• One-Bedroom Cottage - Rainforest Cottage (2 Adults)

  Each spacious, secluded Rainforest Cottage offers a double spa bath, wood fire, air-conditioning and sliding glass doors onto a private patio. All have flat-screen TV and DVD and include a bathroom with shower, fresh towels with heated towel rail, hairdryer, fluffy bathrobes and free toiletries. Free WiFi is also included. This could not have been more perfect. - We made our booking as a quick addition to some work we were doing on the Gold Coast and we are so glad we did! The owners are the most gorgeous people and the location and cottages are absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back. It was like stepping into the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The fresh croissants the owners bake and deliver for breakfast were an added touch that was just gorgeous. There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like. It was perfect.

The service was next level and the owners clearly have a passion for ensuring every guest has a wonderful experience. Fresh pastries delivered to the cottage each morning, high quality breakfast provisions, freshly cut roses, welcomed into the main house for a freshly made espresso and chat, and lots of recommendations for walks and local dining options. I stayed in one of the rainforest cottages which was beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Never before have I been so excited to spend a night indoors by myself. Log fire, relaxing music, spa bath and beautiful views, alongside complimentary port and chocolates. The Falls is situated in the perfect location. A 3 minute drive into town for all the amenities, yet set in the peace and quiet of a secluded rainforest spot, within walking distance to the Kondalilla Falls National Park and Kondalilla restaurant/cafe. I had an exceptional short break in stunning surroundings, made unforgettable by the kindness and care of the owners. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere truly special. The Manor House was ideal for our family stay. Having six bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, made such a difference, it gave everyone their own space while still allowing us to come together comfortably. The communal areas were absolutely incredibly furnished with timeless pieces, and the balance of indoor and outdoor spaces created a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere that suited our celebration perfectly. A special mention to Alan and Aryna, who were nothing but kind, responsive, and accommodating from our very first booking and phone call right through to our departure. Wir wurden abends sogar zu einem Restaurant gefahren und wieder abgeholt, damit wir einen Wein genießen konnten. Die Cottages sind toll eingerichtet, sogar mit Kamin und Spa-Badewanne. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Von der Unterkunft konnte man direkt zu der Wanderroute zu den dortigen Wasserfällen gehen. war alles bestens

The spacious cottage hidden amongst the rainforest is beautifully relaxing. Alan and Aryna are terrific hosts, welcoming and obliging. The breakfast provisions supplied are very generous, and the flowers and carafe of port are an extra and appreciated touch. It’s only 3 km to Montville village with lots of interesting places there and plenty of places to eat. We would definitely like to return for another get away from it all holiday.
• Tim (10/5): Relaxing and a perfect hideaway. - We h We had a roomy cottage of about 70 m2, with kitchenette, separate bathroom and a large spa bath in the corner. The bed was very comfortable. Our cottage was very private, on a rainforest covered hillside. Quiet and secluded, just perfect for a weekend away, but we left feeling we should have stayed longer. Hosts Alan and Aryna are great, very friendly and obliging. The amount of food the supplied was incredible, even a carafe of port on the coffee table, and fresh pastries delivered to a box outside our door daily. This place is not cheap, but very well worth and cost. We will definitely be back for another elating, get away from it all holiday. Nothing at all.

• S771EIchrisc (10/5): A fantastic place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and sound of traffic but within easy reach of most things - We booked a four day break at the Falls Montville and couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. On arrival we were greeted by Alan who was amazing, he took us to our self contained cottage and explained everything we needed to know and showed us where everything was, telling us that that the fridge would be stocked daily as and when we needed and if there was anything else we needed just ask. He even delivered fresh pastries daily, amazing. There was even a decanter of local port supplied for a nightcap. He was happy to make reservations if we wanted to dine out. He was truly a fantastic host. We will definitely be returning most likely in the winter so we can sip port in front of the log burner stove.

The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully styled, and tucked into the most peaceful rainforest setting - the view alone is enough to make you instantly relax and switch off from real life. So quiet, so private, exactly what you want when you’re escaping real life. Service was exceptional from Alan, who went above and beyond and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, not just “checked in and forgotten.” You can tell when someone actually cares — and he really does. The breakfast provisions were such a treat — generous, thoughtful, and delicious, with fresh pastries that felt like a little luxury. Clean, calm, beautifully presented, and genuinely special. If you’re considering booking — do it. This place sets the bar very high.
• lynettekayeb (10/5): Special "forever" memories at 'The Falls' in Montville - We chose “The Falls” to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary travelling from Sydney on 30 December 2025 and returning home on 4 January 2026 after a wonderful stay which far exceeded our expectations and left us with special “forever” memories. We stayed in Cottage 1, one of 5 separate Spa cottages located on the sub-tropical rainforest property of over 4 idyllic acres, which was fully catered for, with fresh groceries, cereal, jams, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, fresh bread and fresh orange juice which allowed for us to be self-sufficient for the five days of our stay. A daily surprise was the fresh croissants or other French pastry item that appeared outside our door every morning. The property also caters for group bookings in the main Manor House where 5 self-contained bedrooms with ensuite share common areas and balconies which overlook this special part of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We had the opportunity to receive a conducted tour of the Manor House and its wonderful collection of unique antiques, family memorabilia, works of original art and an eclectic array of fascinating 'things' by the proud owners, Alan & Aryna, collected over their travels through Aryna's Ukraine, Alan's Rhodesia & England and their previous home in New Zealand before settling in Montville, their home over the last decade. A friendly chat with Aryna about her superb fashion design past or listening to one of Alan's unique stories was always accompanied by a cappuccino brewed to order by Alan. We also had the good fortune to meet other intrepid spa cottage visitors to share our experiences with, who unsurprisingly, had returned yet again, contributing to the telling statistic that repeat visits currently make up over 50% of “the Falls” clientele. Montville is a wonderful part of the world to visit made more enjoyable by experiencing the peace, tranquility and friendship that “The Falls” will deliver. Once will never be enough.

The Falls is the place we visit if we want a consistently splendid service, hospitality, and tranquillity. Only a problem is that this place is very popular and we need to book way in advance :) The cottages are perfectly located in private rainforest while they are still reachable from Montville/Maleny town centers in a few minutes. We wholeheartedly recommend the Falls to couples who would want unforgettable getaways in ease. It is not so difficult to access the cottages but if you need an assistance in walking, this place is not for you.

Close to all the beaches for swimming and fishing, and many natural waterfalls, waterholes and hiking tracks during the day. . Then at the day come back to your retreat. Unwind, and reset. It is great if need a break from children as well. We have rebooked again for 2026. Do you self a favor and see for yourself. We have never been in a place so clean and comfortable. Beautiful roses, candles, chocolates and port as you walk in. Amazed at the amount of high quality food. Delicious danishs delivered each morning, by Alan and Ayna (The owners) with their delightful, friendly and bubbly personalities. The breakfast goodies where amazing. Orange juice, cereals, yogurt,milk, tea, coffee, eggs, bacon,avocado, tomatoe, mushrooms and fresh fruit. Plenty of resturants, cafes and wineries close by. Treat yourself!

• DaveandApril (10/5): The best of the best. - Now that we’re in our 3rd day here, it’s easy to see why Alan and Aryna have 5-star ratings and reviews. We’ve stayed at many cottages in Montville over the years, so need to give proper credit to them. Our Lacebark cottage was meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival. The cottage is well fitted, set-out and maintained. Not even a cobweb could be found on the deck. A hard feat considering the rainforest environment. The windows and glass doors were spotless. The English style tableware is a nice touch. So were the fresh roses, chocolates, and port. The bathroom and shower (pictured) is spacious and looks like it was recently renovated. The breakfast hamper included like a dozen eggs, kilo of bacon, fresh mushrooms, tomato, loaf of fresh rye bread, Maleny yoghurts, muesli, assorted cereals, assorted fresh fruits, avocado, fresh juice and Maleny milk. Note: The attached pics were taken after we had already eaten half of it. On top of that, Alan mentioned several times that he was happy to top us off, at no charge, if we needed any more of anything. The BBQ hamper came with two marinated chicken skewers, two steaks, four sausages, two stuffed mushrooms, a fresh salad for two, pre baked potatoes, and 2 warm rolls. The Weber bbq looked brand new, but not so…it was just well-maintained. Overall this place is so well managed, a huge credit to Alan and Aryna. The cottage in the rainforest was beautifully decorated and lots of thoughtful extras; gorgeous fresh roses, chocolates, port, bubble bath, candles, etc. It was so peaceful and private, with a verandah to sit and relax and watch the birds in the forest trees. Alan was a very helpful and welcoming host. Breakfast items provided (lots of local produce) were generous and delicious. Highly recommended.

• W8164CTleannef (10/5): Perfect Accommodation for Girls Getaway Weekend - WOW just WOW !! Absolutely the most perfect place for our recent annual Girls Trip Away. There were 5 of us & we booked The Manor House, we each had our own room & ensuite - heaven. Lovely & clean with lots of beautiful little extra lux touches. The breakfast provisions provided us with some of the best of the local products available & Alan made sure to check we had enough to keep us going. And Aryna's freshly baked pastries on Sunday morning just topped it off. Alan & Aryna are the perfect hosts, from check in to check out, they were very welcoming & made you feel right at home, popping in to make sure we didn't anything but not intrusive of our time at all. Even though we didn't have great weather it really didn't matter we were more than happy to just stay at our stunning home away from home & enjoy the peace & quiet. If you're looking for somewhere for a Girls Trip or extended family get together I can't recommend booking The Manor House enough, stunning beautiful Old Queenslander with plenty of room for us to all be together or have our own space if we wanted, plenty of time was spent on the gorgeous verandah's both front & back, taking in the lovely gardens or stunning back deck views. We'll definitely be back to enjoy The Manor House, thank you Alan & Aryna for your warm hospitality.

From the moment we arrived our immersive experience began. The cottages are beautifully set within the rainforest, very private with lovely farmland valley views. Our “Lacebark” cottage was exquisitely decorated, very clean and included fresh flowers, a well stocked fridge with refreshments, there was even some port for us to enjoy. We can’t speak highly enough of our hosts Alan and Aryna, always readily available and even offered transport to “The Montville Bar & Grill” restaurant in case we wanted a drink (or two…) The staff from the restaurant even dropped us back after our meal. This was valet service not experienced anywhere before. We therefore highly recommend “The Falls Montville” if you are looking for something special. Our cottage, Tamarind, was in the canopy giving a treehouse feeling. It was quiet and peaceful, well thought out, self contained and a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Our hosts, Alan and Aryna, were superb, even bringing a coffee down to us on a wet day and providing breakfast supplies and top ups as required.

Hosts, made us feel very comfortable, very friendly, very accomodating and helpful. The cottage we stayed in was very clean, set up beautifully, it was a hot day, air conditioning was on when arriving for check in. Host helped take bags in as showed us to the correct cottage. Food was prepared in the fridge for our breakfast for both mornings as well as juice, fruit, tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, fresh bread, yoghurt and all. Beautiful arrangement of foods and fresh flowers. The spa was a lovely way to relax and sitting out on the deck looking over the valley and animals over the hills. The hosts arranged dinner as asked by my partner. The hosts did an amazing job. Alan greeted us when we arrived and we had a good chinwag before he helped us down to the cabin we were staying in. Amazing location, tucked into the rainforest. He took the time to make some dinner recommendations, and even called ahead to book a table for us both. He kindly offered to drop us off so we can have a wine and not need to drive home, which was appreciated. The cabins were awesome, well kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The selection of local foods were tasty. Thank you to both Alan and his wife for a wonderful stay, and highly recommend The Falls Montville to anyone needing accomodation in Montville. We knew we were in great hands from the start .Nothing was too much trouble for them, they are professional experts in this field of making our stay relaxing and worry free. And if you like a bit of family history, Alan has some fascinating insights to his family ancestry. We stayed in Honeybush Cabin that when you opened the front door it drew you in with ambient lights, fresh roses and background music to soften the stillness of the air. Great location with the national park close-by. We enjoyed it so much and will be returning as soon as we can.

• 482evies (10/5): Idyllic getaway location - What an incredibly relaxing and adventurous weekend we have had at The Falls, Montville! As soon as we stepped onto the enchanted boardwalk that led to our cosy cottage, we felt at home. Our cottage was perfect: it was secluded, spacious, spotlessly clean, cosy and extremely accommodating (largely thanks to our wonderful hosts Alan and Aryna who not only stocked the fridge with fresh juice, eggs, bacon, fruits, etc - they delivered warm, fresh pastries and croissants, wood for our fire, and made delicious coffee when we visited reception!). Our hosts also have excellent local knowledge about .. well, everything! After finding out we are keen walkers, they even offered to drive us to a walking point with our car at the other end, so that we could walk one way rather than out and back! • 505brydiep (10/5): Relaxing and romantic - Absolutely lovely stay. Only problem was that we should have stayed longer! Stunning scenery and beautiful atmosphere. It was very relaxing and romantic. We happened to pick days when it rained the whole time but that didn’t even bother us, actually added to the beauty. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and respectful of privacy. We will definitely be returning next time we need a romantic getaway
• paulmG1055BX (10/5): Weekend getaway - The cabins at The Falls are a great location, nestled down a surprise walkway through lush forest. We stayed for a weekend and Alan and Aryna were excellent hosts – nothing was a problem for them. Alan made suggestions for local restaurants and even made dinner bookings for us – all of them excellent. Alan also conspired with a local art gallery to hang a painting I had purchased as a surprise for my wife – a generous touch and not a service you would get from many places. We’re looking forward to our next opportunity to stay at The Falls.

The rainforest setting is beautiful, with the cottage located down a boardwalk from the street. The location is still convenient - a short walk to Kondalilla National Park entrance (and restaurant) and a short drive to Montville Main Street. Great hospitality from Alan and Aryna.

Breakfast provisions were plentiful and catered to my dietary requirements (lactose intolerance). Nothing better than a real wood fireplace and double spa perfect for couples. With chocolates and tawny port complimentary, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have a comfortable stay.
