Guest Reviews
- Natalia (7/5): - The room was small but that's the be expected at that location in HK - it wasn't uncomfortably small at all. The location was really central and it was super easy to get around to all the restaurants and bars. We got new towels daily and the room was clean. The staff were friendly when you walked in. Nowhere to get breakfast in the hotel but plenty nearby The central location obviously came with some noise and some bad smells in the morning, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel. We could have done with some water/soap, btu it was well equipped with towels. They charge a deposit which you sort of just have to trust that they'll give you back - would have been nice to have been warned. We has some really noisy people in the room next door, but again, not the fault of the hotel itself
- Sirinapa (10/5): Super - Super Super
- Steve (7/5): -
- Selina meyra (8/5): -
- Ricardo (6/5): Razoável - Localização Wc. Falta de fichas usb.
- Yingxin (7/5): -
- Heidi (7/5): Prima - Locatie en prijs
- Finn (7/5): - Great to have 24 hour reception with many late flights coming into HKG. Room met my expectations for the price, and the location is close to convenience stores and other nightlife areas. Housekeeping had missed cleaning certain areas of the room. Difficult to navigate using Google Maps to the property from the train station due to the elevated walkways in Hong Kong, so would have been nice if there were some more explicit directions provided by the hotel.
- Anne (7/5): A well placed hotel suitable for sleeping and showering and getting to central locations. - The room was clean with clean sheets and towels, comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very small, but when you consider the location it was reasonable. A good area just up the hill for bars. Not any chance of a view due to the location.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Ana Alice (6/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdul (4/5): Disappointing -
- Giorgio (3/5): Poor - There’s a staff there verry rude, and always putting pressure for extend the room, or keep noke on the door if you didn’t pay 100 for extend 1h.
- Mitsushiro (6/5): ベットの凹み - ベッドの片側がべこっと凹んでました。クッション問題ありです。取り替えた方が良いと思いますよ。
- Grace (8/5): Everything was good - Room was a bit small but ok
- George (7/5): Good - This hotel has an amazing area. It's also very clean and you will have an ample space for one person to feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly and I appreciated them. It was very easy to walk to everything I wanted to see in Hong Kong! The view was really depressing even though I didn't expect a great view. I also was a little upset that the hotel was quite noisy despite requesting a quiet room. However, that did not ruin my experience and I'm still glad I booked here.
- Petri (5/5): Just ok but better choices around - Great location. Walking distance from HK airport express station and MRT. Hotels rooms are generally small in HK, know that, but here they could have done better work with design and furniture. Also maintenance could be improved.
With just HK$100-200 more you can find better options same area.
- Louise (1/5): Bad - The location. The bathroom had a glass wall adjacent to the bed so if you are sharing a room, you can see straight into the bathroom. There is no privacy. The mattress on the bed was absolutely filthy and covered in stains. We only saw this the morning after our stay when the covers came untucked.
- Edgar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tatiana (6/5): Okay for a short stay for sleeping only - Well located and easy to find. Front desk was helpful with some information and luggage storage on the checkout day. Good and hot shower. It wasn’t spotless clean, but it was okay, considering the price and the fact that we were only using the room to sleep. Some would find the bed a little stiff, but it was okay.
- Van (2/5): Very poor - this is not a hotel, just like motel. I have got stuck in the lift for 10 mins. The door kept opening and closing and did not move. Will be never come back this hotel again.
- Eden (8/5): Comfortable - The room was clean. The location was great, in the heart of the city. Friendly staff too. Good value for money for a one night stay. The beds were a bit hard but we only stayed for the one night.
- David (8/5): Ideal budget hotel for HK Central area - The hotel is very well located, and good value being on the cheaper end for Hong Kong central. And with that, it's good for the money. A little dated, and could do with maintenance here and there, but was clean, had everything needed, and no deal breakers at all. Ultimately you get what you pay for, and this place is good for the money. Nothing worse raising for the cost.
- Kristina (7/5): Lovely stay at Mingle at the Eden - Great location to explore the city.10-15mins walk to the port to get a ferry. It’s a bit old needs to update the rooms, but it’s still good clean value for money room.
- Ferdinand (7/5): Perfect location but place is totally worn out - Location location location and very friendly and helpful staff The entire hotel can use an upgrade. Nothing in terms of maintenance has been done the past 15 years or so and it shows. Hotel is completely worn out.
- Julie (5/5): Passable - We chose the location for one evening as it was near to somewhere we wanted to go, the room was basic but had what we needed The bed was very hard
- Valino (9/5): Very comfortable and convenient location - The location is so convenient! Just walking distance to my favorite restaurants and it is near the stores if you want to go shopping as well. Though there were times that the elevator was broken, the staff there were so helpful! Kudos to Gary, the receptionist. He was so professional and so welcoming. He helped us all throughout and I really appreciate him chatting with us while we were waiting for the driver. Thank you, Gary! Just the elevator, but overall it was okay.
- Alison (9/5): Very good stay - Located within 15 -20 mins walk of piers and hop on hop off bus stop across road and down lane Coffee in room sachets had milk, would have liked some just black coffee
- Verified traveler (6/5): Business trip - Old hotel. Suitable for short visit. Easy to find from Hong Kong station.
- Timothy (6/5): adequate value/location/home base - Location was ideal. It was an adequate room and good value. Front desk persons were very helpful and friendly. More cleaning would be nice. especially in the stairwells. Used stairs to get down as elevator took too long.
- Chin (8/5): Very good -
- Geri (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was extremely kind and helpful, really amazing.
- Rodney (8/5): A nice little hotel - Very friendly and helpful. Found the bed a bit low and hard but a very conveniently located hotel.
- Ivan (8/5): Very good -
- Robin (3/5): Poor - Location is good Room isnt clean. The mattress is old, the pillows old, no drinking water of toothbrush. Sleep is difficult and backaches easy to get
- Jim (10/5): - This property location was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the money this is an excellent location.
- Paul (8/5): Excellent location and price. - Great location. Good price. Helpful staff The safe wasn’t working but was attended to quickly.

- Daniel (5/5): Not worth the price - Location It was a old room. Too expensive
- Arthur (5/5): Passable -
- Rui (7/5): Good - Well worth the price considering location. I thought it was clean unlike other reviews I read. Good room size, good bathroom.
- Elias (3/5): Poor -
- Peter (8/5): Very pleasant overall. - Good clean location and friendly people. Tammy was very helpful. Water could have been hotter when needed.
- Marek (9/5): Great location, good hotel room, definitely worth the money. - I liked the location and appreciated the free water and greatly designed hanger storage. I did not like the design of the glass wall between the bathroom and the bed. You could see through it.
- Denise (8/5): Ideal location for city exploration - The location is perfect for walking anywhere in the city center, the harbour and access to subway lines.
The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful. I was on a work trip and the rooms aren't the best for working as the desks are small ledges and there were no desk lamps. But there were late night cafes and other places to use a laptop nearby.
- Ishaq (5/5): Passable -
- Tongwei (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (5/5): Passable -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (1/5): grim - it has a good location I booked a deluxe room but was given a standard when I asked to change because the room I was told that the pictures on booking.com weren't accurate and that they were only there to make the rooms look nicer.
When I asked to change the woman on the desk was really rude to me in front of my face because she didn't think I could understand what she was saying
- Francis (6/5): Pleasant - Toilet water was yellow even if i flush many times. Needs to be cleaned Toilet. Thin walls of the rooms could hear someone having sex
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional -
- Masa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Daniel (9/5): Very nice location and staff - The staff are nice and friendly. Comfortable and quiet place in a great location.
- Diogo (6/5): Good location, not for the ones with a light sleep. - The location is great, quite central with a lot of bars and restaurants around. The bed was too hard for my taste. The floor could have been cleaner, the rest of the surfaces were well clean. The acoustic insulation is not the greatest, from early morning you start listening the sound of the stores and markets around the hotel.
- Bilal (10/5): Exceptional - Location is awesome Nothing
- Olivia (8/5): Comfortable and convenient... - Comfortable bed, easy check in and check out, coffee/tea in the room, complete toiletries, fresh towels. Very good location...so close to shops, restauranta and bus, tram, mrt After taking a bath, the whole bathroom including toilet seat are very wet.
- David (5/5): Passable -
- Alessio (7/5): Good -
- Jeffery (8/5): Very good -
- Mickcheuk (7/5): Good Location, those hotel staffs are reasonable helpful. - The location in the centre of HK. Loads of shops and restaurants. With MTR Bus Taxi etc near-by Easy to travel round. Good for short stays Well, I afraid to say, The hotel was ageing, so don't expect too much.
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chemsy (7/5): Good -
- Nikita (8/5): Very good - Really nice beds
- Jack (8/5): Very good - The room was fair if a bit dated. The size was fine, but not amazingly clean. Bed was a bit harder than usual and lack of space at the checkin desk lead to over crowding.
- Wei (4/5): Could be better - Location Very old and badly maintained. Room was not in best condition.
- Pastor (9/5): Superb - Staff very helpfull
- Andre (8/5): Very good -
- Worayot (7/5): Good -
- Nanfan (7/5): Good -
- Marcus (5/5): Passable - Perfect as a weekend crash pad in Central if you’re looking to do it on the cheap.
You get what you pay for though ( enough said).
Located between Sheung Wan MTR & Lan Kwai Fong, it’s 5-10 minute walk either way. If you have mobility problems, then definitely don’t stay here. You won’t cope with the hilly, stepped terrain.
A word of caution though. At time of writing, the LKF entertainment hill is still a shadow of what it was pre-Covid. So is Wanchai for that matter, but at least
it’s flat.
A tip for muso’s. The new location of the Wanch ( a storied live-music bar), now above Amazonia on Lourdes Rd, Wanchai is fantastic. It was packed and pumping with 2 great cover bands.
- Milos (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent.Clean rooms . ghood value for the money enterior could be little better,Small rooms .Wall carpets could be cleaner or newer
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Raghavdatta (7/5): Good -
- Sing (7/5): Location n room facilities is good . However the receptionist is not so friendly n have to improve the customer service. - location only one evaluator
- Robin (3/5): Poor - Bed linen dirty. Shower area dirty. Shower head leaking.
- Greene (9/5): Superb - Excellent location convenient for the Central District. Room was well appointed. Bathroom on the small side, but the shower was excellent with great water pressure and a choice of shower heads. Staff were not engaged, which might have been in part due to the fact that English was not well understood by any of them.
- Sheng (8/5): great location in city centre - The location is perfect, right next to the bar streets. the staffs are quite friendly and the price is decent.
- Gerhard (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (8/5): Very good -
- Robin (1/5): Bad -
- Christopher (9/5): We thought it was great for a great price at super short notice! - Mingle at the Eden is a small hotel, only 28 rooms, on the edge of Central--very near Hong Kong's main business and party areas. We stayed overnight on the main party night of Halloween, when taxis and busses are impossible to get if you want to stay out late. The room was incredibly inexpensive and thus naturally small without a lot of amenities--we didn't have a mini-fridge and of course there's no place to cook--but it's near a million great restaurants, so why would you cook? The bed was a little bit hard for my taste, but if you want a hard bed, it's perfect. The room was very clean, check in was simple, check out was simple. Really, you can't ask for more at this price. There was really nothing much to complain about. Our 2nd floor room looked out on a hardware store where there was some noise from in the morning. Double glazed windows might have helped.
- Ahmed (1/5): Bad -
- King (9/5): Superb -
- chi wai (10/5): - 鬧市中優靜,方便,價錢相宜
- Vanessa (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (3/5): It was close to work but the room not being made up was a distraction. - Great location, close to the centre and a reasonable quiet street. Lots of facilities close by.
The common areas are small but okay.
There is very little else to say about the hotel. they didn't make up the room for the first 5 days and only did so when I asked for new sheets. At other hotels I have stayed at have made up the room daily and changed the sheets on a regular basis. The previous hotel the iClub was much better.
- Natalie (7/5): Good -
- 林 (8/5): Very good -
- Cheuk (7/5): Good -
- Annie (6/5): - The bedsheet got stains. The room's conditions not well maintained, walls broken, overall not clean. Also, there is no fridge, in such hot temperature, how can you not provide a fridge there.
