Berny (2/5): - they offered no soap,lotion, bath towels nothing as well as no eating untensild just a room wit a bed, fridge and bathroom ABSOLUTE WORST!
Molly (6/5): - This hotel seems to be a mostly residential property with locals and is a bit rough around the edges, so you gotta be comfortable with that. The check in process was a bit stressful, we didn’t get the code as promised and had to enter through the back gate and find someone to call the manager. But - the room was clean, spacious, comfy and a nice base to explore LA- in between downtown and the cooler suburbs of echo park and silver lake, and further, Hollywood. A good selection of supermarkets nearby. Note the room has cooking facilities but no crockery/cutlery, hot water or stuff to cook with so you gotta byo or improvise with the microwave. The pool was pleasant and aesthetic. All in all we had a great stay, thank you.

Oswaldo (8/5): It works well for a solo few days staying! - It's hard to say because the place is under renovation these days so I didn't see any stuff really. Front desk guy was very nice when I checked in but front desk was close on weekends.
Richard (2/5): - After we booked we got a message saying check in closed at :30. My husband wasn't flying in until 10, so I had to leave work early to get there in time. I arrived at 6:25 and the place was locked up and the lights were off. There was a family in a car who had been there an hour who also could not check in. We were lucky that a friend let us crash on his couch a few miles away. I assume the family slept in their car. We could not get a refund for that first night. The room was never cleaned. In the 5 days we were there we got 1 fresh towel. The bathroom window did not close and overlooked a 24 hour car wash, so there was constant noise and chemical smells in the room. There were no hangers in the closet, no chair for the table, no soap in the shower, no cups or glasses, no pictures on the wall. Very depressing place.

Francisco (8/5): - It was good for the price. However there is not 24 hour concierge and once the are fully booked, no one is around the property - they do have a number you can call in case you lose you keys or emergency, but it takes 20 to 45 minutes.

The rooms are bare minimum, beds are uncomfortable, floors were dirty, bathroom had no ventilation and was moldy. Still trying to get a refund for my early check out. I definitely would not stay there again.

J (6/5): - I rented this property for a week because I needed to be near downtown and wanted cheaper than the big tower hotels. Note that the office is not open all night, so the microwave in there is inaccessable to nuke a breakfast items before leaving early morning. They do have fridge in the room. Parking lot at night is a bit scary. Staff were find. I get the feeling the back half of the rooms might be month to month.
Stephen (8/5): Affordable and clean in LA - The check in is easy. The front desk is courtesy and friendly. This is a NO SMOKING establishment. I'm a smoker and I had to step outside. Although the surrounding area is not the best and brightest of LA, this place provides. An affordable and clean place to rest. Clean is important. And this place is ... Clean.

Krissy (4/5): It's a place to stop - I miss read the rating. I thought it was 3 out of 5 stars not 3 out of 10. This pictures of the room are accurate. The room had updated paint, flooring and bedding. The beds were adequate. However, that is where it stops. The room needed a thorough cleaning of the walls and baseboards. The location was less than desirable. The Starbucks next door is brand new and helped with the bad location. We were traveling through LA and only stayed one night. I would not recommending this location for more than a place to sleep and shower. The neighborhood is very rough.

Checkout was at 11 but nobody was at the front desk to assist me. Luckily my deposit was on my debit card so I was able to leave my key card at the desk and leave. If I had a cash deposit, I would have had to wait until front desk got back from lunch.
Barry_Macocknya (6/5): Decent. - Not bad for the price. The room was a little weathered and had a faint smell of urine. The staff was super helpful. Parking was alright, kind of tight but I was able to find a spot. Fresh water in the lobby. Nice location close to Downtown.
Skeggyboy8 (2/5): Excellent staff, awful room - We were moved here as original hotel was closed when we arrived in LA. Needs a total refurbishment. Rooms tired and shabby, carpet horrible! Bathroom very old with mould and dirt everywhere. The only plus was friendly staff and central location in downtown LA. Felt short changed as the hotel we had booked had newly modernised rooms. Would not have stayed here through choice!

Did not want to try out the pool. The tv was working, but that’s probably it, as nothing else was. It was easy to check in and out.

You get what you pay for: no frills check in, a comfy bed and fairly clean room. The pool was an added bonus to cool down in. Free parking and free wifi were great. Location was just a short uber ride to the main city.
alexandradR5718XZ (4/5): Dangerous Neighborhood! - It was my first time in Los Angeles, but I feel like the online pictures with the rooms and the pool fooled me and my friends. We were all excited about the pool, which looks pretty good in the pictures, but it was really dirty. I can't say that the room was dirty, but it had a specific smell. The shower worked alright, but the bathtub wasn't clean so we don't recommend you to take a bath there! When we wanted to take a shower we stepped in the bath tube with the flip flops on. Even though the metro station is pretty close, we didn't feel safe at all in that area so we only traveled by car. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, far from anything. I don't recommend this place for more than one night.

mcgee89 (8/5): Good stay over location - As stated in the reviews below the location isn't great. However the rooms and staff are. At check in we'd had a really long flight, a long cab ride and were worried about the location we'd just passed through, especially our cab drivers warnings! So when we arrived to be treated in such a warm and friendly manner it was really relaxing. The room itself was on the ground floor and was spotless. Really comfortable bed and pillows, the bathroom was also spotless. The quality of the room alone is such high standard and was only a $5 cab to the Amtrak. It's perfect if all you need is a place to sleep and boy - did we sleep well!
DayTrip709803 (6/5): Pod Inn LA - Its rough and ready, the rooms are clean but the carpet is disgusting. The internet is patchy. You get what you pay for. The buses are very close so that is a bonus. The neighbor hood seams rough. But there are a few good takeaway shops. Plus a laundromat just down the road.
gabrielmoe (8/5): Nice Budget inn - Situated in the downtown area of Los Angeles. The rooms are wide. Parking is free and a few lots in hotel compound so not a limited ones. Located just next to Thai restaurant which is a nice one. Nice Budget one in the downtown LA.

grantmH435UC (2/5): What a dump! - Where do I start! Our First room had water leaking from the toilet all over the bathroom floor. We were then moved to another room . We had to ask for the curtains to be replaced as they didn't cover the windows at all.There was no phone in the room, a door that didn't line up properly, no sound proofing what so ever. The traffic noise was really loud. We heard constant ambulance sirens as the hospital was close by. You could hear people coming & going from neighboring rooms. Spent the first night awake all night, as I was concerned for our safety. Worst place I have ever stayed. They will not refund as they know if they did no one would stay.

ricoh967 (6/5): Good stay if you are on a budget - I chose this hotel because I just needed a place to stay for the night instead of a place to relax. It was a clean room with a decent shower and a nice comfy bed. Even though it was a motel, there was a pool, and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. The neighborhood, on the other hand, was pretty questionable, but there were no problems. With all that said, I would say here again.
carienv2015 (6/5): Ok-ish last minute accommodation - Due to plans changing I stayed here for a week. The room and bathroom was clean and looked like the pictures I saw on the website. It was the ground floor room right accross from the office. I didnt find the place to be super noisy (and I am a light sleeper). The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean,wifi worked fine,the aircon worked fine and the TV worked fine. I used the vending machine once late at night and got a few different things and that seemed to work fine too.The guy behind the desk when I checked in was friendly and helpful. I got warned not to walk in the street and to be careful by a few different taxi drivers during my stay and I def did not feel safe to walk around the area so I did not however I did not feel unsafe in my room. My experience of this place was that it was a fair price for what I got. I didnt know it was in a bad part of town untill I got there and certainly would have appreciated knowing that before booking but other than that I had no complaints.
veenavkulkarni (4/5): Very costly for what it offeres (if at all) - Pros : big room cons : no intercom, very very poor wifi (like no wifi), bathroom door it extremely tough to open (i felt i'm locked inside for several times), there was no cloth hanger inside the bathroom,downtown (unsafe) area, very noisy (you can listen to a person who's just talking in the passage outside), there was no water in the vending machine, no SAFE inside the room and very costly like almost $102 with tax!
