bridget (10/5): It was the absolutely perfect place for a group of friends to spend a night. - I absolutely loved staying here-- it completely exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, and the staff was welcoming, amiable, and generous from the start. The room was clean and everything we needed for a one-night trip to Ventura. In the morning, the coffee was delicious, and the staff continued to show utmost respect and generosity in making the stay absolutely worth it. It was so reasonably priced for such an incredible, accommodating space.

Bonnie (7/5): This motel is good for a 1- or 2-night stay in central Ventura, not far from downtown & beach. - This motel is good for a one- or two-night stay in central Ventura, not far from the old downtown and close to restaurants and the beach. The beds were excellent and the linens clean. One plus is that there is a small kitchen in each unit, completely equipped with sink, refrigerator, stove and microwave. Since this is an older property (dating from the 30s-40s), there are lots of windows and great air circulation. The neighborhood was quiet, and the motel guests were also quiet. It was a comfortable stay, but there needs to be a lot more work done on this older property. The property is undergoing renovation and some rooms are probably in better condition than others. The motel has limited parking availability, and there's not much space for parking on nearby streets. The property has had a new paint job and a bit of cute decoration; also, room locks are digital/modernized. However, the stairway to the upstairs rooms has very dirty and worn out carpeting, and there is no ice machine or trash receptacle outside near the lobby. Also, many improvements still need to be made to some of the rooms. For example, the carpet in our room (upstairs, no. 12) was worn and dirty. The grout and sealant in the bathrooms is moldy/dirty and needs regrouting. The knobs on the interior doors are old and there is no metal catch on the door frames, it's just rough and deteriorated wood. The curtains are cheap and look very drab - towels are rather thin, and the soap/shampoo/conditioner is of poor quality with a cheap smell. The kitchen floor, counters and wood cabinets all need replacing, too. The room needs more lamps, and there are not enough electrical sockets. The photos of the rooms on Booking.com clearly are of rooms that have been already renovated. But ours was not! However, I do think the owners are doing their best to improve each room and the motel exterior as funds become available. In spite of these problems, I would return to this motel for one or two nights.

Rodriguez (8/5): A hidden gem - Super customer service oriented. Don't let the small property fool you! The cleanliness is great, there was a full kitchen and the cleanliness was up to par. Plus, the hot water in the shower was amazing. It seemed like an updated room. In my opinion, it's an amazing value! We will definitely be back. I truly recommend. They even come in and clean the room and after a long day of events it was definitely appreciated 👏 The wifi was spotty, that being said, they did allow us on their private network which resolved the issue! No complaints here!

Shawn (10/5): I was only there overnight for a medical appointment but thought it would have been fine for longer. - Communication with a real person at the actual motel location was pleasant and effective. (My check-in time was late evening 10pm.) Room was larger than expected. Bed was comfortable. Separate kitchen. Although somewhat dated, the room was clean and well appointed. I would stay again. Nothing really.
Frank (10/5): - It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside the property is completely remodeled and it’s very nice full kitchens very convenient remodels the top notch some of the rooms have incredible Jacuzzi dead close to beach great spot for a family summertime beach going or for work Support 2 to 3 people per week. Everything you need parking only a parking for one car free room I use it all the time. The parking some of the rooms that don’t have any dishes or stuff to compliment at the kitchen.

Eugene (10/5): - Maaaan, room 27 was so perfect. It was a corner room with a fountain and flowers right below the window creating a prefect atmosphere to stay. The kitchen was great and the bed so comfy. I wish all places were as nice and comfortable. I could live there long term. Very much recommended!

In short it is independently owned and well taken care of. No charge for parking Parking was a little tight, bcause it is a down town property.

Debra (3/5): Very disappointed, - Friendly staff. Good location. Horrible smell in room. Floor sticky, something spilled but it wasn't cleaned up. Kitchen was nice however nothing supplied except a very limited amount of dishes. There was no hand or paper towels, dish soap (you are expected to wash any dishes you used). Kitchen drawer was missing handles, beds/pillows not comfortable.

Marilyn (7/5): - The staff was friendly and responded quickly to any problems. The bedroom and bathroom areas were recently remodeled and looked smart and clean. They allowed me to store my luggage for a couple of hours after check out. The kitchen was not in very good shape. Some of the cupboards had missing handles and there were no dished when I arrived. However dishes were quickly brought. There was no workable place to hang any clothes.
