was totally disgusting. I am supposed to be getting a full refund because our luggage was only there for 11 hours, we personally were only in the room for about 4 hours. We had to sleep in our car after we left at 3 am because there were no other motels with vacancy.
- Jurema (1/5): I had to give 1 star, but I would put ZERO stars... - I liked NOTHING! NO ONE SHOULD EVER STAY IN THOS ROACH INFESTED, ROOM WAS NOT ClEANED, LINEN WAS NOT CHANGED, I repeat NEVER EVER STAY HERE Everything was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. The person in charge pretty much did NOT care about our concerns, and pretty much said, "Not my problem, I'm here to answer phones." I am unable to share pictures of everything, the app will not let me, otherwise, I would show the FILTH!
- Jodi (6/5): - Decent place but the tv did not work. Only a few towels for 3 people.
- Francesca (2/5): - The pictures on Expedia are highly misleading. This was the most run-down hotel I have ever set foot in. The furniture was sagging and ripped. There were bits of duct tape all over the unit to patch up holes. The bathtub had a huge patch of duct tape, which seems to violate basic housing code. There was chewed gum stuck to the bed frame. There was sand in the pull-out couch. There was hair in the bed. The unit seemed like it had not been cleaned before my arrival. The owners of this establishment do not care about quality whatsoever. This place was so decrepit that I could not stay here and requested a refund, which I am still waiting for.
- Jessica (1/5): -
- Nikolas (1/5): -
- Michele (8/5): - The staff was very helpful. The gentleman even helped me get into My room and I really appreciate that
- horning (1/5): - The floor was dirty and there was no shower curtain .
- Kee (1/5): - No curtains, very old, dirty furnishing, bathroom was in need of remodeling as well as the rest of the room.
- BRUCE (10/5): Overall it was helpful and a good location. I was grateful I found a spot on short notice. Thank to - No breakfast to my knowledge It was basically fine. Obviously a little noisy close to the highway. I was also wondering why the site on Google quoted the price at 81.00 per night. But I only stayed one night at the cost is 246.00
- grenier (1/5): never did stay. reported failure to connect with the property management to the property,booking.com - tha place was horrible. waste and filth in the yard on the doorsteps, the office Responce from someone. For 5 hours no one returned a phone call or text message. Could not get into the unit.
- Yamei (2/5): - To bad
- Dreama (1/5): WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN! AWFUL! DIRTY! NO STAFF! - I liked that the bed linen and towels were clean. Also the location. Cleanliness was AWFUL. Everything was dirty. "Front Desk" extremely unhelpful. I was told no one would be on-site but if i needed anytging to call and someone will have the phone. I called six times and no one ever called me back. I had to clean all the surfaces we would come into contact with. Thank goodness there weren't any bed bugs (we checked). Pull out bed had springs coming out and dirty. We ended up buying an air mattress, blankets and pillows for our stay. There are four of us, the Inn knew this, yet only the bed had sheets, blankets and pillows which is fine because the pull out was awful so we wouldn't have used it. Even the couch was stained and the decorative pillows had drawings on them. We ended up putting a sheet over the couch. Literally the only clean things in our room was the bed linen and towels. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was filthy. There were no towels in the bathroom, the bedroom television was mounted with no remote. Tge live no room television remote only worked for changing the channel. Grease on the kitchen wall.. No extra linens as stated. Disgusting. Sanitized and went & purchased my own bedding. Horrible experience. Would not even shower there No garbage. Missing lightbulbs. Screen missing from front window. I couldn’t open one of the 2 windows. You should remove this “hotel, efficiency off the hotels you offer. A lot of $ for one night. Even more because I had to go buy my own towels, linens, wash clothes and sanitizing supplies
- Cheryl (2/5): - No one was there to check us all in.
- Mary (1/5): - No one was there to check us in. We had to find another hotel.
- Neal (2/5): - We got there know one there there was a disclosure to call the number on the booking for the inn. Called it 18 times from 2pm to4:30pm check in was at 4. When I called it said voicemail box full. So we found a different hotel. I would like to know how to get a refund. I will not be recommending this hoyel
- miller (1/5): Worst place I've ever known - Wouldn't know, considering i was charged a night and never got to stay. I was charged for a night I wasn't even checked in. Booked the room for Thursday, and was told to check in Friday after 4 for a week stay, yet was never given a room.
- Tracie (10/5): Absolutely beautiful and relaxing - Although I booked for this facility, booking.com had overbooked and Yosh was very accommodating and kept my price the same and got the chance to stay at the Staybridge Suites ,the old HeritageInn and the place was incredibly beautiful and amazing. Much friendlier and new staff than the Heritage Inn. It was very relaxing and quiet. I was only there for a night and wasn’t able to use all the amenities but I will definitely keep this place in mind if needed again Nothing
- Tracie (10/5): -
- kelly (9/5): -
- kelly (10/5): -
- kelly (8/5): - It's still a great place if you are traveling with a dog and on a budget. The staff has always been pleasant and kind. This time was no exception. It's not really anything I didn't like just different from previous stays. I wasn't prepared for the room not being stocked. I was expecting what had been in previous stays like coffee and cups. Utensils use to be in the rooms, along with plates, bowls, glasses, that kind of stuff. It's still a good value and " gets the job done" for my needs.
- Lorne (8/5): Reservation Problem Resolved - There was a "glitch" in the reservation process. When I arrived at the property I was told it was full. However, I made another Hotels.com reservation for the night. After my trip, working with Sony at Hotels.com and the property, my full redund was processed. Thank you Inns at Lewes and Hotels.com
- Patricia (4/5): - It needs renovations. It was filthy the lampshades were covered in dust, no one comes to see if you need linens. The closet door was broken. Both Televisions did not work. There was a couch at the dumpster for 2 weeks outside my door.
I will say the bathroom was clean & the towels were nice.
- Ed (1/5): - Went to check in at the designated time and the office was closed
Tried calling and got a recording saying voicemail was full and no answer
Ended up making a last minute call to econo lodge in rehobeth beach
Would not attempt to boob this place ever😱
- Helenmarie (10/5): -
- Williams (8/5): -
- Maria (10/5): - The sofa in the livingroom was in really bad shape
- Beverly (10/5): -
- Deb (6/5): - Staff is very accommodating, but the rooms need to be renovated-they are older apartments, which is in process of renovation. Good location.
- James (10/5): -
- Joshua (2/5): If you desperately need a place to stay!! - Stayed there a night and I regretted it I rather sleep under the bridge. The room was somewhat clean but the couch had stains and once we pulled out the couch bed the mattress was terrible. It had piss stains and everything else you can imagine. One of the worst places I stayed. Couldn’t pay me to stay there again
- Lisa Dice (5/5): Comfortable - It had two tvs. There was plenty of coffee. Bed was comfortable. No silverware or pots and pans. Coffee filter was still in coffee maker from previous person. TV remote did not control power or volume.
- Katherine (2/5): - Did not enjoy this property actually ended up leaving after an hour and driving 3 hours home
- Josue (8/5): -
- Mary (7/5): Good deal for the money - cleaning staff was great! Owners could updated furniture - Location Very outdated
- Ronald (7/5): -
- Lester (1/5): - Was there at 5:30 PM and could not get in or contact anyone, no one answered when I called so I had to go elsewhere and can't get anyone for a refund. They should run a business better than that.
- Katherine (9/5): - Lots of privacy, clean and fresh smelling accommodations. Highway noise was noticeable but not bad. Refrigerator was clean, coffee maker worked well. Price was good too.
- Mykhailo (1/5): - Nothing All
- Jscrippens82 (2/5): Worst place to stay - The location was good. The room was filthy, the floors were so dirty it turned our socks black, couldn't let the grandkids play on the floor. There were hairs in the shower, and dirt on the bathroom floor, the mattress on the pull out bed had a huge pee stain on it. We had no linens for the pull out bed and only 2 towels and washcloths for 4 people. The closet door was under the bed. The fridge was dirty, old coffee grounds left in the coffee pot. There was literally no staff there to get us anything so we had to wait until the 2nd day to get sheets for the bed and all 4 had to sleep in one bed. The assistand manager returned my call just before midnight when she got home from her other job and woke up my grandbabies. We ended up changing rooms the next day and the floors were still dirty in that room and the pull out bed was literally nothing but springs and not able to use so we had to all sleep in the one bed again. Basically it was the worst place I have ever stayed, EVER. Don't waist your time or money staying here. It is filthy and the staff has other jobs so there is like no one there to do anything if you need something. Please don't ruin your vacation by staying here. Stay anywhere else but there. You have to send a txt message to the staff and it can take them an entire day to respond to you. The office is closed and no staff most of the time. The price is rediculious for the lack of service and filthy rooms. I should have gotten a partial refund for what we went through.
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Fernandez Garcia (4/5): Regular - we didn't have a breakfast There was no attention from the office to see if i needed anything else or to change the towels, stock up on cleaning supplies, the dishes were incomplete, the air filter was too dirty with the fear that the dirt from the filter would get into my nose.
- Brittany (1/5): -
- Gabrielle (1/5): Stay away from this hotel it's a waste of money - Disgusting facility live cockroach on the counter in the morning and smelled like urine and cigarettes. Towels were dirty. Camping would have been cleaner. Waste of money we will never return
- Kimberlyn (7/5): It was convenient and affordable. It was not in the heart of things, yet close enough to the business of things. - It was convenient and affordable. It was not in the heart of things, yet close enough to the business of things. Would love that there was more frequent housekeeping.
- Injae (10/5): -
- Macfaline (7/5): Nice stay but was overcharged and keep getting the run around . - Cute and willing to work with check In time Sofa dropped back . Old coffee grounds in pot
- HDubbb (2/5): Bed Bugs. Bed Bugs. BED BUGS! - IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. Our experience at the Inn at Lewis was a complete disaster. The floors were filthy, and the bathroom had a musty smell with grimy stains on the walls and floor. The pullout couch was covered in disgusting stains and infested with bed bugs, making it uninhabitable. My wife, our two children, and I were so appalled that we didn’t even stay the night. We had to leave immediately to find another place to stay. The "children" who were running the Inn overnight offered no refund or an upgraded room, and despite over a week of trying, I still haven’t received a returned phone call from a manger. Avoid this "INN" at all costs.
- Helen (1/5): Bed bugs. Bed Bugs. BED BUGS! - Was able to check in a little early, which was appreciated. BED BUGS! Holes in walls. The room smelled of mildew & mold.
- YVONNE (1/5): Disappointed and disgusted with the condition of our room. - Location to attractions. The room looked nothing like the photos in the ad. It was a run down dump with dirty floors, broken closet doors, leaking toilet, etc. no one was available at the rental office at anytime during our stay, which was apparently planned to avoid contact and complaints.
- Kieran (4/5): - It had a kitchen and the ac worked well.
- Ellen (2/5): - Filthy property, smelly, bathroom dirty. Cannot believe Expedia would host this on their site. Plus extra $30 for dog fee, so this filthy hotel cost well over $200
- velasquez (6/5): - Lugar muy limpio y que tiene cosina Que la tv no me dió los canales de tv
- Malachi (9/5): -
- Candis (2/5): DO NOT SYAY HERE!!! - This room is deplorable. When you first walk in the smell is horrid. There are stains on the sofa bed which has no sheets. There was a whole in the closet that is trying to be disguised with tape. The toilet is dirty. There are not enough linen for the amount of ppl that are allowed to stay here. The tv doesn't work. There are stains on the curtains. There is a broken door under the bed. Dishes in the sink. I cannot believe the level of unsanitary violations this place is guilty of. There wasn't even any toilet paper! It is absurd! We were honestly scared to sleep there. Thankfully we found a hotel last minute! This has never in my life happened before. Too bad I can only add 8 pictures because I have more! Disgusting!
- Courtney (3/5): -
- William (2/5): - No office, seemed disorganized.
- William (4/5): - Pe condition.
- Jim (2/5): - Rooms. Facilities.
- dianedJ2130ZU (2/5): Horrible! - This was the worst hotel we have ever been to. It was filthy. The trash had not been emptied from previous guests. There was urine and pubic hair on toilet. The kitchen table was sticky. We left after 5 minutes. We met another couple in the parking lot. We told them about our room being uninhabitable. They said theirs was as well and they were trying to find another hotel. I can’t reach anyone about a refund. The phone messages are full and no one answers. I get errors on their website. I’ve had no response to my email. Don’t stay here!
- Diane (1/5): We didn’t stay. It was so dirty, we left after 5 minutes. - Nothing It was filthy. There is no customer service. The trash can hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests. There was urine and pubic hair on the toilet.
- Cindy (3/5): It was ok the room was dirty and they had to come clean it .. plus we were supposed to have a sofa bed and there was no - The property was okay
- Paula (9/5): -
- Michael (1/5): Very Dissappointing. One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed - Nothing Very dirty and the room smelled horrible.
- Erin (5/5): Look else where. - Water pressure was great. Easy check in. The unit wasn’t clean prior to us arriving. Old coffee filter with coffee and mold was left in be coffee pot from previous tenants. We pretty much avoid contact with anything having to do with the kitchen. We checked in with 4 people. There was 2 towels for a family of 4 for 3 days. I hate to leave bad reviews, but look else where.
- Anita (2/5): - Given this was a motel without amenities the price was extremely high. Only reason I booked was because there were no rooms available anywhere else. For the price I did expect it to at least be clean.
- Daniel (1/5): Do not stay here!!! A nightmare spot with bed bugs - Imagine a prequel to the movie Psycho and this motel is Norma’s villain origin story.
An absolutely DEMONIC stay at this sad excuse of a property!! The stench was all consuming when we arrived. There was cocaine found on the floor and after stripping back the bed cover, there were urine stains all over the sheets. There is no front office, only students living in a house who can access room keys. To top it off, we were both left with the insidious impact of a bed bug infestation. Save yourself a bunch of grief and do not book a stay here!!
- Green (1/5): Would never stay there - Nothing I didn’t stay due to unsanitary conditions.
- Diana (6/5): -
- Angela (1/5): - The room was not close and AC was not working It's not clean
- Adam (2/5): Don't do it, some of e reviews give it no justice. - Very dirty. Bugs crawling everywhere. Look like bed bugs, but im not an exterminator... which they clearly need. No additional toilet paper. Some lights/lamps didnt work. Room was in a state of disrepair at best. Smelled terrible in the room. Check in process isnt a thing. Called several times day before and day of with no response with voicemails left. Luckily was able to rouse an office person once i arrived. I could go on, but I've already spent too much time and money on a place I'll never return or recommend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget motel - We had almost no issues. This is exactly the title “a budget motel” it’s pretty rundown but they have been making minor improvements. The beds are horrifically uncomfortable though and some towels were stained. The outlets were blown out in the bedroom and chargers would fall out pretty frequently. Staff was very friendly and outgoing. It’s in a very convenient location with a lot within walking distance including a brewery!!! The room was clean with new floors and a new couch. The full size fridge was a great bonus!
- Kimberly (1/5): Horrible - The pictures in bookings m.com did not match the actual place Too many issue that should have been fixed long before my stay
- Chinedu (1/5): The worst hotel experience in my entire life, filthy, unkept a health hazard. - Honestly I have nothing good to say about this property.
And I keep wonder why the authorities still allow it to stay open. This was by far the most horrible hotel stay experience I have ever had with my family in my entire life.
When we arrived we actually thought we got the wrong address but when we approached the office a guy showed completely unprofessionally and said “you have 2 rooms right” he didn’t ask for an ID or even ask who I was.
Eventually he walked us to our 2 rooms, room 1 and room 6. It took him over 30 minutes to unlock room 1 and in my mind I kept wondering if this was a real hotel.
Eventually he was able to open the door,
And when we got in it had a terrible mildew smell and the furniture was so old and filthy, blinds dirty and unkept, the bathroom floors dirty. The place looked as if it had never been cleaned in a long time.
My wife couldn’t even sleep on the bed or the couch and had to leave at some point to sleep in the car outside.
My 2 daughters in room 6 also experienced bed bugs on the couch and filthy unwashed bed sheets.
I kept praying that morning will come quickly enough so that we can get away from the property.
I think the health authorities need to pay a visit to this property to see for themselves how much a health hazard this place poses.
I will rate this hotel a 1 star if anything like that existed.
- Dimitra (8/5): - The environment was pleasant but the bed sofa horrible.
- Marcos (1/5): - They stole my money, I went to the beach 3 weeks ago i was there at 10:30 pm the schedule say the last checking hour it’s 11:90pm when u get there no one in the office nobody pick up the phone so I had to go to another hotel and I came back to this place in the morning same thing nobody in the office and no one answer the phone and I didn’t get my money back which a paid 300 Nothing
- Richard (10/5): I would give The Inn 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Cozy and clean N/A
