- Ewa (10/5): - Quinta do Outeiro is a fantastic accommodation within an old estate recovered with a great taste and attention to detail. It is beautifully located within an impressive winery with Douro view. But we are always especially impressed by the great staff, that is always available to help you with any needs you may have, and go the extra mile to make your stay meet your expectations (which is especially impressive considering the big number of great employees we had chance to be interacting with across last 2 years). It is our n.1 'go to' destination for rural break and Douro trips and events in the area with 4th visit behind us and definitely more to come!

- Ashleigh (10/5): Paradise - What an amazing place ! We were blown away from the first second we arrived and couldnt have been happier with our stay. Felipe was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to ensure our stay was as good as it could be. We stayed in Casa Do Caseiro and the house itself was incredible, a home from home. A dining area and pool just outside the house, meant there wasnt far to go. The views of the valley were unbeatable. The best place we have ever stayed. The only criticism is that the photos don't seem to justice to how beautiful this place is. Thank you !!
- Lee (10/5): - What a beautiful property! The main villa is absolutely gorgeous. Unbelievable views of the Douro Valley. It is quiet, peaceful and so charming. Amazing it is also a working winery. Walks through the vineyards and gardens were so relaxing. The chapel is beautiful and they host weddings in the salon. Truly an amazing place and location. We didn’t get to meet the entire staff but Vera and Felipe were so warm and friendly. Felipe had many recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Took the train from nearby Ermida to Pinhão. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day.

The property is breathtaking, our room was full of European charm, and breakfast was delicious. Not to mention the complimentary bottle of their amazing wine you receive as a guest. This was just a one night stay for us, but wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Portugal. 💕
- James (10/5): - We highly recommend this property. The room was large and beautiful. We stayed in the Dona Maria room in the manor. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were all very good. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool (one of 3!). Such a relaxing stay after the drive on the twisty, narrow roads! We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed longer. Loved it!

- Michael (10/5): Portugal 2022 - This property is amazing. It is located in the heart of the Douro Valley and about 10 minutes drive to Resende although it is a very winding road, but beautiful scenery. The breakfast was very good and the outdoor areas relaxing and quiet.

The staff was extremely friendly, the manager of the property gave us a tour so we got to see the wine production facilities and the chapel. We travel a lot both for business and privately but this must have been one of the best places we ever stayed. Highly recommended .

- José (10/5): Estadia curta numa Quinta de qualidade excelente. - Toda a quinta está incrivelmente bem cuidada, desde os jardins à casa principal, assim como os alojamentos em casas independentes. Casa: A Casa do Caminho, onde ficámos alojados tem excelentes condições, muito bem equipada, com espaço para 6 pessoas, sem problemas. Tem anexo um espaço, com mesa e grelhador, para convívio e refeições. Piscinas: As piscinas são fantásticas, sobretudo a da casa principal, pelas vistas e dimensões. Pessoal: Todo o staff é extremamente atencioso e simpático. Nada a apontar.
- Missy (8/5): - This gorgeous Quinta is a working farm in the middle of the Douro Valley. The grounds and views Are spectacular, the accommodations rustic yet comfortable and the staff extremely hospitable. It is a bit challenging to get to anything in this area due to the natural terrain that includes twisting roads. But it’s part of the experience and well worth the effort to find.

- Larry (10/5): - Beautiful room and location at a good price. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Easy parking on site. Only "problem" was walk up the hill to our room (separate building) after breakfast... but the room was worth it. A little out of the way- but only 5 minutes to Resende.

This place is nicer than it's pictures. I hope to come back and stay sometime.
- Marianne (10/5): Fantastisk Quinta i vackra omgivningar. - Mycket vacker Quinta med ett fantastiskt läge och utsikt högt över Douro, fin trädgård med vackra växter och egna vinodlingar runt omkring. Fint och bekvämt rum (i huvudbyggnaden) med stort badrum och utsikten över trädgård och Dourodalen. Trevlig personal. Enda som saknades var restaurang i närheten. (Närmaste ca 5 min med bil). Dock håller en restaurang på att färdigställas vid hotellet, vilken ska bli klar senare i höst. Blir perfekt. En fantastisk byggnad med stor vacker matsal och terrass utanför. Kanske något för kommande större tillställningar, bröllop el liknande? Tillgång till bar med diverse drycker finns just nu och god frukost. Allt igenom ett mycket trevligt ställe.
- Lotta (10/5): - Vackert och trevligt boende i fantastisk miljö. Trevlig och väldigt hjälpsam personal. Vi kände oss väldigt välkomna och uppskattade som gäster. När restaurang, bar & vinkällare öppnas nästa år kommer det än mer lyfta denna pärla. Vi gjorde utflykter längs Douro floden till vingårdar men tillbringade även en dag vid poolen. Enda nackdelen var att det idag inte fanns något matställe inom gångavstånd. Men väl fungerande kök för egenhushåll. Vi bodde tre väninnor i Casa Do Caserio. Rekommenderas varmt!

- Nathalie (8/5): Site magique - Nous avons eu une superbe chambre avec terrasse privative dans la maison la première nuit et c’etait vraiment très bien. La deuxième nuit nous avons dû changer et aller dans une suite. Il s’agit en fait de petits appartements avec coin cuisine mais la chambre et la salle de bain sont plus petites et la terrasse est sur l’arriere donc sans vue. Et surtout très bruyant avec le logement d’a côté. On entend même les personnes ronfler. Petit déjeuner bon, pâtisseries et fruits frais mais jus industriel.

- Johnny (10/5): Fantastisk Quinta med Douro-utsikt. - Otroligt vackert belägen Quinta med vackra omgivningar. Välkomnande och mycket vänlig värd tog hand om oss på bästa sätt. Fint och stort rum som hade direktkontakt med poolområdet. God frukost och en vacker parkanläggning gjorde vår vistelse minnesvärd - vi kommer tillbaka. Tyvärr var det svårt att hitta bra restauranger i närheten vilket Quintan kommer att rätta till genom att bygga en egen restsaurang - klar 2019 förhoppningsvis.

- Mario (10/5): Stilvolles Herrenhaus mitten im Weinberg - Inmitten eines Weinberges, etwas abseits der eigentlichen Ortschaft, erwartet dieses frühere Herrenhaus seine Gäste. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Balkon und Blick auf den Pool. Unser Zimmer war groß, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad war größer als manch anderes Hotelzimmer selbst. Das Frühstück war klasse, selbst frisches Obst wurde immer wieder nachgelegt. Einziges Manko: Es gibt in fußläufiger Entfernung kein Restaurant. Wenn man also abends essen will, muss man also nochmal wegfahren. Oder man deckt sich so wie wir unterwegs mit Leckereien ein (Brot, Käse, Schinken, Oliven, Wein) und genießt den Abend auf der Terrasse.

- Pepper (10/5): Two days in the Douro - A friend and I spent a relaxing two days at Quinta do Outeiro. We had a private villa overlooking the vineyards and Douro Valley. A great place to relax and zone out. Driving is abut tough: narrow twisting roads up the mountain but only adds to the isolated charm of the place. A great place to unwind and recharge your batteries!

- Leslie (10/5): Our favorite place in Portugal - We have never stayed in a more lovely place. The Quinta is situated high on a hill overlooking the Doure River and its beautiful terraced vineyards. Everything was thought of in the restoration of this beautiful property. The gardens date from the early 1900's and are studded with giant camelias, orange trees, calla lilies and more. They are ornamented by a small pond with fountain and very original garden structures. After a beautifully presented breakfast we walked through the vineyards and orchards and took in the views over the valley. We toured the stone guest cottages with above the main house with Adriano and hope to come back with family to stay in one of them, as with the main house everything has been thought of. Adriano gave us lots of good advice and speaks English. We cannot say enough about the caring and considerate help, Bania and Rosa provided. They were truly interested in making us feel at home. The Quinta is located a little outisde the town of Resende and it is easy to explore the beautiful Doure Valley from there. We truly hope to return. Thank you to all the staff.
