- Markus Thomas (6/5): - The room didnt look like on the photos at all. It gave us a spartanic impression. Very sober and cold. The bathroom was a disaster. You took a shower and it was literally flooded. The pool was milky green of color and could not be used. We sent emails twice, but they could not resolve the issue. We asked for a compensation since we booked the hotel because it has a pool. But the request was ignored until now. Breakfast was very good and staff was friendly in general.

- Paco (10/5): - We had a perfect stay in the Orkos Beach Hotel! The beach is just opposite the dirt road outside of the Hotel - and so is a Minimarket and some good restaurants. The staff is very helpful, friendly and always in a good mood. As an idea to the Hotel management: You could consider changing the bath towels only when needed instead of every day to save water. Oh, and what would be greatly appreciated: You could offer the guests to borrow parasols (of course in exchange for a deposit)! We“ll certainly be back for another vacation!

- Jane (6/5): - Hotel had a fantastic breakfast and was located next to some good restaurants and beaches however the room was dated and nothing like the photos. Both TV's did not work from the day we arrived and we advised reception. They were not fixed in total of 3 nights of our stay which was very inconvenient as we wanted to watch the euro football games. No apology or accommodating with switching rooms when we asked. Very unhappy with this service. Paid good money for this hotel and was really disappointed. Also only gave us 1 key for 4 people after asking for a 2nd key they said they don't offer a 2nd key. Extremely inconvenient for 4 different people coming and going at different times. Receptionist said we could leave the key at reception but it was only open until 10pm so wasn't convenient for coming home after that time. Don't need these limitations on holiday. Very frustrating

- rcb (10/5): Aanrader. - Mooi hotel. Ruim opgezet met verschillende gebouwtjes waar de kamers zijn verdeeld. Gebouwd in stijl van het eiland. Prima zwembad, supermarkt aan de overkant (incl strandspullen), fijn restaurant ernaast. Strand is aan de overkant en als je wat minder wind wilt dan even 10min lopen voorbij de rotsen. Meerdere leuke goeie restaurants in de buurt. Vriendelijke staf en een geweldig vers ontbijt met ook lokale “gerechten”. Heerlijke rustige ligging en voor korte surfers de ideale lokatie ivm kite surf strand.

- Katherine (10/5): - Amazing quiet location off the beaten tourist track. Three great restaurants steps away. The kite sailing beach is right across the street. You can't really swim on that beach, but we spent hours and hours watching the sailing, amazing free entertainment. Gorgeous swimming beach with ok snorkling 10 min walk away. The ocean on Naxos is unlike anywhere, its breath taking, and changes colour with the light level. Our room was huge, brand new and cleaned daily. Though they never cleaned or changed our drinking glasses during a 4 day stay. Great breakfast, something for everyone. Sufficient parking if you rent a car for a day or your whole stay. Staff super nice.

- David (8/5): Orkos beach - Très bon hotel avec accueil sympathique. Plage de kite surf en face de l hotel et belle plage abritée de vent à proximité. Excentré, voiture indispensable.
- Jan (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Orkos Beach Hotel. The room was big, well decorated and breezy. We had a balcony with an ocean view which was wonderful. The hotel is walking distance from Mikri Viglia, which was a wonderful beach for going in the water. It is sheltered and did not have any real waves to speak of. The water was crystal blue. There are not a lot of dining options that are walkable, but the 3 we found (were identified by the hotel staff) were terrific! Orkos beach is wonderful to watch (or particpate if you are up to it) the kite and wind surfers. It is spectacular. Not so great for beachgoing as there are no chairs to speak of and it is quite windy and you wouldn't want to be in the water among the surfers. We did not rent a car, but if we stayed longer, we believe it is a must. You can't get to any of the other Naxos beaches easily without a car. But, there is a car rental right near by and the staff can help you with that. It really seemed to be a family destination as there were lots of children running around the pool, which itself was not spectacular. Go for the beach, not the pool. Breakfast is adequate, but nothing to write home about. I did try to reach them via email through Expedia twice with no response prior to our arrival. I would have like to see them be more communicative. Probably a phone call would have made the difference as they were very resp;onsive once we were there. .

- NINA (8/5): - Superbe cadre, on est dans une appartement au design et à l'architecture authentique de Grèce. La chambre est très confortable. La localisation, la piscine viennent ajouter la touche finale. Excellente adresse. Un tout petit bémol, l'humidité dans la chambre durant la nuit, c'était sûrement du aux entrées marines mais il a fait très lourd et nous avons eu du mal à dormir malgré le confort du lit double.

- Sophie (10/5): 2*... PFFT. - I wouldn't be fooled by the Hotel's 2* rating. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The spa is great value and breakfast was delightful. If you are after the mussel and brussel of resort beach, head up the coast, this place has just the right amount of everything for a quite week on a paradise island. We have strategies looking at rebooking already!

Frühstück ist lecker, für jeden was dabei. Tolle Kaffeemaschine. Schöne , schattige Terrasse zum Sitzen. Schöner Pool mit genügend Liegen.

- Jihyun (8/5): Great secluded beach resort - Great resort, right across the street from a fairly secluded beach. Easy to get to by local bus, ten minute walk from bus stop. Hotel was clean and well decorated. Some rooms are located on the second floor so request a ground floor room if you cannot climb stairs or have heavy luggage. Staff was very nice and helpful. Helped us arrange ferry tickets and transportation back to the port. Supermarket and three good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Wi-Fi was pretty slow and unreliable. Beautiful beach, not crowded but lots of kite surfers ( some of them are just learning so be careful and don't swim too close to them).

- Verified traveler (8/5): Beachlover - Tolle Bucht für Kite- Surfer direkt vor dem Hotel, der bewirtschaftete Familienstrand ist allerdings 500m vom Hotel entfernt. Der Ort ist abseits und bietet nicht viel. Ein Quad oder Mietwagen ist notwendig, um nach Naxos-Stadt zu kommen. Ein lebhafter, recht schöner Ort zum Shoppen, Essen und Trinken und Athmosphäre schnuppern.
- Camilla (10/5): Cheap and pleasant - Such a nice and comfortable aparthotel! The only negative thing here is that it's quite far away from the city-center, so you need a quad or a car or something like that if you want to see Naxos. But the hotel is very nice! Good breakfeast, really big rooms, a clean pool, close to the beach and good service. Definetely not a 2-star hotel!
