- Les (10/5): Awesome. Saw some things not seen at another islands will go back for those things to explore in the near future - Extremely clean. Staff very helpful. They constantly checking on any needs. Friendly and gracious. Wish I could see more high quality in the US like I saw there. They were top shelf in all areas Wish they had a hot tub next to the pools. There was none on the grounds.

Pas accueillant, nous dit que le plat choisi n’est plus disponible mais le sert à une cliente 10 minutes plus tard, alors qu’elle a commandé après nous !! Cocktail commandé, mais pas le bon de servi et qui plus est dans un simple verre à sodas avec un mélangeur en bois plus petit que le verre … La douche n’était également pas très propre … À ce prix là, ça doit être parfait !

- Tony (5/5): HOTEL, très cher accueil et conditions d’hébergement pourri à revoir - J’ai apprécié le cadre magnifique, même si la chambre ma position était horriblement cher avec une vue sur les toits, c’était abusé, on devrait même pas commercialiser ce type de chambre, mais si on les commercialise, ils doivent être beaucoup moins cher que les autres de PAPILLON, autant d’argent pour avoir une vue sur la climatisation et les toits L’accueil des salariés semble blasé peut souriez un peu avenant, on a l’impression qu’on les dérange

- Ewonda (10/5): The Perfect Anniversary at Sonest St. Maartan! - My husband and I stayed at Sonest all adult resort for our Anniversary and enjoyed every minute to the first day arrival and time to leave. The staffs were very very friendly and took care of us. I rank this stay 2nd best to Hawaii based on the trip we have traveled. The food was amazing at every restaurant. The Azeral was our best restaurant to eat a 4 course meal. The Buffet restaurant was amazing as well. We had spicy Ox Tails on the 1st day at Ocean Point. Got to try them if in ST.Maarten. Our Anniversary was amazing at Sonest Ocean Point.

Pretty the same thing rotated for the different nights. Some staff were helpful and pleasant but most of them were just "there". Some of them expressed their displeasure of working there.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars on everything was because when I turned the AC to fan mode the ceiling started to leak, they did send maintenance to fix and clean it up. It happened the next day and no one ever came. The AC did work though. Another thing, we stayed on the adult side but the family side was way more active with more entertainment that should have been on the adult side. The adult side was more quiet and a little boring. The family side had a casino in their lobby and the adult side didn't. How's that possible? lol, The family side lobby had AC and the adult side didn't. The family side had great music and the adult side was quiet. It's like the adult side was made for you to go to sleep. lol They did have a little live singing in one of the pools for about 2 hours if you caught it but you would think the all adult side would be fun, fun, fun. My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon but we have been to livelier adult resorts. The staff and food were amazing!!!

The food was great but specially al Blue restaurant where in particular we want to thank some special people who work there and they are Jenneal, Schneider and Sidia they made us feel welcome and happy. If there is something we need to said is the hotel does not has a doctor nor nurse service, I had a cut in one foot and my wife has to run to the city to buy supplies to to cure it.

- Shandy (6/5): - Negatives: 1. They said they would decorate the room for our honeymoon, but did not. 2. The bed in our room had been slept in before. There was a significant amount of hair, glitter, sand, makeup, and other debris all over the fitted bed sheet. 3. There was no running water (shower/taps/toilet) in the hotel room for 3-4 hours during one day of our stay. Luckily it only happened once during our stay. 4. I slipped and nearly fell on a significant amount of water lying on the floor in the entrance of our room. It was water from them cleaning the floors in the hallway that morning. It leaked under our door. The housekeepers were great when we asked for towels to clean it up. The shower system is also a slipping hazard, as there's no full door so all the water goes all over the bathroom floor. Be cautious! Positives: 1. The adult side restaurants are awesome (especially Azul). It was beautiful, tasty, and the staff were wonderful. 2. Almost all of the staff were friendly and kind. 3. Minus the dirty bedsheets, I found the place relatively clean. 4. It's a convenient location with some beautiful views. 5. The staff that came by daily to see if we needed extra towels or water was much appreciated. I agree with other reviews: the drinks were a hit or miss. Sometimes they didn't even taste like they had alcohol and other times they were strong. Overall, we would return to St. Martin, but we would not return to Sonesta Ocean Point. It wasn't awful, but it also wasn't great.
- Judy (10/5): This was truly a great experience, and at this resort they did the all inclusive really well! - We loved this resort! The all-inclusive was great and the restaurants were very good. Because Ocean Point is adult only, it had nice energy and a more upscale vibe. We took our mid-20s son and a buddy, both of whom are studying aviation, and they were thrilled to see all the planes coming in each day with great views from the balcony. Everything was well kept and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's also nice that the adult side can access Sonesta Maho Beach resort right next door for food and music as well. Although we didn't really use them , there were restaurants and shops in walking distance right outside the resort. We only stayed for a few days before heading over to the French side for the rest of our trip but we definitely could have stayed longer! Pretty much nothing..

Azul restaurant — HORRIBLE experience. we weren’t allowed to eat here bc my partner didn’t have a collard shirt on. (He only packed one for this trip) They allowed us to eat with the azul menu but we had to eat it upstairs in the bluefin restaurant which did not require a collard shirt. The food from azul was good. we went back to do the same thing two days later bc we thought it wasn’t a problem but the manager gave us a bad attitude & was not nice to us whatsoever, but she did let us eat with the azul menu upstairs. On our last night we didn’t want to eat at the buffet or Mexican so we asked if we could eat with the azul menu upstairs. Attitude again but they said yes. A few moment later we were asked to leave. She asked us where we were gonna eat & we said we don’t know. Yet we paid $4,000 for this experience. The Italian restaurant let us take some lasagna to go the manger was sweet & cared. Feeling like we were begging for food felt degrading. Italian restaurant — this night my partner wore his collard shirt. the hostess brought us to the back of the restaurant bc we had a white wrist band (adults only) & told us that this area of the restaurant is exclusive for adults only side. This was cool because a lot of the restaurants are combined with the family side. We both got a Caesar salad & the lasagna. The service & food was great.

- Mouricesa Suzan (8/5): - The island of Saint Martin is beautiful! This hotel is right in the center of a lot of things. It has some great views. Getting a taxi was very easy. There were two employees in particular that went above and beyond in their day-to-day: Stephon at the bar and Justine at the reception. Those two employees made our time exceptionally well, despite having other rude encounters with staff. The rooms are OK and the adults only amenities are OK as well. I would rate this hotel a 7 out of 10.

The resort was breathtaking and there were so many options for food and drinks. Also wonderful pool with swim up bar. Locals were very helpful with were to go and what to do for nightlife and food.

Why was orient beach, one of the best in the world filled with ton measurements of seaweed or kelp? You couldn’t even walk on the beach. Island still has massive hurricane damage from 2017
- Tiffany (6/5): - My husband and I have visited a variety of all inclusive resorts and there were a few things that stood out compared to others. While the hotel had amazing views and some friendly staff, we were shocked how many employees were unfriendly. Many were on their cell phones especially bartenders. We constantly felt that we were inconveniencing them by asking for a drink. We would say good morning to employees we passed, and they would not speak to us. In other countries, employees seemed happy by us being there but here we felt completely opposite. We also were surprised by paper cups. The amount you pay to stay at this hotel, you would think we could at least have plastic cups. In addition, the drinks were inconsistently made by different bartenders. Some drinks just tasted terrible and they never seemed to care that drinks were just wasted. We stayed on the Ocean Point side and enjoyed the food. We never had to wait to be seated and the service was on point all but one night. We tried to eat on the Maho side but the lines were incredibly long. If you’re looking for a night life, this place is not it. There’s no dance club or really anything to do at night time. Unfortunately, we would not return to St Martin or recommend anyone to this hotel because of the overall unfriendly feeling by the employees.
