- Alexandra (10/5): A great stay, highly recommend! - We loved our stay here late feb-early march 2025. Hosts were fantastic and it is in a perfect location to wander up to Goryu ski field (and easy to get to all the others). Place was warm and laid out so that it was easy to have our own space, or make friends with others who were staying. We found plenty of food options around and konbini also within walking distance.

- Vichemont (6/5): Excellent place for elderly people, don’t stay here if you’re a young adult - Very cozy place, the wife was really nice and helpful, room was spacious. Also the wife made some excellent food. Nice location just a little walk up a hill to the slopes. They have a curfew for the place which is 11pm (which isn’t stated on the ad unless you’re digging through everything) . They lock all the doors to the place so if you’re trying to have a night out it is physically impossible or has to shut down before 11. Also the owner (husband) first impression was totally unacceptable, didn’t even greet us and told us “Make sure you be quiet past 11, I’m not a nice person” plus some other pity comments. This totally shocked us and somewhat ruin our excitement for the snow.

- JOSIE (8/5): Wonderfully warm and inviting place and hosts. - The common lounge area was always available, comfortable and toasty warm with the log fire. Mingling with the other guests was an added bonus. The breakfast was a great variety of continental options. The option to stay in for a light dinner was also welcome. Our bed was super firm which doesn't suit our taste. A minor point.

- Stacey (10/5): Perfect home to come back to after a big day on the snow. - We had a fantastic two weeks at Santana, great breaky and a warm, cosy, homely feel. Highly recommend Toilets smelled a litte but seem like a drainage issue. Didnt really affect us too much

- Elsa (10/5): Everything you need plus a few little luxuries. - Similar vibe to ski lodges back in aus, and felt like home. Had everything we needed for a lovely week, lovely brekkie included and convenience of dinner available onsite. Halfway between the station and the lifts of goryu, so easy to get everywhere on foot. Albert and Fumi are phenomenal hosts. When we arrived one of our bags was missing, and Fumi called (without us asking) and got it delivered that evening. Also helped sorting us out sending our bags onto the next place. Im sure we'll be back! The walls are a little thin, but they at the end of a snow day everyone is in bed pretty early (plus theres signs everywhere telling people to be mindful). It never kept us up, we were just a little aware of our neighbours.

Every morni - - very helpful and friendly staff - free breakfast - unlimited free tea and coffee - clean - comfortable and cozy - met new people and all played cards in the common area - very easy to get to the ski slopes and escal plaza - shuttle bus stop right next to the property

- Hans (10/5): Fantastic place in the woods. - Great friendly hosts. Has a nice cabin style, personal feel to it. Short walk through lovely forrest to the ski field Goryu/47. Nice menu for who wants to dine-in. Otherwise there a couple of dinner alternatives within short walking distance. Loved it that Santana is located in a forrest setting and that it is quiet and private. The connection to the other ski fields in the valley takes a long time with the Hakuba Shuttle bus.

- marnoryan (9/5): cosy fun place to stay close to the mountains - The place was cosy and warm with a lovely bar, living area and fire downstairs and bedrooms upstairs. It was so convenient having coffee and breakfast served every morning, and it is walking distance to one of the mountains, Goryu. The owners were very helpful and chatty and the whole place had a great vibe - definitely recommend!

And lovely common area where everyone could hang out and meet in the warmth of the fire. The beds could be a bit more comfortable - very warm but mattress very firm and pillows not comfortable.

- Antoine (10/5): nous aurions voulu restez plus longtemps - un logement bien au dessus de nos attente, du confort à tout les points, la maison et propre et saine, les douches sont top. Un petit déjeuné très complet et super rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est accueillant, très souriant et à l’écoute de vos demande. La carte du restaurant et tres chouette si vous ne voulez pas sortir un soir. Bref un super séjour passé avec Albert et sa femme. je recommande vivement, surtout pour un séjour au ski, les remontées sont à 300m. On a des avantages sur la location. - Danelle (10/5): A very warm and pleasant stay at B&B Santana. Will stay again! - Fumika and Albert were very kind and hospitable. They gave a much insight to the surrounding attractions. The B&B is very homey with a cozy lounge room to relax and meet other travellers. The room and bed was also comfortable which is always welcome after a big day in the snow. As guests you also get discounted Ski passes and rentals. We had a great visit. Thank you for having us.

- Megan (10/5): We stayed here for our snowboarding honeymoon. This B&B made our vacation! - Everything was amazing! Breakfast in the morning was super convenient and there was plenty of food options. We ate dinner there multiple times and everything was delicious. We loved being able to sit and chat with the other guests while warming up next to the wood burning stove. Also everything is within walking distance and if you want to go anywhere further there are bus stops near by. N/A

- Sam (8/5): Great location and stay for couples or friends in winter wonderland! - Excellent location and cozy stay - perfect winter wonderland vacation. Very clean rooms and great service, support, and overall experience. The breakfast was good and the kids loved it - the early sunshine rays in the living room are unforgettable. They have a dog on the outside premises which added to the overall experience and the kids really loved being there. This is absolutely not the facility's fault but the accommodation is not suitable for children between crawling/walking age and 3 years old as stairs and loft rooms have open stairs the overall design of the hotel is "open design" so you need to keep a constant eye on your little explorers which might be exhausting - please consider this when booking this location. The hotel has a playroom for the kids on the first floor which was extremely helpful.
