• Verified traveler (8/5): - first of all the property was extremely clean and tidy location midway between downtown and country if you need a quiet retreat with plenty of fresh air then this is definitely the ideal place. if you are the adventurous type then I would reccomend some type of private transportation, having said all that you will enjoy your stay at the Mangroves.

• CinK (10/5): - I booked the Terrace but due to a booking issue, ended up staying down the street at Manderley Villas, owned by the same folks. The owners were very apologetic about the mixup and immediately moved me to the next property one block over. This was one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in (I’ve stayed in hotels and apts worldwide) and I will definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Good parking and nice neighborhoods for both properties. Owners very responsive. I do wish they had automated locks to streamline the checkout process and complimentary soap for the bathroom sink but other than that it was close to perfect.

It was only 7 minutes from the air port & the Crane Resort where we were attending a wedding, so it was very convenient for us.

Vincent and Maureen are wonderful people who really went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Vincent took us to the Fish Market for dinner and gave us an island tour the next day!
• Ann (10/5): - Vincent and Maureen were excellent hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood very close to the airport. We did not have a car, and used the bus to get around ($2.00). By bus, Crane Beach is about 10 minutes away, and Oistins 20 minutes. There are a few local eating establishments and a grocery store within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent condition. - The apartment was perfect but the location was not ideal. I loved that they offered affordable pick up from the airport for just $16 US. There weren't many options for food nearby. Make sure you get food from elsewhere before you settle in. Otherwise, if you don't mind the location, it is an excellent deal.

• Becky (10/5): - 5 min to airport. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. This is THE place to stay if you have a flight getting in late or going out early. Full kitchen with chilled, filtered water and coffee, tea. AC units in the bedrooms. Free WiFi that works perfectly. Clean towels, and the bathroom was cleaner than my own (and I’m a clean freak!). The beds and pillows were brand new. The landlord checked us in and set up our 4:20am ride to the airport without us having to lift a finger. He was pleasant, easy to reach & knowledgable. I wish every airport had a place like this 5 minutes away!
• Ruth (8/5): - Beautiful apartment. The service of the owners was above and beyond. They helped us when we arrived and as we left- even though it was at 4:30am. The only drawback was that it was quite hot. The AC unit did not work very well at all. We were too hot all night long. Another perk though is that t is close to a continence store so you can get some groceries. Great place to stay if you don’t mind heat. Honestly would probably stay again for price, location, and service.

• Olorac (8/5): - Location, 10 minutes from the airport, made it much easier to catch our 6:30am flight. Unfortunately, despite the owner’s immediate response and efforts to correct it, the WiFi wasn’t working.
• Nina (8/5): An overnight stay - This is a four-plex apartment bldg. It is a residential neighborhood. The area is under development, thus, a lot of construction. The unit is quite new, impeccably cleaned and well maintained. However, it is isolated from resorts and restaurants and it does not have amenities, such as pool, beach, etc.. You must have a car or arrange for taxis for everything. The owner could not be nicer and more accommodating. I can't say enough about her. If you are there on business and have a car or if you have an overnight flight connection, it will do the trick. If you are there on vacation, not so much.

• Judy (10/5): Kind, courteous, and clean - I was most impressed with how pleasant and kind the owner was to me and my niece. He transported us from the airport to the apartments and picked us up very early the next morning to take us back to the airport. When did he sleep?! The apartment had comfortable beds, a very spacious living/dining room, and a clean modern bathroom. All of the rooms were immaculate. I would definitely stay at the Terrace Apartments again.

Situated in a peaceful and quiet location pretty close to public transportation, the airport, supermarkets and service station. Great for solo or up to a family of 4 or 5. Stable wifi.

• JAMES T (8/5): - I stayed one night in the Terraces last week. It is nicer that the usual I've come to expect in Barbados. I was only there for one night, as I had an early flight on the next morning. If you are considering it, understand that the property is completely unattended--no front desk or other personnel. To arrive, you must use the owner's choice of taxi at US$16 each way--plus tip, call it US$20. This changes the economics for a short stay like mine. The best use of this apartment is for a family staying several days, to make good use of both bedrooms. Otherwise, I found it comfortable, clean, and in good repair.
• Sisi (10/5): Safe, friendly & most accommodating place 5******* - I highly recommend this place, the apartment is very clean, spacious and has literarily everything from washing machine to toaster etc. 3 of us ( a married couple and one lady) spent almost a week there, and the owner Vincent was very welcoming, helpful, intelligent and friendly. The location is very authentic you get to see the real Barbadian life there. When you are away from home you want to feel safe and I must say after a few days I felt more safe than I ever felt in my own home village (where I live in England or my parents' apartment in New York). People are just so friendly and direct, even if you don't buy anything or use their services they would go the extra mile to help. Every day we went to explore a different beach by bus (which was $1 and takes you everywhere without needing to change - you just need to tell the driver where you want to get off or alternatively arrange taxi with the owner Vincent). At the beach we left our bags with money etc. whilst we went for a swim. Nothing has ever gone missing (people who maintain the beach they also look after the tourists making sure that they are happy). I must say I have been to many places St.Marteen, Bahamas etc and this place was really exceptional, all the beaches look like a little paradise, but it were the People that made our holiday unforgettable. Do engage and talk to the locals, they are one of the kindest people on Earth. If you want yourself the perfect holiday don't hesitate we highly recommend! Szilvia
