The location is good, just 20 minutes from the beach, and we had no trouble with the walk uphill. It has a toaster, kettle, refrigerator, and microwave, so you can save money on meals. The housekeeping staff and the receptionist are very polite and kind. I highly recommend it! We don't use them, but there's a pool and a mini gym, for that price, there's no better option. I wish there had been blackout curtains on the balcony door; it was hard to sleep in because of the sunlight. The pillow was a little too high for my liking.

I’ve seen reviews about the steap hill and staff not being around on the spot. Yes, the accomodation is located at a steap hill. Nothing more :) For check in and check out: just let the staff or owner know the times, they will make sure they are there!

• Bibi (8/5): We love it here. - Its very clean and quiet place away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the shops and lots of halal food nearby. Close to the mosque which is important for us muslim. But you will need to rent a motorbike (available at the property) to get to the places as it is situated uphill. Make sure to get your international license as the cop is everywhere targeting tourist. There are no one to help you at the front dest though so if you will need information forget about it you have to do your own research.

• Camille (10/5): Hidden Gem in Patong - Value for the price, the location is from the busy Patong. You get a view of the nature and you can also see buildings from the main center. The swimming pool is good, it's warm. The room is bigger that I thought. The staff speaks English a little. They clean your rooms well and refills your water. I liked my stay here!!! It's like home away from home. The location is on a steep road. So if you carry luggages or have difficulty going up and down the hill then better to book a taxi or rent a bike from them.

Great value for money in Patong. The property is situated on a steep hill. It would be difficult to access if you had health/mobility issues. I had to call a number to check in because there wasn’t anyone at the front desk.

The staff were also really nice and accomodating. We also hired a moped which was very easy to do from the accommodation. • Dhustad (9/5): Cheap, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. - Deluxe room is spacious with a balcony. Usually beds in Thailand are hard, but the bed were super comfortable. Value for money. I do recommend renting a motorbike to get to the property, as the road up is quite steep.
• Ingo (10/5): Perfect, better than we expected! - Perfect spot to live directly in Patong but have some quiet and even a nice view for your time “at home”.. we loved this place, exactly what we were looking for, we booked the upper one of the larger apartments (with kitchen) which nicely suits 2 persons.. you have lots of space, a great terrace with a nice view, the pool area is cosy but beautiful and we loved dipping into the pool in the evening after our trips to Patong center or the surrounding beaches, the owner is such a nice and genuine person, that helps with everything.. all staff is great and what was a special thing I really liked is how the main reception area was decorated.. lots of surf pictures, sculptures, trophys, very unique and absolutely lovely.. and the prices are more than worth it.. yes the road to it is a little steep but with a scooter no problem at all and my wife even liked walking up the small hill.. we can only recommend this place and are happy that we had found it searching for a nice place to stay in “crazy” Patong 😁 - and (especially as we experienced in other locations later on something else) the pool area is nice and small but lovely decorated and the pool water actually refreshes.. perfect temperature and cleanliness.. and we loved to dip into it every evening even after spending the days on different beaches in the region ;) Of course this is a personal judgment based on what we wanted and expected. Actually nothing.. we liked really everything about our stay at Baan Andaman Sea Surf Guesthouse. You could argue about the steep road ... but if you are sporty no problem by foot, and if you have a scooter not problem as well.
• Jean (7/5): Good - Nice big room with good view over the city. The owner was not very helpful. When asked how to get to the airport, he said that the only way to go there is by taxi and unsurprisingly his brother is a taxi driver. But there is also an airport bus from Patong, which is ten times cheaper than taking the taxi. Not very friendly to try to scam the guests so that the brother earns money too.
