Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Tv didnt work, beds were the worst and staff was never around
- Verified traveler (2/5): - That was not a hotel. That was a shetler for homeless.
- Mike (2/5): - the people I was with were afraid to enter the property because of the drug addicts sitting in front of it it turned out to be a hostel, I was unable to contact anyone to cancel the the booking we had to go to another hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No 1 located at front desk & access to front desk behind locked door; parking lot unsafe as numerous individuals loitering around the hotel grounds.
The building did not appear safe nor reputable; did not stay at this location & made alternative accommodation arrangements.
Would strongly urge this hotel be dropped from Expedia listing.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I cannot check in, no one at front desk, and no one answered the phone numbers left on the door. Voice mail box was full, and no one called me back, so I have to find another place to live.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - NO STAFF. NO RECEPTION. I DONT KNOW
WHAT THIS PLACE IS. I DID NOT RESERVE FOR
AIR BNB. NOTICE WAS MADE IN A VERY SHORT NOTICE WHERE THERE IS NO TIME TO CANCELL RESERVATION. I DEMAND FOR A REFUND BECAUSE WE CHECKED IN AT ANOTHER HOTEL. WE DID NOT EVEN STAY IN THIS SCARY PLACE.
- David (2/5): Stay away - This is not a hotel. No lobby, no checkin. I was unable to checkin, and therefore \had top find alternative accomodations.
- Mark (4/5): Condition Improvement required - The motel condition require serious improvement
- Jackie (4/5): - Good location but this place is run down and in pretty bad shape. Would never stay there again
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room at this hotel wasn't that bad. However, the staff at this location was terrible. The website says check in is at 3 PM. I showed up at 3 PM and the office was closed. I wasn't able to check in until 7 PM. I called the office phone number that was listed online many times and nobody answered. I then found out that there is a second number that was never posted online. The landlord was terrible. Once I was able to get in contact with him he made wait 30 min for him to come and check me in. Also, the location of this place is pretty sketchy. It might be cheap, but expect poor customer service.
- Samantha (2/5): Not a Hotel - Very small room. Does not supply washcloths. Can't use tv and microwave at the same time without tripping the circuit breaker and losing all power to the room. Dip in middle of bed so 2 people end up rolling into the middle. Very uncomfortable. People pounding on doors and yelling in the middle of the night. Blinds fell while trying to open them. Not going back EVER!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - liked absolutely nothing small little place freezing no heat guess you get what you pay for applieis here
- Edmond (4/5): - There was no toilet paper when I needed it. No kleenex either. The tv is on the wall mounted not plugged in, when I was gonna plug it in, it doesn’t reach the extension nor is there a closer outlet. Just poor design and dumb. The light beside the bed doesn’t work. Seems like the knob yo turn it on it broken. I also had to wait an hour to get checked in. Called the first time and was told to call another number. The other number no one picked up. The first number on the door doesn’t even work. The guy said he had an emergency which is understandable but at the same time why are there no one covering or no communication. Was about to leave and go somewhere else if he hadn’t called back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Crack house!!! - They did a really good job with the photos, because this was the scariest place I’ve ever been! Was a house or apartment they tried to call a hotel. Stuck between two tenements, no parking but tucked in the back of building.my gf was like I don’t feel comfortable leaving my car out here!!! We went in just to look took 2 key pads to get in office, open stairs up to room. Ok room!!! I wouldn’t let my dog stay there!!! disgusting carpet splatters on the headboard hole in the ceiling it was like a rent by the hour room!!! I can’t believe hotel.com let this place be on their site!!! Then tried to cancel room, not happening with manager so called hotel.com u guys are NO HELP AT ALL!!!! I am thoroughly disgusted all around at the lack of customer service!!!!! So please if u are ever in Windsor don’t go near this place or use hotels.com to book it!!!!!
- Joe (2/5): - Would not let me check into the hotel do not get this hotel it is a crap hole and they will take your money
- Gabriel (8/5): Good stay - Very good rooms for the price
- Upset (2/5): - No staff at the desk, they left 2 phone numbers to call. One phone number didn't work, nobody answered the second. Just waited around until someone showed up thirty minutes later. The code to your room was just a gimmick. The door opened even without the code. The hotel had a terrible odor of fried food and cigarettes. All of the windows in the room were open, the temperature was below freezing. To heat the room there was a tiny space heater. Using the space heater to heat the room caused a breaker to trip in the middle of the night, so absolutely no power available in the morning. They provided us with two towels, but zero washcloths. Such a tiny room and all of the outlets were used. The TV only broadcasted local shows via antenna, the remote control batteries were dead. Terrible experience. This place needs to refund us, then shut down permanently.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Found marijuana in the drawer booze in the fridge. Loud noise all night long. People off the street checking the doors. Dirty and very very very run down. No parking. Not worth staying here at any price. If they offered it for free, they would be gouging.
- Alex (2/5): They had no clue of my reservation. - I showed up to the hotel on my reserved day and they did not have a room ready for me. I am still working with them and hotels.com to get my refund. I am extremely upset.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No Tables or chairs,
Not a very safe atmosphere. No one at the reception. Very limited service. No customer service or responsible person to contact.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No air conitioning, people yelling outside at 3am, walls were super thin so could hear people talking and yelling at 7am
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Only the location, anything else not so good.
But anyway the staf was kind . The only problem is that you had to call them if you needed anything from them. Anyway, for everyone on a budget is a nice place, great location !
- Jackie (4/5): - The owners should be more serious. Most of the time nobody is in the office.
- Jessica (6/5): - Very close to downtown. Good price. Some problems with hotel staff- we had to call two different numbers to get someone to unlock the office so we could check in (we arrived at 5, office was supposedly open until 8). Once he arrived, the employee was very polite and apologized for the delay. The following morning, we had to check out by 11. At 10:30 we attempted to return to the office, which was once again locked. Calling the same two numbers went straight to voicemail and we could not find a single employee in the entire building. We, like another guest in the hotel, just left our key in the lock of our door and hoped for the best.
- Robyn (2/5): - We ended up booking a different hotel... super tiny ..no parking...not a great overall appearance
- Albert (6/5): - No chairs to sit, poor tv set,no cup or glasses
No face cloths or kleenex
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very disappointed of the room not very clean and the bed not comfy even the sheet and the paper towels not clean too bad hotel that I have ever seen !
I don’t recommend it
- Joe (8/5): - Small room. price should be less
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Dude was nice and the place is in a great location
- Chelsea (8/5): - Great location and for the price the room was pretty decent!
- Barb (4/5): - For the price you get what you pay for I realize that. The room met every need you would expect to find in a typical room except for the most important thing, the bed. It should be put out in the burn pile! Broke to the point we were sleeping slanted sideways trying to brace ourselves.
Only got a couple hours of sleep from tossing and turning.
- Rebecca (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at this property.
The staff was very helpful.
- azadeh (4/5): - The door lock was not working properly and we were standing out of the room for half an hour at 11:30 p.m three times.
Amaar, was very helpful and tried his best to accommodate our need and the manager refund us 30% refund on our stay which was very generous.
- Natasha (10/5): - Nice hotel, close to amenities, soft bed, and very nice staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was at a great location and the price for what it is was great.
- Ejaz (2/5): Extremely Bad Experience - It was the worst experience in my 30 years travel history. I arrived at the property at 10 pm and was advised that I do not have a reservation. Hotels.com had my co plate credit card Info, had confirmed the reservation, sent a reminder email on the day of arrival, as well as asked to review my stay the next day.
The hotel told me that they are sold out. When I called Hitels.com customer service, they repeated the same message that there is no space at the hotel. When asked for an alternate, they put me on an extremely low my hold and never can back..
The hotels in Windsor were all sold out due to the long weekend, and I was not able to find any room in any hotel despite callling over two dozen properties. My wife and I had the option to either spent the night in the car, or drive long distance to another city. May never book anything through Hotels.com or through this property ever again. I recommend others to stay away as well. There is no apology from Hotels.com yet.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's a bad value for money. The site mentioned daily house keeping. But they told they do only once during the stay. For the money they charge it was really bad place. They should just call it motel. At least then one won't get high expectations.
- Brooke (6/5): One night stay was okay - Checking in was horrible. You must call to check in and we called and no one was there. Finally after a hour we were able to talk to someone. Very cheap hotel. Would be okay for only one night. Walls are thin.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Beware of check in policy. No one at front desk. - We had two different experiences at this hotel. The first one was terrible. We called ahead to tell them what time we would arrive. No one was at the desk. We had to call a local number (not toll free) from our cell to ask someone to come and let us into the room we had already paid for. Any money we saved staying here, we spent on phone calls. Finally someone showed up. Our first room was terrible, no working AC , no remote for the TV and dingy. Made another phone call. We were ready to move to different hotel but we were put into another room with AC and working TV. Roomier and a little nicer. Bath towels were the size of tea towels and paper thin-seemed like a joke. My husband needed three to dry off after a shower so no dry towels for anyone else to use. Our teen stayed there alone while we attended a concert. He witnessed a serious fight with a screaming woman and child and also found a syringe outside of the hotel, so it was a real education for him. We worried the entire time about our car parked at the back of this hotel. We felt the need to check on it several times throughout the night and were actually surprised to see it parked there the next morning. Read the fine print before booking here. Surprised to see Hotels.com even list a place like this.
- Eric (6/5): - The hotel location is good. It is just a place for night. No public area.
- Jackie (10/5): Good - Good
- Diana (8/5): Worth the PRICE! - For the price, it was worth the stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I had a terrible experience with IACC. I went to check in to the property at 7pm, and there was no one available at the “office”. I called the number provided and no one answered. A half hour later one hotel staff member calls to tell me that my reservation had been cancelled because they had issues with electricity in their hotel rooms. I was not called or notified at all. I was very displeased.
