• Cathleen (1/5): - L’établissement n’a fait preuve d’aucune exception suite à notre blocage en Asie avec la fermeture de l’espace aérien de notre correspondance, nous n’avons jamais séjourné dans cette hôtel qui ne s’est pas excusé de ne pas nous rembourser la somme de 800€.
• philippa (8/5): Overall good but very upset about security and someone coming into our apartment at 11.15pm. - Loved the decision of the apartment and it was very spacious. Major security issue. Another party were given keys to our apartment which appears to have been double-booked, we did not receive a satisfactory answer to this and felt compelled to carry documents and passports with us at all times.
• Jacqueline (10/5): Great apartment, but terrible checkin experience. - The location is wonderful. The apartment itself is very nice and is well stocked. We had a wonderful stay here. Checkin was chaotic to say the least. I spoke with 3 different reception staff. The first 2 would say that they would help me soon and told me to take a seat. Then I was told the room was ready but they were busy checking someone else in and to take a seat - in which time we were forgotten. At one point, the receptionist ignored us while she made drinks for a couple who had arrived to have a meeting to book the hotel for their wedding. It was truly a bizarre experience. Then I watched as several other people were served. So I apporached a 3rd receptionist who seemed to have just started her shift. When she realised that we had been waiting over an hour to check in - she was very apologetic and I could tell she was quite aghast as to how we had been treated. She at least offered me a complimentory drink. We had gottten off a 29 hr flight from Australia and were exhausted so not in the mood for a difficult checkin. We eventually got into our apartment around 4 pm - an hour past the checkin time - despite it being ready all that time - and over 2 hours since we had arrived to check in. The service at the front desk is really terrible - At one point I considered checking into another hotel as I didn't think they would ever give us keys to our room. Another issue is that our apartment was up 2 flights of very steep stairs. I didn't realise this when I booked. My daughter and I had to lift our suit cases ourselves up the stairs ( and then down the stairs at checkout). The hotel wont help you. while I was fit enough to do this, If you have any mobility issues than this is not the apartment for you. There is also an issue with the keys. You are only given a single key and the doors are deadlock doors - so you need the key to open it from the inside. So if I went out with the key but left my daughter inside, I had to deadlock her in - which is extremely dangerous from a fire safety perspective as she could'nt get out.

• Abbie (9/5): Amazing location, we walked into central each day and got the number 17 tram back every night. Tram stop is literally 2 - So spacious, the loft bedroom really does make you feel like you have a whole house. There is a nice modern food court behind the property which we ate at a lot although there’s loads of options around there Signage could be a little better to direct you to this apartment but we did find it after looking for 5-10 mins. There is 1 small window in the lounge area but does lack a little ventilation

• Emily (5/5): Over priced - A good location Limited kitchen that you couldn't really cook in. The bedroom window wouldn't close and in bad weather would swing open, which got our clothes wet as in the roof. In addition, there is an awful pigeon infestation on the roof, with windows closed it doesn't wake you too much, but open and it's awful. Forth floor so lots of stairs with luggage and children which we weren't warned about and struggled with. You can't control the heating. It was cold on the first day, but they increased it for the rest of our stay. No English channels/options for children. So 3 tellys, but no opportunity for children to relax. A lot of money for basic facilities.

• havva (10/5): Romantiche ervaring - Zeer uitstekend verblijf , kamer was echt superschool en alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig . Tot nu toe één van de beste apartmen mooie locatie was wel eventjes zoeken . Zeker een leuk ervaring geweest . Wat was alles netjes echt topp dankjulliewel ♡

• Lee (7/5): - Location, layout, easy access to transport & services The instructions for checking in were non existent. Unfortunately, check in was a monstrous faff! I arrived very near the location initially using Google maps. Then was unable to locate the apartment, a concierge or any info regarding check in. I rang the number on the booking and fortunately wasn't cut off after the 4th phone call! It was then explained to me that check in was at a hotel nearby (the hotel owns the apartments). Once at the hotel the procedure for checking in was quite normal. Then, directions to the apartment were needed! "Walk up the street, into the shopping arcade, then the apartments are located every other door interspersed between the shops". "Ok fine, thank you". "How do I identify the correct door, does it have a sign or number for example". "Yes it does, your apartment is number 11 and the door you want is identified as number 7. Well that seems straightforward enough!

• HALINA (10/5): Highly recommended. It was perfect for our family. - I really liked the apartment. Clean, lots of space. Despite the previous reviews, it was quiet and cozy. The apartment had everything you needed. The linen and towels are snow-white. The heating can be adjusted using a special control panel. You will find a guide to it in the information materials, which will be given to you along with the keys at the reception. We set it up and it was very warm. Highly recommended. It was perfect for our family. There were inaccuracies in the information letter from the hotel that were unclear to me. After I made a clarifying request, everything was explained to me. The response to my request came only the next day. The wait and uncertainty caused some inconvenience.

• Bassem (6/5): The place is nice but the management could do better to investing a couple of thousand euros not more. - Spacious and well lit. The main door didn’t lock. No AC and quite hot in the upper part of the loft when the bed is. The drying machine doesn’t work well. The dishwasher is old and rusty. The furniture is old especially the one seater. There’s only 2 cutlery set, so have to wash them often.

• Morgen (7/5): - Location was good, lots of cafes and public transport nearby. Apartment was spacious, beds comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job. Apartment looked clean on the surface but the grout at the bottom of the shower needs a good scrub. We found empty chip packs and kid drinks from previous guests under the bed. We had a problem with the heating, contacted reception for help. They said someone would ring us but we never got a call - we ended up downloading the manual, translating it and resetting it ourselves the following day.

• Gauchet (10/5): Appartement spacieux et très agréable - Taille de l’appartement, propreté, équipements, situé à proximité du foodhallen et d’une station de tram pour rejoindre le centre.
• Heinz (5/5): - Außerhalb des Zentrums (40 Minuten Fußweg zum Bahnhof), aber direkt an den Foodhallen, daher perfekt für schlechtes Wetter. Trotz der Lage war die Wohnung sehr ruhig. Schlüsselübergabe im nahen Hotel, Wegbeschreibung zum Apartment sehr "rudimentär", war nicht leicht zu finden. Die Wohnung verfügt über keine funktionierende Heizung. Es gab zwei kleine Elektroöfen, nicht groß genug für die Fläche - muss man wissen, wenn man im Herbst/Winter plant. Mit Ausnahme des sehr schönen Badezimmers ist die Einrichtung sehr lieblos, teilweise provisorisch (fehlende Fußleiste am Küchenblock, wirkt zusammengewürfelt) - schade, da ist mit kleinem Aufwand viel mehr möglich.

Have stayed here before when service and accommodations were better - In quiet part of the city but still accessible to the city center and other parts of Amsterdam Staff seemed like they were hired the day before. Service has gone way down. WiFi didn’t work and you can no longer put drinks in the hotel lobby boom your room. You have to use credit card / cash. Just overall not what it use to be hotel de hallen

• Leanne (7/5): Amazing Amsterdam - The flat was.in a modern development and was surrounded by shops, bars and other facilities. It was spacious and a gallery room. Perfect for a couple to.explore the city. We will book again for the Spring. Very limited kitchenware,plates and chopping boards to prepare food, plus the heating was extremely hot.. Initially difficult to find the reception, maybe the apartment could have directions.on the door or something.

• Paul-adrien (5/5): Très sympa à première vue mais trop de détails problématiques - Appartement très spacieux, bien équipé en terme de vaisselle, serviette ou produits de toilette gratuit par exemple. Literie de bonne qualité et spacieuse. Salle de bain agréable mais sans fenêtre. Le logement était à première vue très sympathique mais de nombreux détails laissaient à désirer : - Très compliqué à trouver car il faut d'abord s'enregistrer à la réception de l'hôtel De Hallen qui n'est pas du tout situé à la même adresse, nous avons tourné en rond un bon moment et avons du appeler pour le trouver - Pas de plaids, de couvertures supplémentaires ou de torchons à disposition - Quelques lumières et interrupteurs de fonctionnaient pas (appartement assez sombre en journée) - Aucun porte serviette dans la salle de bain - Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas (malgré une notice fournie, impossible à activer) - Il y avait des travaux dans le petit passage où nous étions qui ne cessaient pas avant 22h (!!) - Certaines vitres n'étaient pas du tout isolées (si quelqu'un avait le malheur de passer avec une cigarette, nous étions enfumés) - Certains meubles étaient très abimés (entre autre, la tête de lit qui était déchirée ++) - Toutes les portes étaient équipées de groom, ce qui était à la longue un peu pénible et pas moyen de les enlever Tous ces points sont de l'ordre du détail mais, mis tout ensemble, cela a causé notre déception et nous ne pensons pas que ce soit à la hauteur du prix.

• Juliette (9/5): - It was bigger than we expected, and very comfortable for our family group of four. It is in a great location away from the craziness but close enough to walk (or tram) to the centre, steps away from the wonderful De Hallen food and creative space and a fun street market was only a couple of streets away. Was the perfect choice for our 7 night stay. Nothing- we were very happy.

Bad war feucht( Decke blättert ab, Badmöbel nass, Silberfische). Apartment wurde nicht richtig gereinigt. Heizung wurde nicht warm max 19,5 Grad.

• Raymond (10/5): Local vibes and tons of space - It is in a very cool location near a food hall and tons of shopping. You have so much space it feels like you can really spread out. The space is basically 3 stories with the front door leading upstairs to the living room with the bedroom on the third floor. Its nice! I could be critical of only the lack of blackout curtains behind the bed. The shutters only block like 75% of the light so it gets pretty bright. If youre a light sleeper bring a sleep mask. This does not effect the rating though, its still 10/10 for the price we paid.

• Dominik (6/5): Schönes Apartment (jedoch hellhörig), aber unpraktische Schlüsselabholung - Die Lage war sehr gut! Supermärkte und diverse Haltestellen sind in der Nähe. Das Apartment für sich genommen ist sehr schön. Es ist groß, hat ausreichend Möbiliar und überhaupt ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Das Hotelpersonal bei Check-in und Check-out war sehr freundlich. Da das Apartment vom Hotel getrennt ist, holt man den Schlüssel nicht am Apartment ab, sondern beim Hotel (2 Straßen weiter). Diese Information hat man jedoch nicht bekommen. Wir haben das durch Hin- und Hergooglen irgendwann herausgefunden. Das war sehr umständlich und könnte durch eine einfache, automatisierte Nachricht via Booking-Chat umgangen werden. Die Halle, an der das Apartment liegt, ist sehr hellhörig. Wann immer jemand nachts durch die Halle geht oder wann immer sich dort Menschen unterhalten, hört man es sehr deutlich. Es gab lediglich zwei kleine Bodenfenster zu öffnen. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war sehr gering. Das WLAN war sehr langsam.

• Patrizia (6/5): Tutto bene, ma non se fa tanto caldo e volete passare tempo in casa durante il giorno - Bellissima posizione, bagno nuovo e pulito con doccia magnifica, letto comodo, appartamento spazioso. Siamo stati ad Amsterdam in giorni abbastanza caldi (25-30 gradi) e l’appartamento era molto caldo. L’aria condizionata in realtà è un sistema di areazione mal funzionante e rumoroso, che non rinfresca l’appartamento (forse lo scalda in inverno?), le finestre non si aprono e il risultato è un’aria di pessima qualità che ci ha fatto venire il mal di gola notturno. Abbiamo chiesto di risolvere la situazione ma abbiamo capito che non era risolvibile perché non si tratta di un guasto ma dello stato delle cose. L’appartamento ha delle enormi finestre molto belle, coperte però da tendoni lunghissimi di difficile apertura, il risultato è che l’appartamento è buio e l’effetto claustrofobico. Entrambe i televisori non funzionano. La rete Wi-Fi funziona bene ma la password va cercata sul modem, non sul foglio fornito al momento del check in.
