• henj2026 (2/5): HORRIBLE, DIRTY, ROOM A MESS, TV DOESN’T WORK - Check in at 6 pm, go to room, no beds made, trash everywhere, no towels, never cleaned. No other rooms. Come back hr later room made. Stinks so bad. Used a whole bottle of lysol. Stepped on gum in the bathroom. I can’t make this stuff up! Still no tv. Front desk says change input. Remote doesn’t work. Not willing to help for 2 days here. Friends room the same. Unreal!!! Wish I had my phone to take pics.

Very quiet and clean and definitely would stay here again if we are ever back in the area. Waynesboro in general is a great quaint little town and enjoyed our stay!
• Michael (8/5): A quick, quiet and quaint Waynesboro PA get away! - Everything was as it was expected. Clean, neat and easy, staff was friendly and accomodating. No bacon or sausage with the breakfast - but it was still okay. Grateful to have eggs and sausage gravy!

• BackPacker634428 (10/5): Thankful for all their help and hospitality - We have stayed at the Cobblestone Hotel in Waynesboro for the past three years while visiting my 97-year-old mother-in-law, and each stay has been marked by genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff has always gone out of their way to help us feel at home during what has often been an emotional time for our family. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and very reasonably priced, which has made repeat visits easy and stress-free. Most recently, after my mother-in-law’s passing, the hotel was especially gracious in helping us host a family dinner and post-funeral reception in their meeting room. It meant more to us than we can say to have such a welcoming, supportive space to gather as an extended family. I’d like to give special thanks to Haley, Kristin, and Justice for their kindness and professionalism. Their care and attentiveness truly made a difference. We are very grateful to the Cobblestone Hotel team and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, value, and heartfelt hospitality.

• Angela (8/5): Mostly positive! - Great views to the opposite side of the road. The place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a few options. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest - almost made us feel like they were doing us a favor by checking us in and out.
• T8531DHlindac (6/5): Mediocre - There were pros and cons on this stay. We had 3 rooms. Two of them were lacking in preparation. One had no toilet paper (resolved quickly), had cookie crumbs or something similar on the bed and in the chair. Floor appeared to not have been vacuumed at all. Bedding in two of the rooms looked almost like someone had slept in the bed already. Very odd. The hotel had a bar in the lobby area but when we tried to get a glass of wine one night, the only person on duty said she wasn't certified to serve alcohol. Not sure why you would advertise a bar and then not have someone on duty to serve. I understand it's hard to get workers, but then offer another option...perhaps offer miniature bottles as a courtesy to guests when there's no one working to serve at the bar. The location was great for our visit.

The staff was wonderful. No issues at all. It's a small issue, but there were tiny bugs on the nightstand. Not a lot, but enough to notice.
• X5587BKsteves (6/5): Convenient to Waynesboro activities. - As you know, the place is dated. Normally we stay in Hagerstown in newer places and pay more, but this visit was a short one and was centered around Waynesboro. Cobblestone's rates are as high as I would expect to pay there. We are Hilton Honors Silver members and usually use True or Hampton Inns. Your shower area needs safety grab handles/bars. The desk lady (seems to be there most of the time) was very friendly and couldn't have more helpful. Steve
• Dan (8/5): - Overall a decent place to spend the night while hiking the Appalachian Trail. Not too far off the Trail although you made need a shuttle to get there. The hotel is located close to Walmart and other shopping.
• Aaron (10/5): - Me and my daughter came to town for a film festival so we weren’t at the property very much throughout our stay. However, the rooms were clean. The grounds was well kept and the location was near a Walmart and gas stations had we needed anything in a pinch. It was also a fairly quiet location. Staff was nice; good coffee.

• leroyw311 (4/5): Convenient location with a lot of rundown aspects. - The only chair in the room had wheels on it made it very difficult to get my socks on. The phone in room did not work so I could not call the front desk. The cable TV had something wrong with it and it said to call the front desk, but I couldn’t call the front desk. When I got in the shower The body soap was totally empty. The king size bed sagged on one side, the side closest to the bathroom, and whenever I tried to sleep on my side, I would roll off the bed. Other than net I enjoyed my stay.

Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming—it made a big difference in our overall experience. The property itself felt very safe and secure, with well-lit parking and a clean, modern atmosphere. You can tell there have been recently renovated—the rooms and common areas were spotless, updated, and very comfortable (with the fresh "new" smell we all recognize). Whether you’re looking to quietly unwind or stay active, the onsite anenities they have you covered. The nearby stores and restaurants are also very convenient. And the free hot breakfast? Worth waking up for. The biscuits and gravy were flavorful and satisfying, and the make-your-own waffles, always fun and tasty touch that we appreciated. We’ll absolutely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet, and welcoming place to stay.

• Doreen (8/5): Dangerous bedframe. Can put you out - Clean, breakfast Queen bedframe metal was sticking out, covered by bed skirt. As I was unpacking, I walked into it and smashed my shin. I made the front desk aware and had to keep an ice pack on my leg for 2 days. On file at hotel. Still hurts. Have pictures and should get a 1 night credit back.

They were also out of yogurt and the orange juice was out. The rest of the breakfasts were fine. The one day was just “off”. I’d still stay here again as everything else was great. Sorry the pool is permanently closed.

Both my room and the entire facility were super clean, accommodations were great, and the staff was awesome! Situated in a remote area, but very convenient to all the area amenities. Facility needs an elevator. Was told the only access is stairways. While I am not handicapped, it does become difficult to carry luggage to and from upper floors.

• X5587BKsteves (8/5): A very good week's experience.at Cobblestone. - We stayed for a week for my father's funeral. We have been Hilton Honors members for years and usually stay at Hampton Inns. Activities were in Waynesboro, so the Cobblestone location was ideal. Bedding rivaled Hampton's. The breakfast was very limited. I assume because of the very few rooms occupied. We ate out 1/2 of our breakfasts. Everyone was very helpful. The week of our stay was the coldest temperatures in over 25 years, but our room was very comfortable.

• Heidi (8/5): Very comfortable, centrally located to family in the area. - The bed was very comfortable. I slept very well while at the hotel. Our room was conveniently located at the top of a flight of stairs which made for easy exit with my two senior dogs. I did not like that guests were allowed to smoke immediately outside of the building. We live in NY so smoking can only take place 50 feet or more from buildings & public spaces. I just was not used to the cigarette smoke.
