The setting inside the Old City gives a rare feeling of being connected to Jerusalem’s history while still enjoying modern comfort. Walking out the door straight into the old streets was an experience in itself. The room was quiet, well kept, and inviting after a long day of exploring. I appreciated the attention to detail and the sense that the place is cared for with pride. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and added a pleasant start to the morning. Above all, the staff were kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. Their attitude created a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay feel personal rather than routine. A place with character, warmth, and an excellent location — I gladly give it top marks and would be happy to return.

Bref je recommande cet établissement L’hôtel a un très grand potentiel mais je pense qu’il aurait quand même besoin d’être un peu ré décorer. Les meubles sont un peu vieux, et je pense que l’allée extérieur avant d’entrer dans le lobby devrait être plus achalandé en chaises et tables de jardin et de luminaires

- John (9/5): As always...a very enjoyable stay in an incredible location! - The staff were amazing! All of our interactions and needs were fully met with willingness and politeness. Especially the night agent at front desk. She was wonderful! It's Israel. There will always be a few things that are issues, but nothing to deter us from recommending this place. If possible, try to avoid checking-in or out on Shabbat. Not a hotel issue, more so the challenges of getting to or from the hotel and the children outside who will have issues with anything you do on Shabbat. We had an unfortunate experience with the "radicalized orthodox" children (this was the label the nice Jewish children called them).

- Tuvia (6/5): mooie plek om te overnachten in de joodse wijk van de oude stad in Jeruzalem - Ontbijt was goed de eerste dag, tweede dag wat minder uitgebreid, bed was goed, badkamer was ok. Sinds afgelopen twee jaar dat we er eerder waren is naar ons mening de bediening en de hygiene en de service achteruit gegaan. Bed lakens waren niet vervangen! Vloer van de kamer wordt niet voldoende schoongemaakt! plafond lamp hangt half gemonteerd boven je hoofd. Personeel doet zijn werk, maar de hospitality instelling ontbreekt. Het kan dus veel beter.

- Stephanie (5/5): Un bed&breakfast utile - Nous l’avons choisi pour son emplacement unique, à 500 mètres du Kotel, au cœur du quartier juif c’était parfait ! Le personnel était également très accueillant et rendant service, très coopératifs. Le manque de propreté ahurissant !!! Clairement l’aspirateur n’est jamais passé sur les tapis, les rebord de lits, des moutons de poussières s’accumulent autour des fenêtres sales, sur chacune des étagères, tables de chevets et meubles. Les draps n’étaient pas immaculés non plus et cela valait aussi bien pour la chambre que pour les canapés du lobby et autres. Également, le petit déjeuner était absolument lamentable: aucun choix de pains, de salades, de plats, le pain était rassis, pas de profusion ni dans la quantité ni dans la qualité !

- ANNA (3/5): היה מאכזב מאוד,חבל שמלון במיקום כזה לא מצליח לתת תמורה לאורחיו. - מיקום מדהים במרכב הרובע היהודי וכמה דקות מהכותל המערבי. המקום לא מתוחזק,מאוד לא נקי ומוזנח ,ארוחת בוקר דלה מאוד.חדר קוודרופול שהזמנו היה מאוד ישן,ידית החלון שבורה,וילון שנטלש ומלוכלך,פתחי מזגן מלוכלכים מאוד.ניכרת אי תחזוקה והזנחה. בנוסף לכל היה רשום שמי ששוהה בחדר מקבל בקבוק יין או שמפניה ,לא קיבלנו ונאלצנו להתקשר לבוקינג כדי להסדיר את העניין ,מפני שפקידת קבלה סירבה בתוקף שזאת הטבה שמגיעה לנו.גם חויה לא נעימה.

Il y avait un groupe important de femmes qui ont chanté jusqu'à 23 heures le premier soir et nous avons du nous lever 3 fois pour leur demander de se taire. L'hôtel devrait donné une heure d' extinction du bruit il me semble....
- Hila (5/5): למי שרוצה להגיע לכותל המיקום הינו מושלם. אבל לשאר העיר הגעה מסורבלת בייחוד בזמנים שלפני חגי תשרי - סבירה ניקיון טעון שיפור באופן מיידי . שערות במקלחת, חומר מרוח על הרצפה ככל הנראה ממבקרים קודמים. כך שבוודאות לא ניקו לפני שנכנסנו !!!
- GAELLE (3/5): Juste pour l’emplacement - Son emplacement et le personnel Nous avons eu une chambre dans l’aile gauche chambre 302 à éviter absolument. Elle donne sur la porte de l’entrée des livraisons j’ai été réveillée par des chariots jusqu’à minuit et ensuite à 6h toutes les livraison passaient par là c’était horrible la porte claquée très fort on faisait rouler comme des tonneaux le bruit était atroce La salle du petit déjeuner est un réfectoire pas joli et le petit déjeuner sans plus Côté ménage très moyen les lits et mobilier vétuste. Une bouilloire mais pas de verre pour se servir. J’ai eu la chance de visiter les chambres de l’autre aile elles étaient magnifiques rien à voir j’ai du mal à comprendre la différence de standing pour un même hôtel

- Johanna Solange (3/5): Bel emplacement - remise en état indispensable - La proximité avec la vieille ville L’hôtel était dans un état délabré, les sanitaires étaient dans un état d’usure non négligeable et il y avait beaucoup de moisissures. La clim était très bruyante. A l’arrivée la personne a l’accueil n’était en aucune façon chaleureuse ou amicale. Le lendemain le personnel plus disposé à l’accueil.

- Evangelina (8/5): - La ubicación excelente porque está cerca de todo, dentro de la Ciudad Vieja, a pasos de la Puerta de Sión, a metros del Cénaculo y de la Abadía de la Dormición, del Monte del Templo, del Davidson Center, de la Puerta de Jaffa, prácticamente en la esquina de la Sinagoga de Hurva y del Centro de Jerusalén, del mercado y del Santo Sepulcro. Justo mi mamá se esguinzó el pie y las chicas la atendieron y cuidaron de 10. Mejor que un hospital. Siempre agua caliente disponible. Lo que pedís te dan. Muy atentos todos. Las escaleras en la entrada del Hotel...me hubiese gustado una rampa, sobre todo porque uno lleva muchas maletas y con el calor de esa fecha, se hacían pesadas. Es entendible porque es la ciudad vieja, pero eran muchas escaleras! Pensando en alguien mayor, con limitaciones o como a nosotros con un esguince...se nos complicó. Me hubiera gustado que hubiera habido alguien que te ayude a abrir la puerta del Hotel (que era bastante pesada) o que te ayudara con el equipaje...en ese sentido...no hay nadie.

- yael (4/5): כנראה שלא נגיע שוב. - המיקום של המלון מצוין וגם המבנה מאוד יפה חדר האוכל היה מאוד מלוכלך, ובאופן כללי כל המרחב הציבורי במלון היה ממש מלוכלך. אכזבה. בנוסף, שילמתי במיוחד כדי לקבל חדר של שלושה, זו הייתה מתנת יום הולדת להורים שלי, ולהפתעתנו אחרי שהם הגיעו למלון וקיבלו את החדר אותו הזמנתי, כעשרים דקות לאחר מכן העבירו אותם לחדר אחר, קטן יותר. בגלל שזו הייתה מתנה והם לא ידעו מה הזמנתי, הם לא מחו על המעבר- אני שמעתי על כך רק בדיעבד. מעצבן!

- Gabor (7/5): - Location is great. Breakfast was good. Note that the pictures are from the renovated side of the hotel. Unfortunately we did not get that side. The rooms we got were fair and definitely needed renovating. Dinner was extra and was ok, but not worth the price.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the elegance and charm of the historic architecture. The interior courtyard, with its stone arches and serene ambiance, evokes the rich cultural heritage of the Sephardic community while providing a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy. The rooms are tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is truly unbeatable. Within minutes, we could walk to the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and countless other holy and historical sites. Being able to explore the Old City early in the morning and late in the evening, when it’s quieter and more atmospheric, was a unique privilege.

Breakfast was really good Room wasn’t serviced and Tv didn’t work. We didn’t complain about the tv as we weren’t in the room much at all and didn’t mind
- Lisa (8/5): Lovely experience in the Old City - The location was amazing and the hotel is beautiful. Our first room was in a filthy basement /downstairs area but luckily they couldn’t get the door to open. We were moved to a lovely clean part of the hotel.
- Lisa (9/5): Location in the Old City! - The location is amazing, in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. The room was beautiful, especially the ceiling and the two comfortable chairs to sit in near the window. The lobby lounge is wonderfully furnished and very comfortable. The room was a little dusty. The bars on the window block out the spectacular view which is a great pity. It would be great if the hotel had an outdoor sitting area to enjoy the beautiful Jerusalem night air.

- yaarit (5/5): - הקרבה לכותל וזהו אני מכירה את המלון כבר הרבה שנים חשבתי שהשתפרו במהלך השנים אבל טעיתי . חוץ מהקרבה המדהימה לכותל . הנקיון ברמה ירודה . מבחר האוכל הזוי וכל כך משונה . חבל מאוד הזלזול בלקוח . שמשלם כמו על מלון ברמה גבוהה יותר ומקבל חצי .
