• Raylene (7/5): Location was perfect and a good hop off point to go further up the coast. Easy walking distance to everything. - Location- directly across from the beach. Each walking distance to everything. Bus stop across the road directly to Australia Zoo. Secure off street parking. Friendly helpful staff. Interior of the unit very tired and dated. More crockery and cutlery would have been helpful.

• Patricia (7/5): Great spot and really friendly staff but apartment needs a bit of loving. - The location is amazing! Some things didn’t work. The sink was loose, the stove top didn’t work properly, the shower gel container was almost empty, the ashtray still had cigarettes in it.

Our room was absolutely filthy, half eaten food still in freezer and had a water leak that had been going on for a while, cockroaches too! We were given a new room after requesting one which was very nice and clean.

• Jade (4/5): The view was fabulous and the staff were kind. I didn’t expect anything fancy for the price I paid, but I did expect a c - The pool was a highlight for me and my girls. All tiled floors (bathroom & interior), inside kitchen cupboards & draws, laundry cupboards, and the entire outdoor area were really grubbie and clearly not regularly cleaned properly with dirt, layers of dust and wrappers present. The sliding door in the main bedroom kept coming off its hinges and was so heavy and difficult to put back on I stopped opening it. The curtains in the main room and lounge were very dirty and had been haphazardly attached- I had to fix the connections to stop the sun coming in. The fan in the second room wouldn’t swing or work properly. The single bed bed slats kept popping out and needing putting back in to stop the mattresses sinking. The small glass coffee table and side tables in the lounge legs were so loose they came apart when they were moved and I just caught the glass to screw the legs back in.

• Donna (8/5): - Location Location Location Excellent value for money Clean And all the features of home, pots, pans, decent hair dryer, washing machine, clothes drier plenty of extra pillows. Great Birthday weekend away with the family. Air con and fans could use a service or upgrade perhaps. Also only other issue was no egg flip! First world problems I know 😂😂 But when you are a terrible egg cooker you need all the help you can get.

• Simon (5/5): Great location at a good price if a little tired and old - The location couldn’t be better. Beach right across the street with surf and life saver patrolled swimming flags. We were at the top so more stairs to climb, but a great view of the sea front. It was pretty much what I was expecting from the photos, description and price. You get what you pay for of course. These are older apartments that are really hanging out for renovation. All the different entrances can be confusing when trying to find the tight and narrow parking space. Wifi was pretty terrible-definitely do not expect to be able to work from here as it drops out regularly and is slow as. Some lights and windows didn’t work. Beds had serviceable, but mediocre mattresses. Ultimately though we had a great stay in banging location for an economical price.

• jfmm (7/5): ok para Sunshine coast, boa opção para o Australia Zoo - a localização é muito boa, de frente para o Mar, possuí restaurantes próximos, um club de surf que tem salvavidas, a praia é deliciosa. 27 minutos do Australia Zoo. apartamento não estava bem limpo, muita poeira, o ar condicionado somente na sala não da conta, precisa ser reformado, outras unidades no mesmo condominio estavam reformadas e muito melhores.

• Beau (1/5): Worst holiday of my life. I have never been so uncomfortable. - Right next to the beach. 1) Aircon was broken - we endured 32-34° degree temperatures in a brick/concrete room with poor ventilation and air flow 2) Due to the above, we each got 2-3 hours of broken sleep each night 3) The hotel knew in advance that the aircon had broken, but opted not to tell us until check in. Whilst they gave us an option to cancel and “find somewhere else”, this was not acceptable after driving for 3 hours and it being the first day of a long weekend (as if we could find something else that wasn’t $$) 4) The hotel looks like it has never seen any renovations or upkeep - everything is old, dated, stained, falling apart, dirty 5) No light bulb in the second bedroom’s light - hope you like not being able to see! 6) Door in the second bedroom was off its hinges and couldn’t be closed for our stay - no privacy

• Sabrina (3/5): Extremely disappointed - The location is great, just by the beach. Mostly everything we didn’t like, the bed has dirty sheets and found alive ants 🐜 when lifted the sheets.( these were changed by the staff but still I was refused early check in cos of cleaning) so those dirty sheets and ants should not be there… The kitchen and the cutlery…. Oh my goodness… terrible dirty… cooker absolutely disgusting 🤮….

• Kirsten (5/5): Nice but not - New staff hired was fantastic, however the apartment was dirty. A flask water bottle was left behind a lamp,poo on the toilet seat,grubby walls,dirty kitchen amenities, and dust all along the skirting boards of every room. It felt grimy
• Carmel (8/5): - Excellent location. Good size apartments. Very honest, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent assistance and effort when required, due to air-conditioning issues. I was moved to another, better apartment which was so appreciated. The underground carpark was very tight to manoeuvre cars in and out of allocated spaces. The old air-conditioner stopped working and the old ceiling fans did not work well in my first room.
• Luke and Jade (3/5): Great location and view. Needs a lot of upgrading! - Location and view We had to fix a few things whilst we were there - the main bedroom curtain rail fell down on us. A single bed, was broken (slats) my husband had to fix them both which took a fair amount of time. The oven door fell open and landed on my toe. Overall maintenance was poor and needs some attention. Bbq was not working. Lacking additional items in kitchen. Dining room chairs need looking at - wobbly and ready to break.
• Jeremy (9/5): spacious but cozy weekend away - reception staff were lovely, apartment was very neat and tidy, had pretty much everything we needed for a weekend stay including cutlery and cooking utensils. All round great place to stay Nothing worth complain about in terms of leaving a review. everyone has different preferences on what they like and don't like, but for me and my partner we found the place more than acceptable for a weekend getaway

• Jody (10/5): Don’t judge a book by the cover! Beach front haven! - This is in the most prime location of Alex Heads. Upon arrival the building is quite older looking but not run down. Directly across from the main beach, coffee shop and convenience store. We staying in apartment #2 for 2 weeks. Which is one of the newer refurbished apartments. A ground floor apartment 2 bdrm 1 bath and was perfect for a family of 4. We did look out over the pool which was great as we have older kids and could watch them from the balcony The apartment had absolutely everything we needed down to a coffee plunger! (Ground beans available from across the road at the Booley Cafe) Washer and Dryer were good quality and definitely came in handy. The staff were really helpful and lovely and went out of their way to accommodate. My only suggestions would be aircons in the bedrooms would be nice and little cleaning items such as a broom etc but only minor things! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday :) Cant wait to come back next year! Car park As its an older building the car park didn’t fit out 4x4. However staff helped us arrange to swap with another guest.
• Therese (4/5): Family of 4 visiting to catchup with friends - The location is really great. The beds were comfortable though the bedrooms were hot. The windows and doors are not airtight so it is really really noisy as on a busy street. The external grounds (stairs, walkways, garage, etc) are really really dirty and messy. The unit cleanliness was pretty average also. The airconditioner is unable to cool the bedrooms. The second bedroom had a fan and a bunkbed (both nearly touching) so it was a little nerve racking for a child to climb to the top bunkbed without hitting head on fan. We arrived on boxing day and the fridge and freezer (and subquently most the unit) stunk of prawns. The manager accidently came to our apartment (mistaken for another visitor needing their dryer fixed) and I asked if I could get some bicarb or something to try and lessen the smell. He said yes but we never saw him again. There was only one cereal bowl (there were 4 of us). No smart TV so only free to air TV.

• Valeria (3/5): Apartment shared with cockroaches! - The good position The apartment was not so clean and the windows were open once we arrived. As a consequence, the temperature inside was so hot and there were some cockroaches walking on the floor. It has not been a good experience.

So very noisy. Great location but will likely never stay here again.

Shower was good. Dishwasher and kitchen facilities also ok. The situation was perfect. Old and outdated facility. TV didn’t work( no signal) No lift from underground car park . Poor wifi inside. X2 single beds non supportive and squeaky ! A very basic accomodation overpriced due to situation.

Being close to beach, signs of rust and corrosion on fittings like sliding insect screens, air conditioning unit and light fittings. Furniture tired. Interior definitely needs a swish up

• Sharelle (7/5): Accommodation was adequate for the one night stay. - It was close to where we required Required updating and was a little run down for the price paid. We were on the top floor, and required to carry luggage, Portacot, etc up various flights of stairs as there was no lift.
