• Rebeca (9/5): Buena estancia - Ubicación excelente. Buen ambiente y el servicio del personal bueno y amable. Brindan desayuno desde temprano 6am. Brindan oxígeno si lo necesitas. Puedes servirte mate y tés en cualquier momento en el área de restaurante :) Solo en la ducha hay que esperar unos minutos para que salga agua caliente.

• Giulliana (6/5): Podría mejorar - Me gustó la calidez del personal! Son muy amables, cálidos y muy buenas personas. La ubicación es única! A dos cuadras de la plaza de armas! Espectacular. El colchón duro, me duele la espalda horrible, no hay acondicionador, deben tener mayor variedad en el desayuno, no hay ascensor, como es una casa antigua se escuchaba absolutamente todo, tenía una ventana a la calle que estaba rota.

There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom in room 205, dirt and rust in the cracks around the bathroom, a burnt iron mark in the floor, and it just generally didn’t seem very clean. The bed was not especially comfortable with thin pillows. It was not as expected and nice to get out of there.

• Marieta (6/5): - Es una propiedad con buena ubicación, sin embargo la habitación que nos dieron, se le filtraba toda la luz del día y la noche, por cuanto no contaban con cortinas oscuras, el ruido de la calle, tampoco nos dejó dormir, parecía que dormíamos en la calle, no cuenta con buena señal de internet, lo que hace imposible estar comunicado. El desayuno muy sencillo. Ante la exposición de todos estos factores en contra tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiaran de habitación. Al ingresar hacer el check in, y previo a ello, informamos que eramos 2 huéspes, y no 3 . Sin embargo, alegaqron que eso era un asunto de expedia, osea perdimos el dinero porque nos cobraron siempre como si fueramos 3 huéspedes, siendo 2. Por otra parte, el check out es muy temprano a las 10 de la mañana, y no le permiten pagar para quedarse más tiempo en la habitación, sdi se puede quedar en la sala viendo televisión, es un hotel pequeño, muy básico, con buena unicación, por lo dempás, será cada viajero quién decida, donde desee hospedarse.

• Lilian (4/5): - O hotel está em péssima condições, necessita de reforma urgente. Tudo é muito velho, tem um carpete que está ali há mais de 30 anos, com certeza. O quarto é abafado e sujo, o café da manhã é péssimo. Pedimos para fazer o check out meia hora depois do horário estipulado e nos foi negado. Detalhe: éramos os únicos hóspedes do hotel!

• Raspadilla (10/5): Worth it!! - The hotel is near to the main square, price-service is pretty worth it. I read a lot regarding the breakfast in the past comments but it actually was pretty good. The staff was very friendly and even tho it’s cold the had heathers and extra blankets. Considering ALL I actually recommend this hotel. Price is equal to what you get.

• Charles (4/5): - Breakfast was very small. The room was extremely noisy facing the main street. We stayed 7 days. We asked to switch to a quieter room not facing the street but they refused. Room has no air conditiining or heating. They did have a portable heating unit. Location was fine as far as near plaza.
• Helio (10/5): Bom custo x benefício - Boa opção em relação ao custo x benefício pois fica próximo a praça de Armas e fácil deslocamento para qualquer local. Somente uma observação, o quarto poderia ter uma iluminação mais clara e ter mais tomadas disponíveis.

• Nyet Kim (8/5): - The location is on Av. El Sol. Easy walk to Plaza De Armas. Many shops and money changers around. Therefor it’s noisy special the room we stay just above this busy street. The hotel workers speak very little English, But, very helpful. They have no drinking water supply in the room, but they do sell Sol3 per bottle for a small one. We don’t really care about the breakfast.

• Victor (10/5): The hotel rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was amazing. - The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was accommodating with helping us carry our bags in as there are a few steps up to the entrance and to our room and at that altitude it is easy to get winded.

• Hazel (10/5): La mejor opción sin duda - Todo estuvo perfecto, excelente ubicación en la Avenida del Sol a minutes de Plaza de Armas, excelente desayuno con variedad y huevitos, excelente la comodidad de la habitación y el trato del personal que hasta ayudaron a mi papa quien dejó por error su bolso con dinero y pasaporte y todo fue devuelto íntegramente. Volveré definitivamente. Y excelente el precio.
• SeaWatch2006 (10/5): Amazing Staff - I have traveled over 70 countries and I’ve never met a staff as helpful as this front desk. I was dealing with a lost passport and Catia Morante was amazing. She assisted with printing all of the paperwork that I needed for my emergency passport application, as well as copying items I needed. She even asked her assistant Jessica to go across the street and make a photo copy of my drivers license. All of this with a smile and “is there anything else I can do to help?”
• Verified traveler (2/5): Experiência horrível. - A única coisa boa é a localização. O chuveiro tem vários problemas e de tempos em tempos não esquenta. O café da manhã é bem fraco com poucas opções O carpete do quarto é sujo e não aspiram. Tem um camareiro que escuta música alta e liga o aspirador de pó as 6 horas da manhã. A internet é bem ruim e para piorar os dados móveis não pegam direito na região.

• Camille (10/5): great staff, great location. make sure your reservation is correct! - location and staff booked on booking.com for 2 people for $38. when we got there we were told the reservation was only for 1 person and the second person would be double with two beds or we could do the couples room for $85. we chose the couples room and it looks like that was the same room we were going to get when they thought there was only one person.

We were provided with a floor heater and given accommodations for a comfortable experience. I appreciate all the hospitality that Hector went out of his way to provide us with as it truly speaks to the heart of Peru! I really appreciate the outstanding help provided by hotel staff on getting rail tickets and providing valuable information about site seeing opportunities and providing do it your self tours.

Some people have experienced problems but believe everything is clean, spacious, friendly service like in the photos. No need for another place.

• mutlugunay (6/5): Not one of the best option in Cusco - Hotel is located within few steps to Plaza de Armas. But other than that it is not recommended. Cleaning is average, breakfast is poor and the rooms are cold during winter season. The ceiling is low and there is no sunlight in the building.

Small bathrooms, lack of hot water, dirty carpets and poor selection of a sad looking breakfast offerings are symptomatic of management neglect. You should make sure that there is a heater in the room. Breakfast was ok, so was the location. However it is reaaly far from being comfartable.

• lourdes (8/5): Cerca de plaza de armas - El hotel está muy bien ubicado sobre la calle principal de cusco y a 2 cuadras de la Plaza de armas, cerca de todo. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y el baño pequeño pero funcionales,limpio y comodoTiene desayuno incluido con fruta, pan , huevo revuelto, jugo de fruta, etc. Creo necesita un poquito de mantenimiento para darle un 5. Es un hotel sencillo pero cómodo y bien ubicado.

• Cara (2/5): Pictures are deceiving, don't stay here - This hotel didn't even hit the minimum threshold of standards. After a day of travel, we were terribly disappointed to check into this hotel. The photos were not at all what was shown on the website. The lobby/check in area was OK, but the hallways to rooms were dirty, carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in years. The hallways were very dimly lit at best and in some areas, not lit at all. The carpet in our room was filthy and ripped. Walls had stains running down them. The sheets had stains on them. Worst of all was our room had curtain rods, but no curtains! And to make it even worse, one window looked out over the central staircase that all people would walk up and the other window overlooked the hallway. We asked to be moved and the only rooms we were shown were down a very long dark hallway. As we were walked to alternative rooms, several doors to other rooms were open and revealed various states of disrepair. I think our group were the only people in the entire hotel. The second day, they did enter our room (without telling us first) and hung curtains. The front desk person tried to make us comfortable but clearly couldn't fix these issues on his own. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
• Alexandra (6/5): Falta personal para atender los huéspedes - La niña de la recepción muy atenta, los desayunos pésimos todos los días lo mismo, tienen muy poco personal para atender a los huéspedes, hay un señor que se llama Hector que servía desayuno no sabe tratar a los huéspedes no tiene ni idea de servicio al cliente, cuando llegas rendido de viaje te toca subir por unas escalas empinadas las maletas, no hay quien te ayude

• tania paola (8/5): I suggest this hotel! - the hotel has a perfect location; near to markets, the most important plazas, exchanges facilities, restaurants and coffee bars, and tours agencies. the rooms were clean, and the beds super comfortable. the stuff were the best, they help us with everything and they were very concern for our health all the time (because the altitude sickness). we expected more for the breakfast though, I believe they can improve this.
• Adriana (6/5): A grande vantagem do Tampu Hotel é a localização - Na minha opinião a grande vantagem da hospedagem no Tampu hotel é a localização que é bastante estratégica, próximo à Plaza de Armas, a comodidade no deslocamento a pé para a maioria dos pontos turísticos no centro de Cusco é muito importante, além de ser uma área bastante segura. Em relação a higiene dos quartos e das áreas comuns considero boa.Achei os funcionários um pouco despreparados, apesar do esforço para agradar os hóspedes. O café da manhã também deixa muito a desejar.

Solo tomar en cuenta que el Lobby esta en Segundo Piso, y hay que subir equipaje, y con el detalle de la altura de la ciudad de Cusco, pues le sufres. De ahi, todo lo demas esta excelente, tanto en ubicacion como en precio
