Matthew (7/5): - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and staff were fantastic. I also appreciated the large mini-fridge. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 2:30 am and interrupted our night. The furnishings, lamps, TV, dresser, etc. were dated and showing their age. The plug-ins on the lamp did not work so I had to recharge my phone by the sink.

mlk (10/5): Definitely would recommend! - Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, the heated indoor pool was great, but the best feature of this hotel was the staff. Pam, the GM, made sure when we arrived that we would have everything we needed for our family weekend ahead. Cami and Kristen (unfortunately I don’t remember the names of the others) at the front desk were awesome! They were friendly, helpful, and tolerant especially considering that some of them were snowed in at the hotel. The breakfast cooks did a great job and the housekeeping staff kept everything spotless. We would absolutely stay here again.
kcloudks (10/5): Shelter in the Storm - Our extended family stayed at the Christopher Inn while at a family funeral. The location was convenient and the hotel was clean and had everything we needed. They allowed us to use the breakfast room for a family gathering the night before the funeral. This was also the weekend of the multi-state winter storm of January 2026 and the hotel staff was so gracious and generous as we extended our stay and scrambled for meal ideas during this “shutdown”. Literally our shelter in the storm.
135gwennb (8/5): Great hotel if in different spot - I picked this over others because it is family owned but the reviews about noise from the highway is no joke. This hotel is super close the freeway and if you are on the odd number room side you will hear the highway. The breakfast is above average for a hotel free breakfast and that we found very pleasant, clean and attended well. Other than the noise the location is great and the rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

Room nothing fancy but very clean with good mattress. Breakfast was above average and kept tidy by a very attentive hostess. Has a family-owned feel, which it is. We were so impressed we changed plans and made a reservation for our return trip.

Steven Houser (9/5): Pleasant hotel in a traffic troubled city - The breakfast was great. The staff moved me across the hall from a single call as the highway noise was too great in room 429; 426 was much better (facing parking lot). There is a random arboretum within walking distance - little used, but present! the traffic on the main drag was very hard to manage. I ended up staying in, not exploring Chillicothe as I was so traumatized by traffic. One woman pulled up, blocking my entry into a restaurant lot, while sha was waiting on a light. Very rude, and that seemed to be the rule for Chillicothe drivers.

214darcyv (10/5): Great quiet and clean hotel, similar to modestly priced chain hotels - This was a nice hotel experience for me, on my way from NC to Iowa. I asked for a room at the nearby chain hotels but their rate was almost twice that of the Christopher, and since this cluster of hotels is owned by the same group, the front desk suggested I try the Christopher. I got a room on the second floor facing the parking lot. It was very quiet and clean, very similar to Hampton Inn but actually nicer than some of the older H.I.'s I've stayed in. There are two decent restaurants within minutes (walking) and many more just a short drive away. I liked this hotel well enough to stay there again on my return drive.

Breakfast was the same you get at any inexpensive hotel boring, bland and not very warm. The staff was okay but overall not a place I would recommend for a weekend or longer. On the bright side it's a quick overnight without the worry of bed bugs or roaches.. It was extremely clean and well kept.

Pamela (10/5): Fantastic hotel. - My stay was amazing. The room was beautiful, so nice and very clean. The staff were all so very nice and helpful. A few minutes after check-in I received a call from the staff asking if the room was ok, if there was any problems or if they could do anything for me. I’ve never had such attention from any other hotel. I will always stay here when I return and I do plan on return visits to the Majestic Theatre. I strongly recommed this hotel to everyone!!!

V1152VObrendah (10/5): Clean. Safe area. Near restaurants/downtown - Clean/near everything! This was a quick, overnight stay to see Tecumseh at Sugarloaf Ampitheater. EASY drive from Cincinnati. Beautiful drive. Hotel was easily accessible, clean, near restaurants and shopping during the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. (They changed our room to accommodate hubby who is an amputee.) They have an indoor pool AND hot tub, which many hotels are closing up.
