- Michael (8/5): - Decent place and location. Rooms have what you need and are comfortable. Shower kind of sucked, water flow is low and hard to adjust. Needs some maintenance and repair.
- Laureen (10/5): - Cute Mexicsn Hotel in rhe north side of Melaque near the ocean and beach bars
- Victor (6/5): - The A/C didn’t cool and is noisy,
The water in the shower trickles down, no pressure, makes for a bad shower and there are no floor mats, (slippery floor)
Very basic facility!

- Brian (6/5): One day stay - I picked the JR suit but they only have AC in the bedroom so the rest of the suit was too hot to stay in. AC in the room was very noisy to the point of keeping me from sleeping. Only parking is on the street but since it was off season I found a spot in front of the hotel. No staff was around in the morning to check me out.
- Erica (10/5): - The property itself is a bit far from the center of town, but worth it. Walkable to the beach, extremely clean, and extremely friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.
- Robert (10/5): Nice hotel in laid back San Patricio - Very clean and well-run hotel in quiet area only steps from the beach and surrounding restaurants.

- Kathy (10/5): Awesome place friendly people - Had an awesome 3 night clean communal kitchen if needed, all guests seamed to be repeat ones they have 5 o'clock drinks on the roof. They were very helpful even finding us a spot for they were booked and we had to move on.

- Jorge Alberto Aguirre (10/5): - This is not a luxury but a modest property which is clean and comfortable. The owners are who work the facility and they were courteous and engaging.
My use of the hotel room was mostly for sleeping and cooling off in the middle of the day. Overall I rate it as excellent understanding the price range and category of Hotel Bahia. Two thumbs up!!

- Jacob (10/5): Nice place, good value - My room a double with kitchen and full bathroom. The size was very comfortable. The ventilation and A/C were both good. The linens were clean and comfortable. The hot water was nicely hot and long-lasting. The towels were the softest I had experienced in a long time. The pool was clean and pleasant. The overall grounds were well maintained and comfortable to move about.
The only recommendation I would make to the hotel would be to clean the shower heads with something that eats away the oxidization. It takes 10 minutes of soaking and pays off with a much nicer shower experience (effort = 2; benefit = 5).
Value for price was about right. I usually hope for something of this level to be around 600/night. It was for 700/night. Still a pretty good value.
- Barry (8/5): - Nice location on a quiet street. Clean and comfortable. It's situated within easy walking distance of the centre of town
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great layout, shared kitchen, and very clean. Half a block from the ocean, and easy walk to centre of town.
- Adriana de los Angeles (6/5): - La Señora de recepción nada amable, ninguna cultura de servicio.
- William (10/5): Great place to stay - My Daughter and I stayed at the the Hotel Bahia for our two week vacation and can report that it was excellent: The staff are at your service and there to make your stay enjoyable; Our room supplied us with all the comforts of home, the kitchen was equipped with all the essentials we were only a few short steps from the beach , and the Bikes that are available are in good order if you want to adventure out further from the Hotel and Beach. The wifi was a little on the week side as we were at the very far end away from the router but other than that we had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bahia
- Oscar (8/5): BUENa ESTANCIA - BIEN EN GENERAL
- Todd (8/5): - Internet could be better and the beds were very hard but overall it was a great place to lay your head for the night!!
- Stephany (10/5): - The Hotel Bahia is on a wonderful beach with small waves which make for perfect swimming. There are restaurants nearby, a communal kitchen, friendly staff and I always stay there when I am in Melaque.
- Donna (10/5): Great room, location and value! - Beautiful, rustic hotel steps from the beach. We absolutely loved it! There’s no elevator though, so be prepared for stairs!
- Verified traveler (10/5): friendly owners, nice location, clean comfy beds, - would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melaque
- Cheryl (8/5): - I like this hotel because the staff is helpful, even if their English is limited. The shared kitchen enables one to meet some other tracellers. It is close enough to the beach and restaurants there.
- Evelyn (8/5): comfortable hotel near beach - The Bahia was very nice, comfortable and clean. I'll definitely go back.
- Stephany (10/5): This won't be my last visit. - This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and it won't be the last. I love the convenience to the beach and the quiet and parking.
- David (8/5): Hotel Bahia, Melaque - Recommended by friends, the Bahia was a quaintly pleasant old-style Mexican hacienda-style hotel. Close to beach bars and cafes, it was convenient, for sure, and a short walk to the bus terminal and main shopping/dining street. The only drawback was the size of the room which had 2 double fixed-base beds. Thus it was cramped for one person and would certainly be moreso for a couple. Although the Internet WiFi could be spotty at times, it was otherwise and overall, a good value facility.
- Carolyn (8/5): Great Stay! - We loved our stay at this small family owned & run hotel. Such great folks who greet you with a friendly smile every time you pass by and go out of their way to make everyone happy. Many guests return year after year and have great comeradery between them & include newcomers such as us! Clean hotel with great pool and easy access to beach, restaurants, busses & town!!
- Dave (8/5): Nice hotel close to beach. - Family friendly and close to a nice beach great for kids.
- Susan (10/5): A lovely Mexican hotel just steps to the beach. - We really enjoyed this hotel. The owners were very helpful. It is within steps to the beach, and a short walk to town. The hotel is very secure, the door is secured at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): It was good to stay there, we will be coming back. - It was a nice little town, beautiful place to stay.
