Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): - Great staff and clean rooms
- Theresa (2/5): - Literally the worst experience at a motel ever. First when we check in we have to give a 50
00 cash deposit which isn't shown on the listing. So then there's a convenient atm for an additional 3.00. I take out 60 give it to the manager as he's doing whatever. He then gave me the reciept which i demanded. He kept acting shady like he was pretending to not speak english. Then he tried to tell me he gave me the change which he didnt. I had to argue to get my 10.00. Have me a key and no direction as to where the room was. We drove around the bldg lots of people living there and hanging around...super uncomfy. The room was all the way in the back corner where we couldnt see anything. "Cameras" were everywhere with warnings that they arent responsible for theft or harm to you...sketch. the room was upstairs. Ashes on the wall(?) Underwear and other stuff under the bed. Rooms cigarette smell was so bad you could taste it. We drop our stuff and leave and try to find another hotel but we literally cant find another one. We come back a bit after 9pm. People again hanging around. We park the car under the window under a light. Come out the next morning. Someone tried to break into our car. Go to the office livid theres a guy in there mad because he woke up with bites all over his neck and his eye swollen. They wouldnt refund our money or his. Mgr didnt care. Made us wait 20 min to get our deposit back while he had them check the room. The police were called but no "footage"
- Russell (8/5): - Very slow check in process which took 15 minutes for some reason. Good sized room with 2 double beds, a fridge and microwave. Good and quiet AC unit and TV with a large choice of channels. Good nights sleep with little bit external noise. All bathroom facilities were perfectly fine, including a decent shower.
- Monica (8/5): - I enjoyed the stay
- Angie (2/5): Avoid. - I pulled in and drove around the parking lot multiple times trying to find an entrance. I never found one. I called and got no answer.
I sent a message on here and never got a response.
I went through the reviews and should have paid closer attention.
Apparently I needed to fight my way through a crowd of people standing around smoking to a little sliding window that had no or lights and check in there.
I went somewhere else. I wouldn’t go to this hotel ever again.
- Jorge (10/5): - Get what you pay for... not bad
- Danny (10/5): - Good
- Steven (6/5): - We arrived late due to a long day of traveling and had to check-in through a slit in an after-hours window just big enough to slide a sheet of paper through. Staff member was curt and not very helpful.
- Tim (2/5): - Rat traps every 5th door. Trash pile
Outside. This is hotel that has lot of weekly and monthly tennants. Scary place checked out after one night on a planned 4 day trip.
- Ellen (6/5): - They expect $50 cash deposit at check in. Basic lots of long term people and outside doors do not lock
- Kayla (2/5): Bed of bugs - I actually developed a bad skin rash due to bed bugs
- Lyle (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff neil was great the night stay was very relaxing and quiet nice hot water everything was clean no problems with any thing a great place to stay a good night sleep thanks again for everything
- Shannon (6/5): - If you're looking for a bed to sleep in this is your place anything beyond look elsewhere
- Karla (2/5): - Customer service is not good
- Quion (2/5): - Hair everywhere I’m
- Anthony (10/5): Comfy memorial day stay - Was a nice stay, General manager greeted us in the morning and was very pleasant. Beds were comfy and was peaceful and quiet throughout the night. Room was clean also! We will definitely be back! Thanks again! General manager and I even exchanged some nice words about family and Dorney Park!
- Wanda (10/5): - Great place I am will coming bak
- Lauren (6/5): - Bit dirty and
- Mary (4/5): - Ugh nice location that's all
- Marilyn (2/5): - The tabacco odor was unbearable. The covers for the bed were dirty and with cigarette burns. bathtub and toilet were soiled and unsafe. Heater and their buttons were dirty. Cleanliness, none.
- Christopher (2/5): - I go to check in and was told they need a $50 cash deposit. So someone who doesnt use cash i had to pay another $2.75 to use there ATM. If they want you pay $50 cash it should be advertised on the booking app. Get to the room pretty spacious. The heater is very loud and makes noise even when off. I like to take a bath and there was no plug in the tub. Needs more outlets in the room to charge. No clock in room either.
- joseph (2/5): bad - 1 outlet. housekeeping didn't even come the whole time
- Danny (10/5): - It's very clean n quiet no issues
- Peter (8/5): - A good value for the money. Easy access to the highway. There's a Denny's across the parking lot which had a nice Christmas dinner available. Also The Bethlehem Diner for breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
- Emily (6/5): - The bedside tables did not have lamps.
Towels were dirty.
The room smelled horrible, regardless that is a smoking room.
No hangers.
No coffee maker.
Staff was very nice
- Verified traveler (6/5): Think twice - It was the less expensive of a hotel on my route. Honestly, I'll pay a little more next time to bypass this establishment. The workers seemed fearful of patrons...making the stop uncomfortable. One needed a cash deposit with no exceptions. And handily, there was an ATM next to the counter. When checking out, there was a window covered in paper. The person slightly opened it slightly and had to holler for communication. Not so traveler friendly by a long shot.
- Omar (4/5): - Dry slow staff. Demanded 50$ cash deposit
Smells very bad and clearly drug infested
- Hector (2/5): - Esta sucio
- Cynthia (2/5): - There were bugs in the room. The shower curtain was moldy. The bathroom stunk. There are a limited number of electrical outlets. THERE WAS NO PLACE TO PLUG IN A CPAP MACHINE.
I am not a picky person, so take my suggestion, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are plenty of hotels in the area. This is the worst place, in the US, that I have stayed in.
- Estelle (8/5): Needs a good cleaning - Overall, the stay was okay. They met our needs, however, the place was not well maintained. They never cleaned our room while we were there. The lid to the toilet belonged to another toilet bowl. The shower was dirty and had scum from lack of cleaning. it was close to the airport and shops. the location was great. But the place can benefit from a good cleaning and an update.
- Julianny (2/5): - The place was very dirty.
- Brian (4/5): - Sticky carpets, peeling paint, mold stained caulk and a combination shower/bathtub without a stopper is just a shower you need to step over a wall to get into. Do any hotels clean and make up your room anymore? This one didn't.
- Devron (10/5): - It was quiet
- Stefania M. (8/5): - For the price, it’s a great place to sleep and shower. Staff is really nice!
- Svend (10/5): Very nice inexpensive motel. - It was a short stay for the 4th. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The deposit was reasonable and the price affordable even for a (neat) homeless person with nowhere to go on the 4th.
- Scott (2/5): Horrible stay - Dead bed bugs shells and blood stains. Room was extremely dirty. Left hotel and was told I had to call the next day for a refund. Called five times and was told no one was available to do a refund.
- Micaela (2/5): - There were rats in the room
- Tameka (2/5): - This place is extremely dirty. Blood stains all over the mattress as if someone died on it or something. Staff is rude. Broke my ID and lord and said she never touched it.
- Shaquira (2/5): - I took videos and pictures they gave me dirty towels there was a hole on the sheets and blankets there was blood on the pillow it was terrible people screaming and yelling i couldn’t even sleep.
- Miguel (2/5): - Roaches, gave us room where other people were staying already.
- Sebastian (2/5): - Worst place I've been in.
- Arnold E Allemand (2/5): - There are no words that can describe how awful this place is. The only nice thing I can say is the attendant at the front desk was nice. Other than that, stay clear unless you’re looking for deplorable situations happening at the hotel and a sketchy place to sleep.
- Charissa (4/5): - This place was inexpensive, but absolutely no frills. very dated, in need of multiple repairs, and dirty. I would not stay here again.
- Vivien (4/5): - 1. no breakfast at all although your site says it has breakfast!!??
2. no cloth hangers
- Meghan (4/5): - It was just dirty and so many people that were so loud.
- Christine (2/5): - Staff could not communicate well do to language barrier.i asked for first floor and was told okay, then given second floor, we had 4 people in our party, only 2 towels in room, bathroom sink had cracks in it, tub had mold under grab bar and the mini fridge was leaking water all over the floor when you opened it. Fire sprinkler was falling out of ceiling, and you could see daylight behind the heater wall unit. Heater had no thermostat, so the heat would just run, we had to keep turning it in and off to maintain the room Everytime you walked into the hallway you smelled weed. Door to stairs was propped open letting below freezing air up into hallway. Vending machines were empty. Ice machine worked good. Very very poor, I would never stay here again.
- Theresa (6/5): - The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was no dresser, a closet with 2 hangers and the towels were thin and scratchy. Not enough electrical outlets, none near the bed. Very basic.
- Tatiana (2/5): The filthiest, unsanitary place - stay away!!! - This was our worst hotel stay in my entire life! Hotels.Com should remove this property from its listings and van from ever listing with them again in order not to discredit its own reputation! Never in my life have I seen a place as filthy and unsanitary as this. They must get inspected! This establishment should not be allowed to operate for sanitary reasons! The first room we were put into smelled like a morgue, the toilet was unapproachable - filthy, moldy and cracked, the bathtub was filthy beyond any comprehension and cracked, same applies to the sink. The chair was simply untouchable. The beds were made, but revealed a horrible surprise - the linens were not changed from previous guests had pubic hair, hair, eyelashes, dirt and there were mice droppings under the pillows. Room was ice cold. We were out within few minutes, back to reception stating that the room was not acceptable. We would have left and asked for a full refund, but it was late and we had to get up very early for a ski race at Blue mountain, so had no other option but to stay. We were put in the handicapped room next to the reception, which was much cleaner. The bedding was still very iffy so we slept in our clothes. The hearting system had to options to blast heat or to be off - so the room was hot as a sauna as a result. When we search for hotel our filter was set for breakfast to be included - that was a deal breaker for us. Off coarse there was absolutely no breakfast offered of any kind. Stay away!
- Idriss (4/5): Poor - The hallways and steps were dirty. There is police activity at the hotel half of the time. Too much noise.
- Rhonda (2/5): Dont stay - Tv did not work. No phone in the room. Lady at front desk was not concerned at all.
- CYNTHIA (10/5): - They were very friendly
- Kevin (4/5): Review of Scottish Inn and Suites, Allentown, PA - The hotel is run-down and dirty. Felt very unsafe walking through hallways. Nothing special whatsoever about the room. Felt a bit slimey.
Came home late at night after the first day to find that there had been no room service. We understand that some hotels are doing this, but it would have been nice to have some sort of heads up. Nothing special about the customer service at all.
- Robby (10/5): Good - It was good
- michael (2/5): - Non-smoking rooms wreaked of smoke. Paint falling off ceiling and walls
- Verified traveler (10/5): Decent place to lay your head. - An overall decent room and good place to lay our head at night. We slept great . We noted some scuffs on the walls from what looks like furniture being rearranged. Front desk took note and will address so not worth posting pics Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect for dining, shopping and catching an Iron Pig game
- Mary (4/5): left much to be desired - The dresser was completely broken, the condition of the bathtub made me fear for my health.
And they made me pay a $50;00 deposit. If I had not been so totally exhaused when I checked in I would have demanded another room but I was only there for 1 night. I doubt I will book this place again.
- Alejandro (4/5): - Honestly, this hotel is disgusting. They don’t clean anything. Everything is falling apart inside, the beds are disgusting they stink. I just couldn’t believe the conditions of this hotel. I was so uncomfortable. And on top of all that the staff couldn’t understand anything I was saying so it was difficult to check in.
- Natasha (2/5): - The hotel was one of the worst I have seen, there was a bunch of broken stuff, lights out, damage to walls. The worst was the fact the beds were remade without new sheets and one was remade incorrectly (sheet was in the wrong layer). There was hair, grit, and a bunch of slept-in wrinkles in the sheets, and hair product on the pillows. As well as crusty stuff on the top blanket cover and filthy floors. I was absolutely disgusted.
- Nancy (2/5): - Filthy, holes in walls and ceiling. Needs major work
- Damaris (2/5): - It was horrible. Mold on th ceiling. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Dirty. Never recommend to anyone. Will never stay here. Hallways dirty. No covid protocol.
- Larry Charles (4/5): - The hotel is run down very bad. The smell in the rooms and corridor was like a wet cigarette smoke. The bed mattress was beyond wore out. Like trying to sleep in a sink hole.
- andrew r (4/5): - The sign by check in said "due to covid no housekeeping. If you don't like it leave". Bathroom mirror was cracked and taped. Paint peeling from ceiling. Not classy in any way.
- Tara (2/5): - Rude staff signs posted that no rooms are being cleaned due to covid.Horrific experience
- William (4/5): Won't Go Back - First we were given a room that already had someone staying in it. Second we had problems using the tv, and when we turned on the tv, the tv blew the power to the room. The desk clerk always helped us out, but he did not seem to thrilled to help us. Also, the sink drained very slowly as there always was water in it. The only plus was the motel was quiet and next to the interstate.
- Javier (2/5): - Very Dirty nasty carpets just Nasty
- Wanda (2/5): - While going into the room people outside smoking n drinking rachett people around. I was shocked
- Michael (2/5): - Front desk people have terrible attitude, room had no sense of security n they let drug addicts hang around
- Andrew (4/5): - This hotel is one of the worst hotel i ever sleep
- Mike (2/5): - long check in and confusion, toilet had feces and looked like shower had been used including hair. nd cigarette butt upon arrival,
- Albert (2/5): Beware of this Bad Bad Place! - We checked in and stayed less than an hour. The room was filthy-the sheets were not changed! I spilled some water on the floor and when I used a towel to wipe it up, the white towel turned black!! In addition to the lack of cleanliness of our room, there were several men hanging out in the parking lot which made us feel that it was a very unsafe atmosphere to spend the night in. Do yourself a favor and do not place a booking at this place. What a waste of $100!!
- Ramon (6/5): Needs Improvement - The First room had food in the fridge and the lights in the bathroom were not working. So they gave us another room. This room has paint chips falling from the walls and ceiling. We stayed for 2 days they never bother to clean the room change the linen throw out the trash or even replace the towels.
- Robert (2/5): Sleep In Your Car - The entire place was a total sh*t hole. My view of the pool showed me the pool cover in place & it was full of garbage. I only found 1 ice machine working. The one on my floor didn't work and fruit peelings in it. None of the outside door locks were functional. The floor in the room looked clean but it was 'sticky" so I wore shoes the entire time there. The bath tub had been 'recoated' some time ago but most of the 'new' finish was mostly gone. If I hadn't of needed a shower in the morning, I would have slept in the car.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Visitors smoking all around the property
- Isaac (2/5): Disgust - The dirtiest forbade hotel room was disgusting had to buy my own blankets and pillow and towel for the stay the bedding was nasty. Just a terrible place should be condemned with holes in the wall and everything.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for - I chose this hotel randomly on my way home from a long road trip. I travel frequently, out of the country, many cheap hotels, and do not usually have a very high bar. This hotel was a bit on the edge of what I am comfortable with. Looked kind of like a shady/cheap hotel in a movie about drug or human trafficking.
PROS: Easy highway access, lots of businesses around, front staff was very friendly, sheets smelled and looked clean. Cheap. Free wifi was good. We made it out safely, and no bedbugs.
CONS: Room and hotel were incredibly run-down and dirty (dirty cup on the floor in my room, pile of dirt next to the bed, soap scum in the bathtub, frayed rug in hallways). I did not feel safe, just because of the look of the place. Room is reserved through a window, which may be a COVID thing. Entry doors to room hallways did not close, never mind lock. Non-smoking room smelled like old smoke. Sign at the check in window said that they weren't cleaning rooms because of Covid (I assume that they meant for multi-night stays) and that if anyone complains they will be asked to leave.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room AC had a leak, and there was water on the floor when I arrived. I was told a repair man was en route, but he never showed. The refrigerator did not work, and 3 of the five lights in the room were burnt out. The comforters on the beds had multiple tears and burn marks on them, and the head boards of the beads had some disgusting markings/stains on them. On the plus side, I brought this to the check in attendants attention, and informed him that I was in no way possible liable for these damages, and he agreed and credited my deposit.
- Barry (6/5): Disappointed - If you just need a place to sleep, it's ok. Outside pool is closed, I was told due to COVID-19 restrictions, yet other hotels, which have inside and outside pools, do have them open. Second floor ice and snack machines, were both empty. First floor ice and soda machines, were both working, but there isn't a snack machine. No breakfast, as advertised, due to COVID-19, yet other hotels have either bagged breakfasts or at least a free coffee machine. This one had nothing.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The refrigerator smelled like a dead animal, there were visible stains on the “clean” towels, mold in the ceiling of the bathroom. Overall I would never stay here again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The sink in my room was busted. The tub was horrible,I had a room for 2Adults and 2Kids and we only had 2 wash rags in the room housekeeping never came around I had no toilet tissue it was just a reck.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel room was disgusting the air conditioner was broken literally I’m the floor. The bed was filthy it had bed bugs and the mattress was brown. The refrigerator was broken and had feces inside. I didn’t even stay 2 mins and they refuse to issue me a refund I would never use Expedia again nor will I ever go to that hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bes was broken in half. Dirty.
- James (2/5): Horrible place - We had to check out, place was terrible, rooms dirty, Mattress were dirty, place smelled terrible.
- Rob (2/5): - The place was dirty trash everywhere outside the building in the hallways someone left their trash and dirty towels in the hallway from the dad from the moment I checked into the morning I checked out grass beside every trash receptacle outside car with me clean ceiling tiles are falling off it was horrible never again
- Verified traveler (4/5): Extra 10$ - Charged 10$ for checking out at 12 think I should of been given a courtesy all the times I stayed here. Thumbs down won’t stay again.
- Kyle (2/5): Terrible place to stay - The experience was horrible the place is filthy smelled like smoke room for dirty would never say that again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff was rude and seemed annoyed when I checked in. Room was not clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I’ve stayed here before and it was never this bad. There were half empty bottles of beer in the mini fridge, no toilet paper, the floors weren’t clean so I would be surprised if the sheets were even changed. There was trash shoved under the bed. I’m very disappointed. I would’ve checked myself right out after seeing that room if I didn’t go get something to eat after getting the keycard and checking in. I doubt this place is even following covid cleaning procedures. I could go on and on about how unfit this place is. Highly overpriced for what you get.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nothing much to say, motel is good and affordable for staying.
- Gregory (10/5): - It was ok but the room had a problem.
The bathroom ceiling was bad mole and the door hinges was rusty and the drain from the tub rusty I told the front desk clerk.
Thank you
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Heater A/C problems. Room was cool, upon entry. After turning heater on, to warm it up, it would cool down, nor would it shut off. None of the controls responded.
- MACKAROON (8/5): - MY ROOM HAD NO REFRIGERATOR. BUT THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE PROPERTY WERE GREATLY FRIENDLY.
- Robin (2/5): Awful, Filthy, Avoid if you can! - Awful, Filthy, dirty! The worst hotel that I have ever visited, everything was dirty including beddings, toilet, floor, tubs. The bedsheets were not replaced, had stains all over it, sticky dirty floor. The room was non-smoking but you can smell cigarettes inside the room. The corridor was stinky with weed smell.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They did not come by once to pick up trash or clean, the staff is not customer-related or friendly at all, but this used to be a nice place. I've watched this place go down hill. I used to love to stay here but I don't think I'll book a room there ever again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Property is way past its prime. Room and hallways discussing.
- J (2/5): Don’t go - Met head house keeper in room 236
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was trash pilled in the halls, trash pilled all over on the outside, the dumpster was full.We will not stay there again.Overall not a very pleasant stay.We were very glad to leave.Staff were not at all pleasant. L&S
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Smells like pure cigarettes every where no coffee in the room, customer service was horrible. These rooms should go for what half I paid if that! Never again!
- Tsk (2/5): - Light switch didn't work, cover to a/c came off, door card not working, tub disgusting.
- Jen (2/5): - This is a filthy place to stay at! Smell bad, sheets are stained, bathrooms are discussing, didn’t even provide an unused toilet paper. Would not recommend booking this place at all.....
- Davie-Ann (2/5): Stay else where!!! - It was disgusting, random people asking for prostitutes and very gross.
