- Karen (7/5): Hotel ok but nothing to stay for in the area. Beach is grey sand not beautiful Thailand beach - Great comfortable bed and wonderful bed linen. Great pool loads of sun beds. Breakfast ok. Slightly overpriced the hotel was fine for 3 nights.
- Hazel (8/5): Great staff and wonderful position - The position was wonderful just a few steps from the beach. All staff were friendly and helpful always smiling nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable with the staff attending every day. The fridge and kettle in the room was good, with bottled water every day. Cups in the room would be nice on arrival, I asked in the morning at breakfast if I could take some to the room and it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was adequate but a little bit of variety would have been nice. Hangers in the wardrobe would also have been nice.

- Padma (10/5): Delightful affordable hotel in Hua Hin - The hotel is located away from the busy city centre, in a slightly hidden area, but still quite accessible. It boasts old world charm, nice large rooms, a bath tub and friendly English speaking front office staff. One of the best thing is - it is just 150 metres away from a beautiful beach, where one can just sit back, relax and enjoy the nice view and breeze. Lots of good food options by the seaside too. Ample parking is available in the hotel's compound, some are covered. I would definitely stay again in the same hotel if I return to Hua Hin-haven't finished exploring this nice town. The only sore point would be - a very bare minimum breakfast. If there's a better spread - then this will be an ACE.

- Jim (3/5): Poor - Nothing much except the staff were great First night, water coming out from bathroom light. Moved to another room, took two days to get A/C right, it was noisy and hot. The bathroom was small and badly designed, shower/ bathtub combined. Trip hazards there also. No tissues provided and no English channels on tv. The beach was lovely but the area was boring, nothing much there. Breakfast was average. Cannot recommend

- Ian (8/5): Xmas in Hua Hin. - This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Takiab Beach Resort and again we had a great time. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and the maid service excellent. The King size bed was very comfy and there was a full size bath with shower and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was always good with eggs cooked to order. The beach is about 150 yds. away which is clean with a good selection of bars/restaurants. The hotel pool was also clean and well maintained. Good value for the money. We will be returning!
