Guest Reviews
- C&J (4/5): - It’s the only hotel in Baarn. Toilet took 15 minutes to fill up. Door handle to bathroom broke. Hair dryer didn’t work.
- Jorge (4/5): A far cry from a typical hotel. - Far from what I expected. It did not feel like a hotel, for starters there is no sign outside that says hotel, instead there is a restaurant sign for this site. No elevator and the stairs are dangerously steep. The heater did not work. There was no free parking avail at all and you have to park out on the street (we had to be outside by 8 in the morning when the parking meters started working).
The décor is really beyond grandma's style, really!
My wife wanted to leave as soon as we walked in but it was after midnight and cold & rainy outside so we just sucked it up and slept what we could, took a shower in the morning and left and will never come back.
On the brighter side it is in a very nice neighborhood and there is a train station close by.
- Darryl (8/5): In a nice quiet location. - We stayed here for a short overnight stay while we looked around Amsterdam. It is in a quiet little town not too far from the train station which is what we wanted. A supermarket is within a short walking distance. The room was comfortable, the shower good and the Wifi good. We thought overall it was a little expensive compared to other similar places but it was still fine for us. We would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Verouderde hotelkamers, lastige wenteltrap, geen lift.
- Marianna (10/5): - Nice location in Baarn centrum. Room a little smaller with simple decor, comfortable.
No elevator which could be an issue for some.
Nice dining room. Free parking and wi fi
- Karin (8/5): Ok hotel - Does what is says on the tin. Bed too soft for my liking though!
- Lis Pavia (8/5): - Restauranten var fremragende - man var tæt på at tro, at det var Italien
- Jans (8/5): - net verblijf,
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hotel Pomenade - I was overall very happy with the Hotel, service and staff were very helpful
- Verified traveler (8/5): - zaterdagavond rumoerig buiten, zondagochtend gehorig binnen, borrel heel goed
- Verified traveler (10/5): the hotel to stay for privacy - overall the state was very nice. it was a bit off of the beaten path but there weren't any major issues. the staff was very friendly and accommodating especially the young lady that checked me in period I think her name was Sharon a Shannon
- frankdjs (4/5): Dirty old and shabby hotel. - Bad service at check in and check out. Wifi did not work properly on top of room being old and dirty. Carpet was in such a state I did not take my socks of. TV did not work either.
- Liz (8/5): A nice little place to stay - I only stayed 2 nights but the room was lovely. Comfy bed, nice room. Not too small, but not huge either. The only down side really was the VERY steep steps to get to the room. 2 floors up with an 18kg case, I was almost on my hands and knees dragging it up!
My friend lives on Baarn and so this place was ideal and at only €115 fie 2 nights, it definitely was within budget! I'll be back!
