Het is dan ook een grote en drukke stad . Zeer mooi strand . Wel entree betalen voor faciliteiten , ongeveer €5 per persoon. Geen alcohol beschikbaar in hotel . Ook geen biertje .

Malini (8/5): Family-friendly and helpful - I was in Bandar Lampung to visit a family business which was a 20-minute walk from the Emersia Hotel. Staff at the hotel were helpful, efficient and friendly. The restaurant offers a few family packages for dinner which work well when hosting family groups. Everyone enjoyed the food and there is a small play area which is useful if entertaining families with young children.

Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg goed verzorgd. Het is jammer dat de weg naar het hotel erg steil is. Maar verder beviel alles wel goed.

Jj (7/5): Old hotel with friendly staff - Spacious rooms, clean and friendly staff. There were plenty of restaurants next door. Everything at the buffet breakfast was cold and not nice to eat. Air conditioning in the room turns off itself twice, and we need to inform the reception to turn it back on. The air conditioning itself was noisy.

675awc (2/5): Massage experience at Emersia - Tried out the spa & massage facility as apparently this is the only 4 star hotel in the city that offers the spa service to non staying guests and caters to female market, not sure about Sheraton (tried to reach out but to no avail). To sum up, it was the worst massage experience I have ever experienced by far. No one was attending at the reception desk when we arrived, we had to go inside and call for the staffs while they were chit chatting at the back. The whole treatment was tormenting rather than relaxing, the spa therapist clearly had not been receiving proper training beforehand. Uniform is way too revealing, you can tell that the therapist was not feeling comfortable wearing it. She kept adjusting her clothes in between the treatment. At the end of the treatment, we were told that card payment is not accepted and we had to pay either by cash or bank transfer to their personal account🤔 We asked for the billing and they could only give us the yellow copy instead of white. Understand that it is managed by third party, but if it is a facility inside the hotel I suppose the hotel management should pay attention to it as it will eventually affect the image of the hotel.

Breakfast are excellent ! The have good variation menu, Good Taste and the view from restaurant is sea view. Best of luck Pak Budi and all the entire teams keep it up!!! ibnuy2020 (6/5): Staff checking the door battery - I stay with company group for 2 night, the room is nice, breakfast option is excellent, location of the hotel are not far from the city, near the Famous Mie Ayam & Bakso Alex, and we enjoy staying at the hotel until we are shock by the Hotel staff who is trying to open the Door lock when we are sleeping at the middle of the nigt at about 1.30 Am, he try to open the door with card but, he can not got inside because i locked my door, he is trying maybe 5x to open the door. after that i call the reception and asking who is trying to open my door, and he said that "There are Staff checking the door battery" at 1.30 AM????? . After that the staf who are trying to open the door, called me and he said Sorry that he was wrong to check room number. in another room, a dirty boiler kettle with lots of crumbs in it. Maybe the previously guests who used it to cook instant noodles. Frankly see noodles that have swelled in the boiler kettle is very disgusting. my advice should be more careful in cleaning the room!!!
GlobalGang (10/5): Loved the view, great breakfast and attentive staffs - We reserved this hotel after a quick research and was further immpressed when we checked in. The hotel was a bit dated but not tired and well maintained. The room's was just nice with a partial view of the Lampung Bay. Wifi was fast. We used the water heater for coffee and tea provided in the room and there was a cooler too which was great to chill our drinks. The bathroom was clean and fixtures were newly updated. The bed was excellent, comfortably hard for our old bones. The sheets were new and of good quality. Breakfast was the best with wide choices of both local and western. Delicious. Great coffee from the coffee machine. The F&B department did a great job..two thumbs up! As for the location, the hotel is located up on a hill overlooking the Lampung city and its beautiful bay. It's best if you have your own transportation. The restaurant has a 180 degrees view of the surrounding hills and the bay. Maybe the best view for breakfast, lunch, dinner and ice-cream in Lampung! I would highly reccommend this hotel for a first timer in Lampung, never mind if the rate is little high but the value will be worth every rupiah you put out. The staffs were always friendly, attentive and ever ready to help. Great job Emersia!
Dawn (8/5): - Staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early and received a welcome fruit basket and slice of cake. The rooms are decent with typical amenities. The AC was nice and cold. A nice perk was that everything in the mini-bar for our room was complimentary. My wife got a couple of massages while staying there. They were inexpensive but only OK. The mats are on the floor and the therapist gets on the mat with you to massage your back...uncomfortable to say the least. There was no difference in technique between the Javanese massage and the "Swedish" massage. There are no private rooms either - you are behind a curtain which they are not careful to keep completely closed. There were loud noises while there too. They had soothing music but I also hear a tv with a game show on in the next room and women laughing and talking loudly. Not peaceful at all. The pool was relaxing and there is a kiddy pool. Strange though - there are chlorine "cakes" all over the bottom of the pool. The pool is shallow enough to stand out of the water from the deepest section so you do step on these. The food was pretty good. The ribs were delicious. The food is generally inexpensive for a hotel. Don't be fooled thinking that "cream cheese cake" is cheesecake! Not even close. Breakfast is full and plentiful. There are plenty of "western" food options as well. There is a gym with the basic weights and machines. It was clean but there are usually no towels.
Mama2010 (8/5): Nice View at the restaurant - Stayed for 1 night. The room is nice, the view from the hotel is magnificent, Lampung bay view. Breakfast option is excellent. However, we are a bit bothered by the staff checking mini bar at 7 a.m., knocked on the door until answered, disturbing our sleep. I suggest checking the mini bar at the time of check out or at later time.

Thomas (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - This hotel is located on hill overlooking the mountains as they slide into a huge bay. There is a massive Asian breakfast with cereal, omelette, pastry and coffee for the westerners. The pool is small but refreshing with scented flowers adding to the mix. The rooms are clean.A welcome cake was quite a surprise. Global warming has all but destroyed the reefs. There are attempts at restoration but, like everywhere else , it is too little too late. A great hotel with friendly service.

Large, clean and comfortable rooms with all the amenities one needs for an enjoyable stay. Great breakfast with many choices that makes difficult deciding what to eat. On top of that nice views from the sea and nearby mountains. Definitively will stay here again during my next visit.

AbdulMuttalib (8/5): Better than standard 4 stars plus local flavor - First impression was of a good elevated location complimented by nice view of a bay when dining at the restaurant. Quite clean rooms with relatively clean bathroom, and linens, comfortable beds, but WiFi was a bit erratic. Tv channels and picture quality needs improvements. Sleep experience was excellent as the A/C worked well. Dining/buffet breakfast was quite delectable - buffet breakfast was quite varied but the cold food was a letdown. The food warmers should have been on throughout. The pool and gym were of good standard though the view from the gym could have been better. Overall, it was the excellent friendly attitude of the staff that would separate the Emersia from similar starred establishments. From the front desk where you are greeted with smiles from ms Setia, Hendro, Dwi, Rudi, and special mention to the very courteous Dinda; to the servers at the breakfast buffet. Also extremely helpful was the tall, young and boyish looking bellboy ( forgot his name ) who showed us the different rooms in addition to helping out reservations, to opening car doors. I tried out their executive room for 1 night, went to the Desa for 1 night, and being impressed with the Emersia, returned and booked 2 additional rooms.

Eugene (10/5): Great place. - Beautiful view, very nice staff, great room and grounds. We got the room on a sale, so the value could not be beat. The breakfast buffet was so delicious with lots of fantastic Indonesian food. The only complaint was the wi-fi cut out a lot and required constant log-in, but overall great stay.
Verified traveler (8/5): Good Hotel - From the first day, everything has been perfect and beyond expectation. Nice property, very clean and the best part is the breakfast. Love the customer service and smile on the staff face. However, im totally dissapointed with the spa because I requested for balliness spa which is for 3 hours but the treatment was only 2 hours. When I check with the receptionist Ms Destri she said she will check with the therapist Ms Ida. She came back again saying that I got up from the bath tub earlier which is meant for 15 minutes. When I said that even if I got up in 1 minute where is the balance 45 minutes? She apologised and said that is the best she could do. I paid full amount and return to my room. Its sad that this is a great hotel but spoiled by one matter. However, I would still recommend the hotel stay but not the spa.
