maria judith (7/5): Avisar con tiempo de los cambios para poder decidir - Limpio, bien ubicado Cuando llegué me dijeron que no tenían disponible la habitación compartida porque estaban en obras. Me ofrecían una privada por 5 dólares más. Ya les expliqué que eso no era mi problema, que no me habían avisado antes y eso que habíamos estado en contacto el día anterior. La solución fue no subirme el precio, darme la privada y quitarme el desayuno. No discutí, no me fui , cansada del viaje y acepté. Pero no me gustó el trato.

La chambre était très propre avec un excellent travail de la part du personnel de ménage. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne parfaitement, ce qui est appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et permet de bien commencer la journée. L’hôtel bénéficie d’une excellente localisation, en plein centre historique, idéale pour découvrir la ville à pied. Enfin, l’établissement est sécurisé, avec une porte d’entrée fermée 24h/24, ce qui apporte un vrai sentiment de tranquillité.

Udo (9/5): Erwartungen erfüllt. - Ein schön verwinkeltes, fast "romantisches" Hotel mit blühenden Geranien in allen Ecken. Liegt zentral am Rande der Altstadt. Hilfsbereites Personal, das uns auch zum Einchecken um 4 Uhr in der Nacht noch die Tür aufgemacht hat. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt lecker. Die Zimmer sind etwas kalt, das gilt aber offenbar generell für Räume im andinen Ecuador und liegt auch an der Dicke der Mauern.
Križma (9/5): If you want to make the most of your time and be close to the center, I recommend this Hostel. - The location of the accommodation is more than exclusive, about 3 minutes walk to the center. Relatively quiet location, despite the traffic in the city center. Very helpful staff and always smiling - friendly. I have no reservations.

Ruth (10/5): Loved our stay! - Beautiful property in the historic area. Lovely staff. They offer laundry at an additional but reasonable price and it was ready the next day. Breakfast included was slightly different each day and the morning we had an early trip booked, they gave us packaged up sandwiches. Shower was lovely and warm, bed comfy. It can get quite cold at night but they give you plenty of blankets. Literally the only thing we can think is lack of plugs by the bed but honestly that's a non-issue really!

Le personnel est très courtois. L'accès à Netflix et Youtube est un avantage de plus. Le matelas avait de l’âge, odeur dans la salle de bain.

Wendy (6/5): - The room was comfortable size as advertised. The bed and pillows were soft and we slept well. It is a quiet street and the room was also quiet and good for resting. The shower did not really get hot, only warm. Sometimes there would hot water for a few seconds then barely warm again. We tried several tricks to get hot water (use low pressure, turn off ffor short period then on for hot water, run for long time to wait for hot, etc) but it stayed only warm. Our Spanish language skills are basic so we did not try to explain the problem to the hotel staff.

The room was above the main courtyard so it was quite loud with the bell and people having breakfast/being in the courtyard. The only window also faced onto the courtyard/corridor so there wasn't much privacy. The shower also leaked.
Monica (5/5): Friendly staff, room/ bathroom needs improvements - The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and gave great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. The free breakfast is delicious. The rooftop was nice to hang out on. They provide free water. We have some suggestions for improvements for the room, because if these things are improved, it could be so much better. I wish we had a better stay because the staff is so friendly and kind, but we did not. Our room smelled like sewer backup that was coming up from the floor drain/toilet in the bathroom. It also smelled like mold and the room felt damp. The shower door leaked water over the floor and the toilet tank was making a hissing sound. The mattress felt like springs and the pillows were thin. We would not stay here again.

Fei Phil (7/5): Great place of only details are addressed - Layout really ideal. Breakfast good and staff excellent. Hooks and hangers!! How else to hang anything. Loft below ceiling extremely dangerous to bump head. Paint a different color or something for eyes to catch before disaster. Lastly, confirmation did not say sharing bath. I could have had single room with bath at same price with a bigger bed. Your description could be more overt. The door noise in the sharing corner not nice.

Valeria (6/5): Friendly staff but very precarious - It is well located and the staff is very friendly and helpful . If you are on a low budget go ahead but the bed was highly uncomfortable very hard like sleeping on a table and the shower was cold (I tried in the night and in the morning, cold all the time ) and it seems that is the norm because I asked and no one was surprised . The place is very precarious. For 20 more dollars you can find way better places around the corner. I had a reservation for 2 nights, after one night I decided to leave, on my check out time I told them and even with a cold shower they didn’t hesitate to charge me the 2 nights! And cash as the card machine wasn’t working. I don’t recommend this place at all!! I stayed in 5 other places across Ecuador and this was the worst by far.

Kevin Paul Muñoz Bernal (9/5): Hotel acogedor - Las instalaciones del hotel son cómodas y acogedoras, el personal que labora es excelente el trato que nos dan y la orientación es muy buena y resaltan por su amabilidad y hospitalidad; así mismo, sirven un desayuno agradable. Cuando se hizo la reserva por la plataforma no se especifica que el baño será compartído, adicional a ello el internet presentaba fallas, en algunas ocasiones se tuvo que avisar a recepción que lo reinicien; así mismo la ubicación es buena, pero está en el límite con la zona peligrosa de Quito.

Nikhil_A_Pai (6/5): Bad layout, Good location - The good - great location, staff were pleasant and helpful. nice view from the terrace The bad - The room was badly designed / laid-out (having to choose between ventilation and privacy, barely enough space to move around), the shower area leaked leaving the floor wet in the rest of the toilet floor wet. There was no space to hang a set tool except right over the toilet bowl. The staircase to access the second floor seemed dangerous with a second flight starting in the middle of another.
