Beverley (7/5): Adequate not worth the money. - Location breakfast was nice. Room too small, light didnt work on one side of bed. Room too noisy in the morning it was if there was a drainage pipe above this room and it kept swooshing. I stayed here previously 3 yrs ago room was nicer. I probably wouldn't stay here again. Receptionist had no welcome letters said come back later. For the price charged its not good enough.

Rosanna (6/5): - The staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious. There was no towel rail near the basin, so I had to leave the hand towel on a shelf. There was also only one hook for bath towels, which is not ideal for two guests. The shower door did not close properly, and the shower only had a fixed head with no handheld hose. The heating system was not working, and the thermostat displayed an error message. I reported this to reception, but the issue was never resolved. The room phone was also not working, and the reception number provided could not be reached from my mobile phone. On the first night of my stay, a fire alarm went off at 5:10 am. It was eventually confirmed to be a false alarm, but no apology or complimentary service was offered for the inconvenience. Additionally, the restaurant was closed on the second evening of my stay due to a wedding taking place at the hotel.

Iris (5/5): Das Hotel ist alt und das Gebäude ist wundervoll, allerdings lässt das Personal echt zu wünschen übrig - Das Gebäude und die Lage sind excellent. Das Personal: an der Reyeption wurden wir muerrisch und mit so einem Slang begruesst, dass wir die Dame nicht verstanden haben.sie war dar[ber sichtlich genervt. Dann wurde uns ein Parkhaus empfohlen, von dem es in den Unterlagen heisst, dass man vom Hotel eine Ermaessigung erhaelt. Beim Auschecken sagte uns der Reyeptionist, dass das Parkhaus nicht das entsprechende ist !!! Wir haben 55 Pfund Parkgebuehren beyahlt!!! Dann haben wir am ersten Abend im Hotel gegessen: vollkommen überteuert und geschmacklich untere Kategorie. Der dortige Angestellte war sehr freundlich, aber nicht sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück haben wir vor dem Frühstücksraum eingenommen, da wir mit unserem Hund da waren…das ist völlig ok..aber, dass wir uns das Besteck und alles andere zusammensuchen mussten ist es nicht.

edel (8/5): This was my third time staying, there were six of us this time , I will absolutely go back again it is a lovely hotel an - This hotel is possibly the best location in Liverpool, close to everything but not in a noisy area There is a student from Belfast working there who was fantastic but some of the staff were very poor , the first evening we left after unsuccessfully trying to get a menu or drink order , we tried for over half an hour even going to the kitchen looking for staff , we were assured someone was coming to help us and it was not busy maybe a dozen customers who were not being served either

Ramsden (10/5): Very modern, well-located, comfortable hotel witih friendly staff and delicious breakfast. - We had a twin room and the beds were a good size. The en-suite was spacious and the shower powerful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The location was great - very central and easy to visit all the local attractions. Maybe a choice of eggs for breakfast to order separately from the full English.

CJMDebyshire (8/5): Historic building. Good location. Comfortable bed. Disappointing conversion. - The hotel is an historic insurance building and listed. Great architecture and interesting history. The conversion is ok not great. The public rooms are aesthetically appealing but not comfortable to sit in - form vs function. The bedrooms were similar. Quite large but a bit utilitarian. Our room had no suitcase stands or arm chair so looked a bit empty. The shower room was a silly design with the shower door opening inwards so either a cold start or wet floor. Overall the conversion looks like it was done to a budget using standard box designs that didn’t work in the spaces. The bed was a true king size and very comfortable. Room lighting and switches were again a template that didn’t work functionally. The designer likely never stays in hotels.

It was a nice location near a Tesco express, a 10 minute walk from the rail station, and a decent distance from, both the river and the city centre. The WiFi in the rooms were down, and the room could have done with more lighting.

The room was cosy, the bathroom set up quite weird the sink outside the bathroom the shower floods the whole bathroom and could do with a really good clean Sadly the bed wasn't made properly with the bottom sheet half way down the mattress you could see the dirt/stains on the mattress topper, this is really gross and should never happen. I'm unsure if the bedding was even fresh. The view was pretty, TV channels didn't work & carpet absolutely filthy Major clean needed on all acounts
David (10/5): Book this place instead of 16 QUEEN AVENUE COLLECTION BY HAPPY DAYS, if you want some stress and mind games, the opposit - After being scammed by 16 QUEEN AVENUE COLLECTION BY HAPPY DAYS , we booked online as a normal person does, there was no crystal maze task to gain your key by walking to seperated office, we were met by a lovely person checked us in and job was done we were comfortable in our room within 5-10 minutes, lesson learnt just book a place you can walk in and speak to people 👍 Everything no extra for late check out etc

scouser1077 (10/5): The pick of the bunch - We spent 13 nights with these great people, return guests who looked forward to seeing the staff. Location of this hotel beats any other in the vicinity, local really great restaurants, pubs and points of interest plus train services. The breakfast is value for money, a wide choice of cereals, hot foods together with your open choice of a variety of coffees, teas etc. There is a Happy Hour Mon - Fri, with cocktails or martinis at very reasonable prices. The huge upside is the staff, from the Operations Manager Bradley Fowell to all the support staff, be they working the breakfast, front desk or behind the bar, the smile always wins and very friendly conversation. We hope to return next year.

A big thank you to Craig and Aaron at breakfast for their warm and attentive service each morning. The bar team—Codie, Emily, and Cara—were fantastic, creating a great atmosphere and delivering friendly, efficient service. At the front desk, Wiktoria, Shane, and Leigh ensured everything ran smoothly and made us feel genuinely well looked after in every detail. Special mention to Janine, who handled our booking seamlessly and kept in touch before, during, and even after our stay—an exceptional level of care. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it perfect for a business trip. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning. Thanks Anne

FedericoASHH (10/5): Lovely team and great stay - I had the pleasure to stay at the ALOFT Liverpool for three nights - i wish i could of stayed longer as the team made me feel so welcome - few of them to mention Craig and Aaron ( breakfast time ) Codie and Cara ( in the Bar ) and the team at the reception Wiktoria - Shane and Leigh, what a great service and attention to details. The hotel and my room were just perfect ( i would like to mention the shower = awsome). In my past i have not been in Liverpool much - however because the Aloft i will be heading there more often, actually i just booked my returned visit.

Room was clean and available when we arrived slightly earlier than check in. Had a bar which was good to come back to for a drink before bed. Also very enjoyable breakfast with plenty of selection. Only slight negative was the bathroom door was a sliding door as opposed to a normal door, so didn’t shut properly. But that is only a small thing.

It looked like building work had been going on in my corridor and not cleaned up. It was impossible to shut bedroom doors quietly due to the locking mechanism so had a night of many crashing doors which disturbed me.
