Gunter (10/5): Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The host and hostess were very friendly. - There were several choices for breakfast, all looked good. I had two of the choices while there. Both were very good. The eggs were very light and fluffy. There was a choice of bacon or sausage. I tried both and they were both delicious. There was a choice of water, orange juice, and apple juice. The road in front of the hotel is the main road through town. There is a lot of traffic passing by making it very noisy when outside but you couldn’t hear it inside. Also while we were there it was spring break. The pool is outside of the restaurant that has large windows so if you are in or sitting around the pool you are on display to the people inside.our

Our server was very nice. Our room was great. The bed linens and bath towels were luxurious!! We went to the dining room that night and got a sweet treat snack before bed. That was nice too. The chandeliers throughout are stunning!! Everything was great. I do not think their is anything else that could have made our stay more enjoyable.

Catherine (10/5): Fantastic stay! - What an amazing place. The owners/hosts Kevin & Diana were friendly, kind, and informative. We will treasure our gifted coffee cups. We loved everything about this hotel. The building itself, the antique furnishings, the chandeliers, the elaborate woodwork and painting, and tapestries. We enjoyed the covered verandas both upstairs and down. They had comfortable benches or table & chairs. Our room was very nice and quiet. The bed was super comfy. Kevin showed me to the room. And was showing me how to operate the TV. He couldn't get it to work. Before we had even returned from our car to get our bags, he had changed out the TV. The ice machine and shared fridge down the hallway were so appreciated. We had a fantastic dinner in their restaurant. Menu changes often. There is a nice wine list, too, and a full bar. My husband had a cup of gumbo. I tasted it, too. Wow, great flavors! I ordered triggerfish with crab. Never had it before. It was delicious. It is a nice flaky, mild white fish and was topped with crab in a buerre blanc sauce. My husband had the Vodoo Chicken & Sausage pasta. He said it had a wonderful smokey flavor. We had the blueberry bread pudding with vanilla sauce for dessert. It too was so very good. The only way I had room for dessert was to save some of my fish and potato for another day. Our booking had said breakfast was not included. But the owners said they had no issue feeding us. I offered to pay for breakfast, but my offer was promptly turned down. Wonderful.cooked to order breakfast with at least 5 different menu choices. We loved everything about this Hotel. It is on my list to seek out if we are anywhere close by in the future. There wasn't anything to dislike. This place is a GEM!

Bathroom hair dryer not sufficient. Bathtub glazing was flaking off. Shower curtain had mildew. No place to set shampoo or soap for showering. Road noise terrible.A split unit in the hall would help as well as dehumidifier with odor and mildew/mold growth. Hotel itself is beautiful and beautifully appointed. I would come for a drink at the bar but not stay again.

They have a restaurant that serves fresh steaks and seafood. For breakfast, you have 7 different meals to choose from, which is included. Amazing every time.

I can't remember if the pool is featured on the marketing material, but the pool is tiny and there's no poolside chairs or tables. This place is fine as long as you don't mind drives in thick traffic with lots of stop lights to the beach. Take the scenic route 90 into Fairhope -- that's excellent.

It is very old, and my wife really enjoyed the history. Food was amazing. We had an amazing quick trip and will plan to stay here again.

Lori (10/5): It was Awesome!! - It’s a beautiful historical B & B in the heart of Foley, AL Large porches overlooking the park across the street. A beautiful courtyard with a fountain and fireplace. Onsite restaurant with bar. Breakfast served every morning. Close to alot of local restaurants, outlet shopping mall, just about 15 minute drive to Gulf Shores beach or Mobile bay in Fairhope, Al. The owners are so nice and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Perfect long weekend get away. Thanks so much for your warm welcoming hospitality. We love this place!!

The property is a walk back in time with so much history. Close to shopping . Thanks for the coffee cup . Room was hot . Could not set the thermostat below 72 degrees. The bed was very uncomfortable. . Shower hose leaked . Would be nice if the shower head could be tilted at an angle. Not very conducive for use for hands free usage .

Allen (10/5): A truly charming Victorian inn. We will definitely be back. - The Hotel Magnolia is a wonderfully preserved Victorian inn. The architecture and furnishings are truly amazing. Every room and space is lit by a fabulous chandelier. We were truly taken to a bygone time. Our room and bath were very nicely furnished. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. There was nothing to not like.

Wayne (8/5): Nice place for a weekend getaway. - The staff are incredibly friendly. The location is wonderful (VERY safe) and I could talk all day about how good the breakfast was. The rooms were private and each had its own bathroom, which is unusual for a B&B. We stayed in the Azalea room. It was small (probably 10x10) but quaint. My biggest complaints were we had no control over the temperature in the room other than a fan supplied in the room and there was a light right outside of the room that was super bright. The clawfoot tub in the bathroom was nice but if you are not used to them, they have their drawbacks when using them as a shower. I would for sure stay here again, but would splurge for a larger room.

Vickie (10/5): Very enjoyable stay, we will be back! - Beautiful, relaxing environment. Superior service. Had a delicious dinner, enjoyed live music, and then a tasty breakfast the next morning. Room was a little stuffy, like it cooler when sleeping. However there was a fan provided which took care of the situation.
